Reviews of Small Group tours to India And Nepal
- Bestseller Tour India with Nepal, flight included
Firstly, our trip to India and Nepal was great. We saw so many sights, experienced 2 different cultures and ate Indian and Nepali food. Wonderful! Our driver and sometimes guide, Prakesh Sharma was very good. He drove us through heavy traffic and over some terrible roads with patience And safety. He is very personable and a good person to spend time with. He always put our wishes first. He is also very caring. When Carol got sick, he didn’t go off duty that night until the Dr had left and we knew she would be OK. We do have some suggestions: 1) Limit your departures to one or two a week instead of every day. That way you could make Sure there are enough travellers to fill A bus and not be sending people off 2 at a time with a driver. While there are pros and cons to being on a bus vs a driver, we were expecting to travel by bus and would have preferred that for the sociability of meeting other travellers, if nothing else. We also expected that there would be a guide with the group for the whole trip And not different guides in different cities. Some of the guides told us that Tourradar doesn’t pay them and they depend only on tips. This puts pressure on the traveller to tip more than they really want to. 2) Don’t take people to Ele-jungle outside of Jaipur. A much better experience( and less expensive) would have been to ride on an elephant up to the Amér Palace at Jaipur. 3) you state in your website that travellers will need about $200 US for expenses. You clearly state the things that are extra( elephant ride, safari at Chitwan and plane ride over Kathmandu valley). However, the way the tour is described, it sounds like at least some admissions are included. in fact, none were. We spent more like $500 On admissions and meals. When you say that we would be having supper Chitwan at the lodge, it sounds like it is included but it is not. While nothing in India or Nepal is very expensive and it was not a big hardship to pay all the admissions, we felt quite mislead by your description of the tour. We had no complaints about the hotels we stayed at. One thing about the itinerary I would suggest would be to have 2 nights in either Chitwan or Pokhara and reduce the # of nights in Kathmandu from 3 to 2. Having the flight from Kathmandu to Dehli at the end was good since it takes a very long time to travel a given distance in India
- India Golden Triangle Tour with Nepal
We have just returned from an incredible family adventure through the Golden Triangle in India—New Delhi, Jaipur, and Agra—as well as a memorable visit to Kathmandu, Nepal. Our trip was organised by World Experience and booked through TourRadar as part of an 8-person group tour. From the very beginning, communication via WhatsApp with World Experience and the local guides was smooth and efficient. Having private transportation and knowledgeable local guides in each city made a huge difference and truly elevated our experience. I highly recommend opting for organised transport and local guides to get the most out of a trip like this. We stayed in triple rooms with our 22-year-old daughter, and breakfast was included at all the hotels. We especially enjoyed the breakfasts—delicious and full of local flavors, which we always love to explore while traveling. It is worth noting though that 4-star hotels in India do not always match European standards in terms of services and facilities. Our driver in India was very experienced, and we felt safe throughout the journey. Still, driving in India is a world of its own—traffic is chaotic, with frequent honking and overtaking, and we had quite a few breath-holding moments on the road! In Kathmandu, The Moonlight Hotel was the hidden gem of our trip. We loved everything about it—the central location, the charming courtyard, the delicious food, the warm and helpful staff, and the lovely triple room with a view.We fell in love with the city and its heritage. All of our guides were knowledgeable and insightful, and their tips and recommendations really enriched our experience. They took us to excellent local restaurants that were both high-quality and reasonably priced. We absolutely plan to return to India and Nepal in the future to explore more of these fascinating countries!

It was also well planned so that if we had been in a tent one night we could recover in a more comfortable hotel the next."
What cultural experiences are unique to small group tours in India and Nepal?
The small group format allows for direct cultural connections including family meals in Jaipur morning yoga by the Ganges in Varanasi and private temple ceremonies in Nepal.
