  • R

    Robyn

    Asked on July 30th, 2026

Any reason why the activities is age restricted? Can't my 12 year old go on those activities?

    Age Range
    • TourlandOperatorWritten July 2026

Please note that summer activities do not have an age restriction, so your 12-year-old child is welcome to participate.

    • R

      Robyn

      TravelerWritten July 2026

for the optional activities, you have Icefield+Gandola+Skywalk (all 3) but in the itinerary, you have the following: Columbia Icefield Adventure - Ice Explorer ride onto Athabasca Glacier or Glacier Skywalk glass-floored suspension bridge (approximately 2.5 hours, purchase on-site)
Why does it say explorer ride or skywalk and purchase on site?

    • R

      Robyn

      TravelerWritten July 2026

And how do I confirm the options for lunch selection?

    • TourlandOperatorWritten July 2026

Please note that we recommend adding the following 3 optional activities to your booking in advance:
Banff Gondola+ Columbia Icefield (Ice Explorer)+ Glacier Skywalk

These activities are very popular, and availability cannot be guaranteed for last-minute requests.
To avoid disappointment, we recommend reserving them when you place your order.
For Maligne Lake / Maligne Lake Cruise, this optional activity can only be purchased on-site. Since we are unable to confirm the exact departure and arrival schedule for that day in advance, the tour guide will introduce this activity and check with guests on the second day of the tour to see who would like to participate.

    • TourlandOperatorWritten July 2026

Regarding the meal arrangement, the tour package offers an optional 5-lunch package, including:
Lunch in the Rockies: Asian Cuisine
Deluxe Lunch at Chateau Lake Louise
Western Set Menu (main dish selection required in advance)
Each guest may select their preferred main dish option from:
      Beef
      Chicken
      Vegetarian
Please inform us after you place your booing.

The meal package is designed for convenience, allowing guests to enjoy their meals without needing to order and pay separately at each restaurant.
Please note that meals are arranged by the restaurants based on the available ingredients and menu options on the day. Therefore, individual meal requests or specific dietary preferences may not be accommodated. If you have specific dietary requirements or preferences, we would not recommend adding the group meal package.

However, please rest assured that our meal stops and hotel locations are conveniently located, with various dining options available nearby. You may choose restaurants and meals that best suit your preferences and needs.
