The tour was quite ok, but not perfect. I had booked a 6 day Kruger Park tour. Altogether 2 days were really within the Kruger Park. The drives in the Balule Nature reserve do really differ from Kruger Park. They should not be counted as drives in the Kruger Park.The tremisano lodge may have had better times. There was a chemical smell in the room, the water came from tanks, no drinking water. The room was quite dark, not attractive for a longer stay. Its about 100 km from the lodge to a Kruger Park gate. A long way which results in a very unattractive speed drive of the car. I had the impression that some drivers really like to drive fast, sometimes even within the Kruger Park they run faster than the allowed 50 km/h. At my second day visit of the Kruger Park, the official plan of the driver was not to use a toilet for the first 5,5 hours within the park. Although it was accomplished this is not a good idea. A toilet visit should be made possible about every 3 hours. The whole staff (drivers, guides, kitchen etc) made really a good job. Most impressive was the morning bush walk with the two armed guides. That was really a extraordinary activity.
