How many times will we have a chance to try catch the northern lights? Seems like 2 times?

Please note the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, and sightings will be dependent on weather conditions. G Adventures cannot guarantee that travellers booked on this tour will experience the Northern Lights. You will have two opportunities, day 2 and day 3.

Do you only depart on specific dates? We are looking at March 8th 2025. And, can me and my kid stay in the same room? We wanted to visit some of the lave caves and the volcano, is this still possible?

Yes all of our travel dates are pre set a year or more prior. Looking at the tour we do not have any available dates for 2 in March. All of our rooms on the tour are twinshare so 2 people per room.

Are optional activities like glacier hike and Harpa Concert Hall free?

The Glacier Hiking on Sólheimajökull is EUR 96 to add to the booking. The Herpa Concert hall is free to visit.

Is it possible to book a single hotel room all throughout the trip?

We can offer a single supplement for $469CAD on top of the tour cost. This will ensure a single room for all nights of the tour except for nights 2 and 3, which will be at the Alftrod Guesthouse.

Are we able to add extra days to do the Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon? We want to take a look at the Diamond beach. We are also interest in doing ice cave tours if possible.

We do not offer customizations of our trips, so any additional nights you require can be requested at the start or end hotels, or you can arrange them on your own. As with the ice cave tour, this is not something we offer as an extra on your booking, so you would need to arrange this on your own during free time or after the tour.

  For the extra snorkeling tour, is it required to know how to swim? I don't know how to swim but is interested in doing the snorkeling tour at Thingvillir.
