Honestly, this trip was unforgettable. We got a surprise upgrade to a 5-star lodge — Ivory Tree Lodge — and wow, it was incredible. Beautiful setting, amazing service, and the game drive was everything I hoped for and more. Seeing the Big 5 up close was something I’ll never forget. Everyone we met in Zambia and Zimbabwe and cape town was just so warm and welcoming — it really made us feel at home. Especially our tour guide -Collins One of the highlights for me was visiting a local neighborhood in Cape Town. It wasn’t polished or staged — just real people, real conversations. That kind of genuine connection is rare when you travel, and I’m so grateful for it. Victoria Falls was absolutely stunning. We saw it from both Zimbabwe and Zambia, and while both were amazing, the Zambian side felt a bit more dramatic and immersive to me. Huge shoutout to Delightful Travel for putting everything together so seamlessly. i'll introduce this tour to all my friends. :):):)

The tour was a great introduction to South Africa and its complex history. Jakes is very knowledgeable and is passionate about his country. He also took the time to customize the tour for me (more time in Pilanesberg) if you are looking for a short trip where you see a lot and in comfort this is a great option.
