We had such a great adventure! Tourradar had to switch us tours last minute and they did such a great job taking care of us! 10 day Cape & Garden Route Package - optional accommodationI had an amazing time on this Garden Route tour! I did this tour mid August, and it was a very small group: it was 5 travelers and our guide. We were lucky to have Mark as our guide. He is very knowledgable, attentive and funny. He made the whole tour very smooth and safe and we all greatly enjoyed spending those 6 days in his company. The tour is a highlight of the Garden Route and a long distance is covered in 6 days, so expect to spend a lot of time in the car every day. I actually enjoyed this rhythm since I like to cover a lot of ground. The very best of the tour was actually our last day / which in the program is advertised as the first day (the tour order is sometimes changed depending on availability at the accommodation they use), that is to say Hermanus, Betty's Bay and Clarence Drive. August is right in the middle of the southern right whale migration, so we had the change to see many whales up close on our whale watching tour. All in all, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wishes to discover the Garden Route in one week! Do plan to stay in Cape Town for at least 3-4 days though to see what the city and its surroundings has to offer.
