The tour was well organized and we ended the tour feeling we had experienced Banff Jasper, Lake Louise and the glacier as well as Vancouver . The transport from Calgary to Banff, was comfortable and offered opportunities to experience the sights. The bus from Banff to Jasper that we were on for almost 12 hours did not have functioning air conditioning , the driver while a pleasant person did not have the engaging tour guide skills we enjoyed on the other transfers and tours. There was no follow up from Tour Radar about the uncomfortable conditions in the bus that we hope the driver shared with the company. Having to confirm our own transfers and tours and even a lunch (that were part of the overall tour) should not have been our responsibility . The tour guides with the one exception noted above were knowledgable , engaging and enhanced our experience. The train was a disappointment as far as sights. However the food was outstanding .
Canadian Pacific: The Rockies to Vancouver by RailKevin, Brendon and Alex were amazing in organizing a guided adventure trek in the Rockies! From teaching you to pitch your own tent 🏕 to conquering new mountains, they are with you in every step :) Oh and the delicious meals, haha! We had the luxury of having cinnamon buns for breakfast, campfire and s’mores, endless conversations and meeting people from different backgrounds, it’s a trip of a lifetime! 9 Day Rockies Hiking and Camping TourGreat itinerary. Excellent drivers and knowledgeable Tour Director. Good included and optional excursions. Mostly nice hotels. Clean windows on bus allowed for photos from inside. Meals not included allowed for good options for eating. Masks not given to all guests, with some coughing continuously on the long bus rides. By end of trip many people had caught a cold. Saily Departure times only provided the night before, so could not use when initially comparing between tour offerings. Ultimately, two days with very early hotel check-out times and bus departures.
