  What parts of Yoho Park would I see on the optional and how much would it cost on the September trip? I'm not interested in hockey. Would I have time to explore Banff downtown? Time to could I run around on the bus system They have there?

    For guests interested in seeing more of the Rockies, we offer the optional experience Yoho National Park and Moraine Lake Excursion. Explore the jewels of the Rockies as you journey to Yoho National Park and Moraine Lake in the spectacular Valley of Ten Peaks. Highlights include Takakkaw Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in British Columbia.
    
    Regarding the hockey experience, participation is optional. If you prefer not to join, you may have the opportunity to enjoy some independent time; however, the amount of free time available will depend on the day's schedule and logistics.
    
    Banff townsite is very walkable, and many guests enjoy exploring the shops, restaurants, and local attractions during their free time. The ROAM transit system is available in Banff, but we cannot guarantee there will be sufficient free time within the itinerary to independently visit Lake Minnewanka and return before scheduled tour activities.
    
    Johnston Canyon is not included in the planned itinerary. While some guests may choose to visit independently during free time, we recommend discussing possibilities and timing with your Travel Director once on tour, as available free time may vary.

    Per checking, the departure date 07-Sep-2026 costs USD 3,964.00 per person for a single room and USD 3,225.00 per person for a twin room.
    
    The trip, single and twin room are currently on request. It will take approximately 48 to 72 hours for our Operations team to get back to us regarding the confirmation or denial of the request.

    Regrettably, for our Canada's Rockies tour, the only departure currently available to request is September 7, 2026. All other departures in September have already sold out.

  Is Banff gondola ride included in tour price? The ice fields adventure? Morraine cruise? Hard to tell what is additional. Would I see emerald lake or yoho tunnels?

    The Columbia Icefield Adventure (including the Ice Explorer ride on the Athabasca Glacier) is included in the tour price. The tour also includes a Maligne Lake cruise to Spirit Island. The Banff Gondola is not included in the tour price. Guests may have the opportunity to purchase this as an optional experience, which will be offered and arranged by the Travel Director during the tour. As for Moraine Lake, Emerald Lake, and the Spiral Tunnels in Yoho National Park, these are not included sightseeing stops on the core tour. Should you prefer to make your own sightseeing plans while on tour, you are welcome to do so. We recommend coordinating directly with your Travel Director, who can provide guidance, suggestions, and information on local attractions and activities available during your free time.

  We would like to stay an extra night in Banff at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. Are you able to arrange that? Can we get the transport back to Calgary airport the next day? Or deduct that transfer from our package if we are not able to use that service?

    We understand that you would like to stay an additional night in Banff; however, we regret to inform you that extending your stay in Banff through us is not available. You may wish to arrange this directly with the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. Please note that hotel accommodations on this tour are subject to change, and at present, the hotel in Banff is the Banff Park Lodge. If you choose to book post-accommodation independently in Banff, please be advised that chargeable transfers from Banff to Calgary Airport are not available on the final day of the tour. You will need to make your own arrangements for your airport transfer.

    The deposit is USD 200.00 per person, with the final balance due 90 days prior to departure. Any cancellation made before the final payment due date will result in loss of the deposit, cancellations up to 30 days before departure will incur a 50% charge, cancellations between 29 and 2 days before departure will incur an 80% charge, and cancellations made one day before or on the day of departure will be subject to a 100% charge.

    The optional Yoho National Park and Moraine Lake experience will take place on Day 6, and the cost is CAD 61.00 per person.
    
    Exact payment options will be advised by the Travel Director. In most cases, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express are accepted, while cash is no longer an option. We recommend notifying your credit card provider before traveling abroad to avoid any issues with international transactions.

  Are foldable power chairs permitted? They are only used for distance.

    Since the guest requires a foldable power chair, please refer to the attached form that needs to be completed. Once the form has been filled out, we will forward it to our Operations team so they can verify if we can accommodate your medical request. This will also notify the Travel Director while on tour and it is recommended to bring a travel companion, as the Travel Director does not provide personal assistance.

  Is a Parks Pass part of the price? How long is the stop in Lake Louise? Is the "Be My Guest experience and additional charge? How many nights do we spend at the Banff Park Lodge? Maligae is marked as seasonal, is Sept still part of the season, and is this a boat tour of the lake?

    Yes, park pass is included in the tour price, the "Be My Guest" experience is part of the itinerary at no extra charge, and you'll spend three nights at the Banff Park Lodge. The Lake Louise stop is typically a short scenic visit (around 2 hours), and Maligne Lake cruises operate seasonally through September, so there's a possibility of a boat tour to be available then.
