The PA system on the bus were bad The voices of the travel guides were quite “muffled” and hard to understand. - JJSL· September 30th, 2023Just completed the Balkanic Miracle tour. We had a great experience due to the comprehensive itinerary and incredible logistics and planning by Europamundo. Despite the distances we had to travel everyday, the Europamundo guides gave us plenty of rest stops and managed the border crossings smoothly and efficiently. For the Bulgaria-Romania-Serbia-Bosnia leg, we were only 4 English speakers on a full bus of Spanish speakers. Having read reviews from other English speakers who ended up on majority Spanish-speaking buses, we were initally apprehensive. But kudos to Europamundo for assigning to our small group one of their most capable bilingual English and Spanish speaking guides, Viktor Toshev. He went the extra mile every day to ensure that we were not treated as an afterthought (as some other reviewers on other tours have commented). He was organised, his commentary clear, thorough but succinct, and his energy and enthusiasm was infectious, making the sites come alive. Due to the level of care we were given, it often felt like we were on a private customised tour and not a big group package tour. A good guide makes all the difference! The modular nature of the tour meant we had to be handed over to other guides along the way. This was smoothly done thanks to the efficency of guides Bibliana, Maria, Marco, Elena and Rafa.
