- Day 1
Calgary
You'll arrive in Calgary and settle into your accommodations. Your Tour Director will be available from 3 to 6 p.m. if you have any questions or need help getting oriented to the city.

- Day 2
Calgary to Banff National Park
This morning you'll explore Calgary's history, starting with Fort Calgary to see the ranching heritage, then move through Stampede Park and check out the iconic Saddledome. Canada Olympic Park is on the agenda as well. After that, you'll drive west into the foothills and enter Banff National Park, where an orientation tour gives you a sense of this gateway to the Canadian Rockies.

- Day 3
Banff National Park
You have the day to yourself in Banff. The town works well for wandering around at your own pace, or your Tour Director can suggest activities based on what interests you. If you're looking for something more structured, there's an optional helicopter ride over the Rockies, or you can join an optional trip to Moraine Lake in the Valley of the Ten Peaks.

- Day 4
Banff to Jasper
Start at Lake Louise where the turquoise water is framed by mountain peaks. Later you'll head to the Columbia Icefield where you'll board an Ice Explorer to ride on glacial ice that's 750 feet thick. After that, drive north crossing three mountain passes on your way into Jasper National Park for an orientation tour.

- Day 5
Jasper National Park
Another free day, this time in Jasper. You might take the optional narrated cruise on Maligne Lake out to Spirit Island, which covers the area's history and wildlife. Other choices include guided hikes through the region, checking out the local shops, or spending time looking for wildlife in the natural setting.

- Day 6
Jasper to Mount Robson to Kamloops
You'll leave Jasper and follow the Fraser River toward Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies at 12,972 feet. From there, head south along the Yellowhead Highway with the Thompson River alongside you and views of the Monashee Mountains throughout. By evening you'll arrive in Kamloops.

- Day 7
Kamloops to Victoria
You'll travel through British Columbia's Cascade Mountains and Fraser Valley, watching the landscape shift from dry terrain to thick forest as you approach the Pacific coast. Then board a ferry to Vancouver Island and head to the Butchart Gardens, where 55 acres of flowers and plantings fill the landscape. Later you'll walk through Victoria's Inner Harbour and Bastion Square, stop at Thunderbird Park, and finish with a stroll along the Waterfront Promenade.

The day is yours to spend however you'd like in Victoria. Your Tour Director has suggestions if you need them, or you could book High Tea at the Empress Hotel. There's also an optional wildlife and whale-watching expedition available if you want to get out on the water.

- Day 9
Victoria to Vancouver
You'll sail across the Strait of Georgia through the Gulf Islands and arrive in Vancouver. The day includes city sightseeing that covers Stanley Park and other well-known spots, after which you'll have free time to explore on your own. Robson Street is great for shopping and dining if that interests you, and the city itself has plenty of art galleries and neighborhoods worth checking out.
