The Dordogne region of France is so breathtakingly gorgeous that it seems to make everything else fade into the background. The guides were very informative and patient, the hotels were nice, space on the buses was a bit cramped but they were clean with some operators that took pride in them, and I wasn't as bothered as I thought I'd be that there was dinner included only twice. She was happy to change the itinerary slightly to suit us. Highlights were Gauffre du Padirac, Collonges la Rouge and Rocamadour. The Dordogne region is particularly beautiful. Should specifically advise travelers (especially experienced travelers) to convert monies to euros. Guides should be able to translate euros vs other currencies. - PPPeter· May 31st, 2024Incorrect info of where we started tour. They told us to meet at hotel in Porte D'Italie in Paris and they had no reservation there. So I spent 25 Euros to get to next hotel. Pls reimburse me for this. Then they said we wud meet 8-8:30 to start tour. Got a call while in shower at 7:15 am that bus was outside waiting.....you owe us a breakfast. Your was great, good spots; however info in English was not complete as three English people almost missed the pick up at train station on last day while Spanish people knew exactly where to meet. ( We were at main exit). Nice tour but my wife would not take another mixed/Spanish tour again due to language and she speaks fluent French/ English while I speak English / german. Upfront info/messages were weak for both this tour and the Ireland tour we took just prior to this tour and both were booked thru Tourradar and sourced out to Expat and Europamondo respectively. - Deborah Gaye· April 26th, 2024The tour destinations were very good, accommodation was good, the food was good, the final bus needed bottle holders/pouches that were missing, the tour guide (Spanish/Portuguese) seemed to speak for up to 30 minutes and the English guide for only a few minutes to a max of 10 min so I think we missed out of a lot of detail. The tour of Lascaux caves had a Spanish guide with earphones whereas we had a prerecorded English commentary. This method was not good as we were told off for talking, we had no idea of where to go as the guide was speaking Spanish which again went on for a long time compared with the English version so that tour was a bit strange. The rest seemed fine until the end when the tour finished in Paris with 12 of us, 8 Spanish and 4 English speaking, the pickup from the station was difficult as the guide was 30 minutes late and I had to contact the emergency number ( I was the only one that could do that as I had the internet and the Spanish people had no idea of what to do). Without guidance the Spanish people kept disappearing, so it was difficult. Usually, there are fewer passengers, although it will depend largely on the tours. The number can vary depending on the days or the specific sector of the tour. The maximum bus size is only around 2 - 72 travelers. You would be on one bus. There may be other buses, but you would only be a part of one bus.
