  • K

    Karen

    Asked on March 3rd, 2026

Does "guided tours as per the itinerary" refer to outdoor walking tours or tours within buildings like cathedrals, museums? Also, what are "timed entrance tickets per the itinerary"? Where do these timed entrances happen? For example, is there a timed tour for inside St. Mark's in Venice or inside the Basilica of San Petronio? Or will we just be walking around outside to admire them?

    Tour Details
    • Carrani ToursOperatorWritten March 2026

These generally refer to guided walking tours of the historic centers, with explanations provided from the outside of the main monuments and landmarks. Entrances to monuments, museums, or churches are not included in the tour package. Therefore, the visits are typically conducted externally, allowing guests to admire and learn about the sites while walking through the cities. If you wish to enter specific monuments or attractions, you are of course free to do so independently during their free time, purchasing tickets on site or in advance where required.

    • K

      Karen

      TravelerWritten March 2026

On the walking tours, do the guests use an individual receiver and headphones in order to hear the tour guide? How large are the groups typically? Without earphones, hearing the guide necessitates staying near him on the walk and maneuvering for position near him at each stop. How is this addressed on your walking tours?

    • Carrani ToursOperatorWritten March 2026

Yes, you will have headphones for the tours. The buses have a capacity of up to 50 passengers.
