    Asked on October 13th, 2023

I am hoping to go to Italy next year. I would really like to go to the country of San Marino while I'm there. Most tour groups of Italy do not include San Marino. However, you do. Also, you are very affordable. I really like the "Italian Treasures" trip. The only problem is that I can only book it up until the end of March. March is still winter where I live, and my flight might get snowed out. Also, I'm going away to New Mexico in April. I would prefer to have my vacations further apart. Is there any chance that you might be offering the "Italian Treasures" trip after March of 2024? It is one of your best trips of Italy, in my opinion. It is very indepth. Also, it starts on a Friday and ends on a Sunday, which means I would probably not have to take as much time off from work. I'm hoping that it might be available in the fall of next year. If so, I will probably book it. Also, do you offer any trips that spend any more than a few hours in San Marino? I've never been to that country before, and I would like to spend more than just a few hours there.

12:30h Florence – Our first contact with the Renaissance city is Piazzale Michelangelo, a viewpoint with marvellous views of the city. Don't forget to take your camera! Day 5 FLORENCE , PISA , Cinque Terre , GENOA
Total distance covered by road: 317 km.Countryside: Today is a day by the sea. The Ligurian coastline presents one of the prettiest sceneries and maritime corners of Europe.
      07:30 hrs - Florence -departure.
09:15 hrs - Pisa –Arrival-. We are obliged to leave you in the car park for tourist coaches. From here, we include the tourist train to take you to the monumental complex. Time to visit the impressive monumental complex of Pisa with its leaning tower, Baptistery and Cathedral.
11.00 hrs - Pisa –Departure-. We continue travelling along the Mediterranean coast. The mountains where Carrara marble is produced look snow-covered.
12:45 hrs- Levanto –Arrival-. In this town we take a train (expected to leave at 1:05 PM, possible changes) which through long tunnels by the sea takes us into the region of Cinqueterre, which cannot be reached by coaches due to its difficult geography of mountains that fall directly into the sea. The area has remained isolated and has preserved its traditions, and is now a UNESCO World Heritage site. In just 10 minutes on the train, we reach Vernazzo.
13:30 hrs - Vernazzo- Arrival by train. Arrival in one of the 5 villages of the Cinqueterre region, which maintains its maritime appearance. Its church of St Mary stands out, built in 1318 on the seashore. Time for lunch.
15:44 hrs Vernazzo -Approximate departure of our train from Vernazzo (timetables may change). We continue by train to Levanto, where our coach awaits us to continue on our way along the coast towards Genoa.
NB: The train to Cinqueterre is a regular local railway service and not a tourist service. Places cannot be booked and sometimes the trains are full and passengers have to travel standing.
(The councils of Cinqueterre have announced that they will establish measures to limit the maximum number of tourists arriving each day; to date there have been no limitations on our groups but given this new measure, we might be affected at the peak of tourist times. If this should happen, an alternative visit will be offered).
17:45 hrs -Genoa –Arrival-. The city where Christopher Columbus was born, time to see its monumental centre.

      Day 6 GENOA , Portofino , MILAN
      Total distance covered: 170 km.
NB: By boat, we reach the enclave of Portofino. It is recommendable to have some warm clothes to hand to be able to enjoy the trip on deck.
08:30 hrs - Genoa –Departure-. We travel along the Italian Riviera.
09.00 hrs - Sta Margarita de Ligure –Arrival-.
10:15 hrs - We board a ship for a 20-minute crossing to PORTOFINO, one of the most exclusive places in Europe. Time in Portofino, a beautiful town.
12.00 hrs -After this, we return to Santa Margarita, a very pleasant coastal town. Time to have a stroll and for lunch.
NB: Sometimes the boat to Portofino is not running due to the weather. In these cases urban micro-buses will be used to get to the town (poor quality service, sometimes lengthy waits).
      14.00hrs - Santa Margarita –Departure-.
16:30 hrs - Milan -Arrival. - Free time until 19:30 hrs. We recommend a stroll around its historic centre full of commercial life, and where its Gothic cathedral is not to be missed.

NB: Have some warm clothes to hand, you may need them to enjoy the boat trips included.
NB: On days of bad weather, the stop in Stressa may be shorter.
07:30 hrs - Milan -departure. We take the motorway to the great lakes. We first of all travel to Lake Orta; its rather more isolated position and its smaller size give it a special charm.
09.00 hrs - Orta de San Giulio -Arrival. A beautiful intact mediaeval town by the lake. In the centre of the lake, we will immediately see the Island of San Giulio with its monastery. On a small tourist train we reach the town where we have hired launches to sail across the lake to the island. Time to see the town and its island
11.00 hrs - Orta de San Giulio -departure. We travel to Lago Maggiore.
11:45 hrs - Stressa. - Arrival in this tourist town by Lake Maggiore. Time to have a stroll and for lunch. If you want, there is time to take a boat trip to the Borronean Islands which face the town

Verona - Time to stroll in the city of Romeo and Juliet.
      11:30 hrs - Verona –Departure-.
NB: depending on the time of year, the sunlight and the traffic on the way, sometimes we will see Verona on arrival from the lakes. In these cases, there will be an earlier start for Venice.

We include a boat transfer to Saint Mark's Square, the place where, after time for lunch, a local guide will take us around Saint Mark's Square, the Basilica, the Campanile, etc.; we will also see a popular Murano glass factory, where we can admire the technique of working with glass. If we fly in one day earlier, how much is estimate of the hotel per night? I assume the airport transfer is included if we stay in the same hotel as the first night's itinerary, right?

    • EuropamundoOperatorWritten August 2023

The price is per person, If you choose a triple room the three travelers will be together in the same room.

I just updated the price, in the cost section you can see the triple room discount.

Europamundo cannot guarantee that all the rooms in the hotels will have double beds. It is possible that in some hotels the room will have two single/twin beds.
In many hotels triple rooms will be a double room (one or two beds) with an additional bed which in some cases might be a sofa-bed or a folding bed. This may result in less space available and comfort than in a normal double rooms. We do not recommend booking triple rooms for three adults; we would only suggest this for families travelling with a child.

Some hotels, mostly those in northern Europe, have no air conditioning system, or the local legislation may establish the dates permitted for its use. I am looking to have a good trip to Italy during June or July. We are a family of five. We are two adults and three kids, ( 15 years, 12 years and 6 years). I wanted to check with you if you can give us a discount since we have kids and we are looking with different travel agents to get the best tour with the best cost. Is it possible that you give us an offer for tickets as well from Tel Aviv , Israel with a round trip? What are the costs which are not included and we have to budget for? Can you give us an idea how much we have to budget per day for meals or any other costs? Do we have any other optional trips and how much it will cost us?

I would like to check regarding the original price you put it at $1,294 and at the web it state $1,170 so my understanding that the stated discount should be after the total of $5,850 so it will add to around $ 800 so the total charges of $5,050 ? Also I wanted to make sure that we will have two rooms close to each other and the hotels are *4 with a breakfast on a good standard right? I also wonder if their will be any other meals included in the price? Also if we choose the optional tours is it possible to get a discount? My last question if I can work to book for a bigger group for example 10 to 15 persons is it possible that you give us a better discount?

    • EuropamundoOperatorWritten April 2023

We have checked the rates are correct, please check again. We will make the request for rooms one close to the other, but we cannot guarantee it, it depends on the availability of each hotel. Correct we use hotels *4. Location and comfort: Europamundo has selected hotels that offer the necessary comfort and location to allow you to enjoy the city where you are staying. There may be differences in the degree of comfort and the location, depending on the cities in question. However, barring exceptional circumstances, the hotels are always located in the centre of the cities visited or close to the centre, and in other cases they may be on the outskirts of the city, but always with good public transport connections to the city centre. We select our routes with the aim of offering excellent value for money. Our hotels are not luxury hotels. Your room will always have a private bathroom, a TV, etc. In many cases, it will also have a mini-bar, a safe deposit box and a hairdryer. Some hotels, mostly those in northern Europe, have no air conditioning system, or the local legislation may establish the dates permitted for its use. With regards to the meals, Daily buffet breakfast: Breakfasts are always included during the circuits and additional night, commonly it will be a cold buffet. The day of incorporation to the tour, the breakfast is not included. All other meals will be on your own. You will be given time to explore the local restaurants and enjoy your meals during the tour. It is not possible to get discounts on optional excursions. Discount group: Minimum passenger for discount: 16, Discount: 2%

The two small kids would like to have an all inclusive hotel with swimming and nice activities. I am thinking if you can provide us with an alternative tour for example italy to have a nice trip for 7 days and another country like Greece or Antalya with a resort all inclusive for 5 days to be within the same budget. I am the only one which need to apply for a visa to Europe or turkey so upon our decision I will go ahead to apply for a visa. I expect to need three weeks to get the visa and I have to book and provide documentation for the hotel booking and flight and insurance to get the visa. I am sure you can provide all needed documents for the visa purpose right? Also I would like to check your cancellation policy in case I do not get a visa.

    • EuropamundoOperatorWritten May 2023

Our tours do not offer all-inclusive hotels. In one of the hotels you could find a swimming pool but it is not something that we can guarantee. Our tours are designed so that you get to know the cities and points of interest with a guide traveling by bus. As soon as you confirm your reservation and attach a copy of your passports, we will send you a letter to help you with your visa process. Before departure Cancellation fee penalty: 31 days or more: Euro 100. 30/11 days before the circuit starts: 100 euro + 10%(tour and any extra services booked). 10/01 days before the circuit starts: 100 euro + 25%(tour and any extra services booked). No show: 100 % of booking cost (tour and any extra services booked). No shows at the start of the trip, without prior cancellation, will not be entitled to any refund (except force majeure, which will be examined on a case by case basis). In the event that the cancellation prior to the trip is produced by justified and demonstrable force majeure, only the costs of processing and services that cannot be cancelled will be charged.
