  Our Dec 2024 tour with VacationsToGo,12 Days Cairo, Nile Cruise & Hurghada, was exceptional. Our guides Michael, Mansour and transfer person John made this trip special and memorable for us. The accommodations, the food, the remarkable historic places we visited were quite impressive. Our Nile Cruise was very enjoyable, with excellent service and cuisine. The last few days at the resort in Hurghada was a beautiful experience. VacationsToGo handled all our arrangements, transfers, transportation and provided very knowledgeable guides. No detail was neglected. We would recommend this company highly.Show more

  Our tour was the best experience of a lifetime! Our tour guides Tamer and Mansour were the most informative guides we could have ever had. They were both so friendly and became friends by the end of our time together. Our transfer contacts John & Amr were so helpful in getting us from the airports and hotels! Without them we would have be “lost in translation”, literally! I highly recommend this tour.Show more

  We had wonderful time on our 12 day tour. Well organized and efficient Thank you John for all your help. Our tour guides ( Tamer and Monsor ) were very knowledgeable, very social and fun to be around. So a big thank you to both of you We learned alot from them. It was a busy schedule as we wanted to see as many places as possible in the time we had. So it was hectic at times, but we knew it would be. I highly recommend Tour Radar for a tour holiday. I just have one piece of advice. If you can afford a plane ticket from Cairo to aswan buy one, if you can't afford a plane ticket from Cairo to Aswan buy one you won't regret it. Don't do the overnight sleeper train. I would not hesitate to book with tourradar in the future. If you are worried about going to Eygpt because of the troubles in the region, don't be. We never felt Unsafe anywhere we went. Don't cancel if you have already booked, you will be safeShow more

  I'd like to share feedback from our recent Egypt tour. Overall, it was positive, with commendations for our tour guide, Ibrahim, and the vibrant John in Cairo. However, street vendors proved bothersome, causing inconvenience. Also, witnessing the mistreatment of horses during the carriage ride to Edfu was disheartening. Considering alternatives for this route could enhance future tour experiences. Despite these concerns, my husband, Fred, and I appreciate the team's efforts. Addressing these issues would further improve the experience for everyone.Show more

  I'm delighted to express my satisfaction with the Egypt tour I recently undertook with your company. The tour guide, Ibrahim, was truly exceptional, and I had a positive experience with John in Cairo as well. However, I must mention that the train portion of the journey was less than ideal due to its noise and lack of comfort. While I wished for an upgrade to domestic flights, my tight budget constrained such a choice. Nevertheless, I appreciate the efforts of your team and want to thank you for a job well done overall.Show more

  Overall the tour was good, mostly because of the iconic things you see in Egypt (pyramids, etc), the beautiful waters and beaches of the Red Sea and a very efficient and professional local tour operator. With no fault, we were met, greeted, transferred, assisted with check-ins etc. Also, the guides were excellent as well - very knowledgeable, friendly and caring. Few negative points. The train journey from Cairo to Aswan was a shocker - a 40 yo train/carriage which has unlikely had any maintenance, awful toilets, disgusting food. Our hotels experience was rather mixed. Safir in Cairo had good rooms, great breakfast buffet but unprofessional staff and arrogant management. It also located in the area of Cairo where it’s better to stay inside - though it’s pretty close to much better areas where you can get by Uber. BTW, we found Uber in Cairo extremely useful, reliable and cheap. Mercure in Hurghada has an excellent private beach and the rooms are nicely spread across a large territory - but the food included in the package (3-times a day buffet) is very average at best. There is also a very distinctive smell throughout the hotel - and it was particularly bad in our room. Looks like it was due to the water they use everywhere and therefore couldn’t be fixed. In general, be prepared to tip at every corner (so try to carry as much of smaller notes - 10/20/50 Egyptian pounds - as possible) and be prepared for Egyptian traffic and drivers - who easily put Italian ones to shame,Show more

  We very much enjoyed our Trip to Egypt made all the better for the fabulous staff we met along the way. Especially John, who met us at the Train Station in Cairo and took us to the Hotel. The next person we met was Maged who was our guide to the Pyramids and various other sites. Maged's knowledge was amazing and he was very comprehensive with his information on the Ancient sites and was very helpful when it came to helping us with language and also bargaining for purchases. But our most favourite guide was Mansour, he was beyond words, so accomodating and helpful, very knowledgeable and present at all times during our Nile Cruise. Especially when my niece was ill he treated her as if she were his own daughter accompanying her and me to the hospital and making sure that everything was looked after and the care he showed was amazing. We will be eternally grateful to him and the other staff who made our stay so enjoyable. I will definitely be promoting your company and your staff to my family and friends as the company to travel with in Egypt. Thank you fro the bottom of our hearts for making our trip to Egypt so very very memorable.Show more

  Unfortunately I had a very disappointing experience with one of the tour guides who kept having a go at me about how much I was tipping (which was already substantial given the amount of tipping expected in Egypt and on my own on the tour). He also left me at a bus station sitting on a cramped chair for an hour unable to eat my lunch instead of eating it at the restaurant and pretty much laughed at me left in this situation as he took off early. This was straight after giving him a substantial tip. These were not the only issues I experienced with the tour guide. I’ve never been treated like this on a tour and it upset me a lot. Apart from this poor experience the tour was well organised.Show more
