York
Your week kicks off in Cambridge where you'll take a punting trip along the River Cam, getting views of historic college buildings from the water. From there, you'll head to York for an introductory walking tour through the city's medieval streets and architecture. - Day 2
York to Edinburgh
Leaving York behind, you'll see the Angel of the North statue before moving on to Hadrian's Wall, the Roman fortification from 122 AD that stretches across northern England. Next you'll pass through the Scottish border town of Jedburgh, then continue north to Edinburgh. After checking into your hotel, you'll visit a nearby distillery for a Scottish whisky tasting and join your group for dinner in the city.

You can choose between two optional excursions: heading to Stirling to see another Scottish city, or doing the Conquer the Capital tour with your guide covering Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile in more detail. In the evening, there's an optional traditional Scottish dinner with local storytelling if you're interested.

Edinburgh to Scottish Highlands
You'll journey into the Scottish Highlands starting at Culloden Battlefield, then make your way to Loch Ness where there's a chance to spot the famous Loch Ness Monster (or at least look for it). An optional one-hour cruise on the loch is available if you want to get out on the water. Later you'll see Ben Nevis, Britain's highest mountain, and pass through Glencoe valley before arriving at your hotel in the Highlands for the night.

Finally, you'll board the coach one last time for the journey to London, where you can exchange contact details and photos with the friends you've made before the tour ends.
