    Asked on March 22nd, 2026

What is the cost for a private room?

    Single supplement
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten March 2026

The private room upgrade (single supplement) is +$765 USD per person, though please note that pricing and availability are subject to change. At this moment, this departure has already reached capacity for private rooms. You have a couple of options: you can join the tour on the standard twin-share accommodation, sharing a room with another solo traveler of the same gender, or you may choose to look at alternative departure dates that still have private room availability.

      Colin

      TravelerWritten March 2026

On arrival and departure days, are we picked up, dropped off at the airport? Or do we have to make our own arrangements to get from the airport to the hotel and vice versa?

    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten March 2026

For this tour, flights are not included, so you will need to arrange your international and any domestic flights separately. Airport transfers and pre- or post-tour hotel accommodations are also not included, and the exact arrangements will depend on your airport of origin and travel schedule. Once your booking is confirmed, we can provide helpful links to external providers for pre- and post-tour hotels as well as airport transfer options to help make your arrival and departure as smooth as possible.

    Asked on March 16th, 2026

Do you have any short tours we could do over the seven days from 24th May-1st June?

    Tour Details
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten March 2026

Since you have 7 days available from 24 May 2026, the Great Britain tour you selected would fit perfectly within that timeframe. It is a 7-day itinerary, giving you a compact but complete experience before your pre-arranged holiday in France.

  • J

    Julia

    Asked on March 11th, 2026

Is there any pick-up and drop off from to Heathrow Airport service? And pick-up and drop off from to Hotel for a day to day activity destination?

    Flights / Transfers
    Transport
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten March 2026

Airport pick-up and drop-off to/from Heathrow Airport are not included in the tour package. Travellers are generally responsible for arranging their own transportation between the airport and the starting/ending hotel. Once your booking is confirmed, we will provide the hotel details so you can easily plan your transfer.

Daily transportation to the destinations and activities listed in the itinerary is included as part of the tour. Travel between cities and major sightseeing stops is arranged for the group. However, during free time or free days, transportation to additional places you choose to visit independently would be at your own expense.

Actually do you have a detailed agenda that specifies what sites we drive past and which ones we get to stop and see?

Yes, this tour includes The Beatles Magical Mystery Tour in Liverpool. During this guided tour, travelers will visit and see key Beatles-related sites. The tour provides both drive-by commentary and designated photo stops at key locations. In addition to the Magical Mystery Tour, travelers will have free time in Liverpool to further explore Beatles-related attractions (entrance not included unless stated in the itinerary).

So we will transfer onto one of the Magical mystery tour buses? If so, then I can assume that I can check with their website to see the tour itinerary? Does this happen on day 5 or 6, because I see we'll be in Liverpool both of those days. Is there somewhere that I can see a detailed itinerary for this whole trip? One that specifies where we'll stop and how much time we'd have at each stop?

    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten February 2026

Yes, you will be transferring onto one of the official, colorful Magical Mystery Tour buses. Regarding the timing and specific itinerary, our procurement team is currently putting the finishing touches on the final schedule to ensure everything runs like clockwork. Because of this, I highly advise checking the itinerary on our website.

We want to be cost effective with the least of hotel rooms, but one person needs to have their own room because of snoring. What would you do for that?

    Accommodation
    Price / Availability
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten February 2026

As a group of six travelers, the standard rooming arrangement is twin-share accommodation, meaning three rooms. If one traveler opts for a private room, the remaining traveler would be roomed with another solo traveler of the same gender, or they may also choose to book a Private Room upgrade. The cost of the Private Room upgrade for this excursion is USD 855. Please note that private rooms are subject to availability.

Is there any sort of price list available for the optional tours/excursions?

    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten February 2026

We do offer a limited number of Private Room Upgrades per tour for solo travelers who wish to have their own room throughout the tour. For this tour, it is offered at around 1,045 CAD on top of the Tour Price.

    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten February 2026

If you are arriving a day early or staying 1 more day after the tour ends, you would need to arrange your own accommodations.

Bath is a UNESCO World Heritage Site boasting some of the finest architectural sights in Europe, and undoubtedly one of the highlights is the Roman Baths. Around Britain's only hot springs, the Romans built the finest religious spa in northern Europe. This great temple and bathing complex still flows with natural hot water. The extensive remains and a Roman museum of international significance lie beneath the Pump Room and Abbey Church Yard in the centre of Bath.
