This …We have recently booked our team on a 12-Day Luxury Cairo, Nile Cruise & Hurghada tour with Vacations To Go Travel as part of a professional training experience, and it proved to be outstanding. This trip enabled our team to experience the itinerary first-hand, thereby gaining in-depth knowledge of Egypt's highlights, luxury accommodations, and seamless travel logistics.
The tour started in Cairo, where the team visited the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and the Egyptian Museum. Visits to Saqqara and Memphis gave the team a deeper understanding of Egypt's rich history so that in the future, the team could confidently provide context and recommendations to its clients.
The Nile cruise was the icing on the cake: luxurious cabin, attentive service, and expertly organized excursions to Philae, Kom Ombo, Edfu, Abu Simbel, and the temples and tombs of Luxor. Actually taking part in this cruise gave us a better vision of what comfort and quality we are able to offer to the clients.
Hurghada provided the perfect ending, filled with luxury resorts, snorkeling in the Red Sea, and a desert safari that combined relaxation, adventure, and cultural immersion.
Our team was inspired by this fam trip and better prepared to present this itinerary to our clients, after having experienced the rich combination of culture, history, and luxury that makes this tour exceptional. With Vacations To Go Travel handling arrangements, we knew it would be a smooth and enriching experience for the entire team.

We had a truly wonderful experience, with every element of the trip running smoothly and on schedule. The staff, particularly the guides, were exceptionally knowledgeable and made Egypt’s history come alive. We were able to explore many of the major sites, and the optional tours and activities were organized with great care. If you choose this tour, I strongly suggest including Abu Simbel and the balloon ride in Luxor—both are absolutely worth the early start and the additional cost.

T…When I was doing the research I was incredulous that a tour can get only 5* ratings. My experience of the tour has shown why all reviews are 5* and deservedly so. Travel Date Oct 27 to Nov 07 2025. The accommodations were excellent. The service by the representatives of Vacations to Go Tours were very helpful and readily available. We were only 2 in the group and the transportation was in comfortable cars or SUVs all with air conditioning. Being only 2 in the group gave us extraordinary access to our tour guides Tamer in Cairo and Mansour at other places. I almost 76 and my spouse almost 70 could handle the hectic schedule, but I with some effort. Heed the note in the brochure about ideal age. We visited the GEM and Alexandria. Both are worth it. Mansour was very helpful in negotiating late check out in Luxor, because I needed more time to relax at the hotel.
General comments (not specific to the Tour): Baksheesh is a way of life. At ATMs you are limited to EGP4000 per withdrawal. However, getting smaller denomination (!0 and 20) Egyptian Pounds was difficult, leaving you to choose between not tipping or tipping a high amount. We had issues communication in English with staff at hotels. Alternate staff was able to help. Hotels keep the temperature around 18 Celsius (it seemed) and we found it cold in some areas of hotels. We are Canadians. While meals are included, any drink, including water is to be paid by the guest.

Also to our Tour Guides, Michele and especially Hassan Ashour who we met at Aswan. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He was also very conscientious in ensuring that all in our group enjoyed themselves and covered what they wanted from the tour, especially as he had a group from three different countries to consider.
He made us very welcome and we enjoyed his company.
My wife and I both thought the Sound and Light show and meal at the Pyramids was not worth the money and seeing. Others in our little group that evening also thought the same, so maybe re-think this in your itinerary.
Everyone were very kind with us. Specially Michael, Tamer and Hussein.

And the hotels were luxurious, comfortable, and classical. Like enter into a palace.

Wonders of the World! It was an amazing adventure and to stand in history was the most spectacular sensation to have. It was an amazing adventure and to stand in history was the most spectacular sensation to have. The guides were full of knowledge and the itinerary well designed to sightsee and rest. We had VIP service. Miguel was so real, reliable, and helpful. He made our Egypt trip feel safe and enjoyable. It was a true jewel! We had an Egyptologist for Giza and Archeologist for our Nile cruise and Luxor visit. It was beyond what we expected. Jordan was evenly amazing. We were provided with a driver Ali, who is a wonderful person, kept us safe, and at ease with attention to details. Visiting Petra, the Roman ruins, Dead Sea, and the desert was inspiring. Finishing each trip with a visit to the Red Sea was a great highlight and relaxing end to the trip. We highly recommend. There are no conflicts there and safety to tourist is high priority.

Ended up booking a 10 day tour to fit with all travel timings for the Nile River Cruise, an extra 2 days in Hurghada with upgraded flights to return to Cairo instead of a full day drive.
All correspondence between myself, Tour Radar and Vacations on the go were replied to within 24 hours. All questions and queries were answered.
Prior to arriving Vacations on the go used What's App for all communications.
Arriving at the airport the tour was met with John, who lead us through airport security process and forward to our hotel check in, followed by a break down of what we were doing over the 10 days.
All the added on sites and tours were organised perfectly by John and Michael. Outstanding work gentleman.
Optional tours worth doing were Quad Bike riding through the dunes around Giza and Hot Air Balloon ride.
Confusing part of the journey was how much we should be tipping to Vacations on the go guides. Firstly was some bank machines we tried using wouldn't accept our Visa or Wise Cards if we ran low on cash for tipping, it felt like we were limited on how much we should hand over. Also keep a tipping cash aside.
As for the rest of the tour package, there's was plenty of walking, heaps of time allowed for each site, ample amount of time to rest after tours and night activities.
All Vacation on the go operators we dealt with spoke English on a reasonable why to communicate with during the journey.
Overall the tour was great with 10 days to experience the basic sides of Egypt. Heaps more to see and do if time permits to stay longer.

Some things could have been avoided as they were of low interest or not worth the time spent: Nubian village was too long of a boat ride for not much to see, and some of the “forced but no pressure“ shopping stops were ok but also ok if avoided.

My only complaint and it's not even really complaint is I think at the end of the your we definitely needed to stay at least 3 nights in Hurghada so you could experience both the diving and everything Mecure had to offer. The food, the people the experience was spot on. The cruise was amazing as well. Would we travel again with these guys ABSOLUTELY, we are already taking with our friends to come over again in 12 months time and an added bonus we have made new friends from your. Our guide Ibrahim attended us in Luxor, on Dahabiya to Assuan and to Abu Simbel and back to Assuan. He is a very good guide. His knowledge is unbelievable good. As well the staff on the Dahabiya was great. We enjoyed the whole tour and wouldn't forget.

Tomar gave us a great tour of the pyramids and the museum. He has so much knowledge, and he shared it with us. He helped us to see the best of each location.
Monsour was the best. As he said, he tries to learn from the people in the group, what they are interested in, and adjust his knowledge sharing accordingly. At every stop he looked after us, guided us to the best areas. He did an excellent job of getting us ahead of the crowd.

For Egypt, Tamer was our guide in Cairo, he was so informative, I would have liked more time in the museum but I wasnt comfortable risking the traffic back to the hotel but that was my choice.
Mansour was great for the trip from Aswan to Luxor, he was such a nice guy & so informative on evertything. He was such an easy guy to ask questions to. I had a great trip allround

The Egyptologist tour guide in Cairo (Tamer) was a fountain of knowledge--giving us an awesome primer on ancient Egyptian civilization, while showing the various sights in Cairo. The other Egyptologist tour guide in Aswan and Luxor (Hassan) was a delight to work with--very energetic and very knowledgeable about all the monuments we toured. Overall, we had a great experience and we highly recommend this tour to everyone.

This year took my entire family, my parents who are in their late 70s and my little one who is four years old and we had the best time ever and memories for a lifetime!
Every single aspect from arrival at the airport, ttransfers, hotel accommodations, and of course, visiting the most amazing sites with the best guides is all carefully planned and executed with perfection!
This year I made new friends: Michael, Tamir and others along the way.. and got to see my friend and wonderful guide Mansour!

Egypt is safe to travel and having traveled around the world nothing compares to the Ancient Egyptian civilization.

Just finished a 9-day Nile Cruise, and gotta admit, Tamir, our guide, really pulled through. Whether at the Pyramids in Cairo or dealing with the laid-back scene in Hurghada, Tamir got the job done. The Nile cruise was a dream, and Vacations to go travel's arrangements helped smooth over the tour amazingly. Tamer's insights made the historical sites even more fascinating. The Giftun snorkeling tour was a splash of fun, exploring vibrant marine life by the Red Sea. Plus, the hot air balloon ride was a breathtaking experience, giving us a bird's-eye view of Egypt's wonders.

I booked this tour to join my daughter in Cario as ever since she was in primary school we said we would go to Egypt and see the pyramids. She's 23 now and having travelled through Europe for the last 3 months - I did meet her in Cario and what a time we had.
Despite the hot weather, we conquered Egypt. We were prepared to meet other people on this tour to share the experiences but in the end we felt like we were treated like royalty as the week we did it we were the only two .
Michael and John in Cario - meet and greet you and look after the mundane task of the jetlagged brains - thanks guys for your help. Tamar (guide) and his driver made the long day at the pyramids and the Museum such a worthwhile experience. With the hot museum in its final hours before moving to the new centre in Giza , to have someone take you around the salient statues and displays with knowledge to share was terrific.
Transfers to airport were smooth and connections worked.
Mansour our guide for 5 days from Aswan to Luxor has a wealth of knowledge with his 21 years experience. He had things all sorted and has a lot of connections around the traps . His patience with our questions and photo taking ability was appreciated.
The highlight was seeing Abu Simbel. Despite our plane being cancelled the 4 am start and long drive was an education in itself experiencing the Sahara Desert . The reward of slowly coming around the path and seeing these temples has to be experienced .
All other drivers were courteous . The cruise was fun and we were thankful to use one of the crews phones to see a Matilda's match on board the big screen.
Yes fly back from to Cario from Hurghard by plane ( the 5-6 hour bus ride from Luxor to Hurghard was tedious)
- but take the extra day as the glorious trip to Giftun island took up a whole day - one more day of relaxing after the week would have been magic at Hurghard.
Tips - remember all entries into all the temples / tombs are not included.
- can use VISA card ( actually cash not an option at sites - and card on smart phone easily helps
- tipping people is the culture - so take US$1 notes - I took $40 with me plus some larger US notes - and if taking Egyptian Pounds - get lower currency notes as tips can be used by this method and you will need 5-10 Egyptian pound notes for toilet visits.
We did not do the balloon ride at Luxor but many did ( we'd had a few early morning) - we had a big day that day anyway at the Valley of the Kings anyway and the temperature soon got to high 30's .

For our time in Cairo, we had Tamer. He was very funny and extremely knowledgeable. He took us throughout Cairo and shared the beautiful history with us. We stopped for lunch together and sat in a cafe to really enjoy the culture of Egypt and it was lovely. He took amazing photos of us that I will cherish forever.
Our coordinator was Micheal who got us on to our flight to Aswan and helped us when we returned back to Cairo. We stayed in Egypt for another week after the tour but we rented a car and he brought us to the airport at 4 am to do so and helped everything go nice and smooth.
I’m Aswan-Luxor, we had Ibrahim. Ibrahim was one of the highlights of our trip. I believe he is the best tour guide I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He is so thoughtful and extremely smart. He made this trip more than we could have ever expected. My husband is a history teacher so he could listen to Ibrahim’s knowledge forever. He was so happy to really get a deep dive into the beautiful history. Ibrahim’s experience and genuine kindness as a human being seriously stood out. He constantly made sure we were comfortable and he shared so many amazing little hidden gems with us. You can tell he loves what he does and the love is so contagious. He made everything smooth and fun. It was really a pleasure to get to know him.
John had our transfer back to Cairo from Hurghada, which is a long drive. But he is very funny and made the time enjoyable.
Overall I would recommend vacations to go travel. The only feedback o really have that isn’t sparkling is that it took us a very long time to get our final travel documents which made me very nervous. We were told 15 days prior, but didn’t receive I’d until like 2-3 days prior I believe. Aside from that, this experience was absolutely amazing. I have learned so much and felt like I really got to embrace the wonderful culture.

I learned so much from him and it was wonderful to make connections to the history at the beginning and end. For Aswan and Luxor, Islam was my guide and I also learnt so much from him too. Abu Simbel, although an early start, was absolutely beautiful to see and I think I may have said 'wow!' out aloud when I stepped inside. The Steigenberger Hotel in Cairo was fabulous - their breakfast was plentiful and covered all tastes - you could sit there for hours and eat if you wished. Everyone was very kind, and the bar by the pool had refreshing drinks. The laundry service was also efficient and came back earlier than expected. If I was to do the Nile Cruise again, I wouldn't stay on the Alyssa. There were some very nice staff on the cruise (whom I am thankful for), but also, there were some that made me feel uncomfortable and question their actions. There were enough times where I felt uncomfortable, that it makes me rethink the decision to choose that cruise option. But I don't think that's a reflection of Vacations to Go. The staff from Vacations to Go were amazing. They responded to every one of my queries in a timely and helpful manner through the online system before the trip. When I arrived, the representatives (Michael in Cairo and representatives in Aswan and Luxor) were extremely efficient. They were there are arrivals promptly and guided me through all the processes, and also did the same for departures to make sure everything went smoothly. I would definitely recommend Vacations to Go.

Egypt and Jorden have both captured a piece of my heart. I never got why people became obsessed with Egyptology and tomb hunting, but now I know.
I was concerned about travelling on my own to countries that are seen in the UK to have very different cultural approaches to women, but not once did I feel unsafe (apart from crossing the road in Cairo. I take my hat off to Egypt’s “Rock” for driving in that every day!) and everyone I met from tour guides, hotel staff, waiters, and shop keepers, were respectful, welcoming and could not do enough to make sure I had a good trip.
My special thanks go to Michael Adolf (vacations to Go Travel, Egypt), Hussein Elmouneir (vacations to Go Travel, Egypt) and Ahmad Alhafez (Experience Jordan Adventures). Each of them went above, and beyond the high standard of customer service, I received throughout my trip.
Firstly Michael, what a great person to be met off my flight! I was nervous and concerned about being on my own and having to find the hotel transfer, sorting my visa and having no Egyptian pounds on me. I grabbed my bag and headed out into arrivals; there was Michael with a big clear sign and an even bigger smile on his face, “welcome to Egypt”.
He immediately put me at my ease and sorted everything for me. He continued this the entire time I was in Egypt, checking in to see how I and the others in my group were getting on. He even checked in when I was in Jorden to ensure everything was good. He did everything I asked and more, changing bookings, sorting flights, and printing documentation for my onward travel. He even spent a while checking the return flights to the USA, which my fellow travellers had booked, even thou the flights were not part of the package.
Hussein’s beautiful and lovely stories of the temples and the Gods and Goddesses not only showed his passion for the workmanship but for the mythology around these magnificent structures. It was a delight to see how pleased he was when we started to recognise images of the gods and know some of the symbols; that pure delight of sharing your passion with others was infectious. He has inspired me to learn more about the ancient gods.
Hand in hand with his passion was his kindness. There was an elderly lady in our group (86, I can only wish to be half as fit as her when I’m that old!) that had a mobility issue. Hussein guided us in such a gentle way that we managed to see all the best parts at a pace fast enough that we didn’t get swallowed up by bigger groups but also allowed her to rest when needed.
And finally, Ahmad. How will I ever be able to take a road trip again without him? We laughed, mostly about Jorden’s national bird, we sang, and we talked about everything and anything. Ahmad made sure I had the must-have photos, the sea level marker on the way to the dead sea and the camel crossing road sign and added a few little extra stops along our route that he knew I would enjoy. Most of the extra stops did involve food. Lots of food! We ate well, a real taste of Jorden. If Ahmad ever starts a food tour of Jorden, I will be on that trip!
I learnt how to swear are bad drivers in Arabic, and I turned his car into my walk-in wardrobe. Getting footprints on the dash and a ton of sand in the foot well, other drivers would have hated me, but Ahmad took it all in his stride. His car was my car to do what I liked with. “I’ll just get it cleaned when your gone”, Shoulder shrug. This carefree attitude and no rush, as it was just me, meant for the first time in a long, long time I could just relax and simply just enjoy the drive without having to organise anything or think about anyone else. A total escape from my life back home. What more can you ask for in a holiday?
I have waited since 2020 for this holiday, and it surpassed my expectations. I will be travelling in the middle east again, and I will definitely be booking another holiday with TourRadar.

Tamer was awesome as well when we went to Giza pyramids and Egyptian Museum. I highly recommend the Abu Simbel and hot air balloon ride extra activities. There are worth not missing!
A couple of small criticisms would be to not have guest arrive on the Nile cruise a day before it sails. It would make a lot more sense to stay in the hotel in Aswan for two days in a row, rather than one day at the hotel and then on the boat that is docked over night. The Movenpick hotel in Aswan is incredible! We would have loved to stay there one more night. The second criticism would be to not have to fly back to Cairo from Luxor, especially so late in the evening. Our tour ended around noon and we had to make special arrangements with the Nile cruise boat to allow us to sit on the boat for 5 hours before we were transported to Luxor airport. We had already spent 3 days in Cairo on the front of the trip, so it was disappointing that we couldn't explore more of Luxor and had to fly back to Cairo to catch our international flight the next day home.
Overall, excellent tour! We highly recommend for all families of any ages. We had kids from 11-17 with us and they all had a blast. The Vacations to Go representatives at each city were helpful and always available to us. I greatly appreciate Michael and his quick responses to my WhatsApp questions and concerns.

I felt like he went out of his way to make us feel welcome and take care of us every step of the trip. Everything seemed very organized from start to finish, with Michael and Magdi taking care of our airport transfers and other details. At no point during the trip did we feel unsafe. All vans/busses we used were clean, comfy, and had AC. Accommodations were great, better than expected based on some other reviews. My only complaint for the specific tour I was on is that we ended up combined with another group who had a similar itinerary to us but not exactly the same. It wasn’t really an issue except for on the transfer from Cairo, when one group took a train and the other group flew, the train arrived late and left us waiting around in the hotel in the morning for an extra hour or so, which could have been used to catch up on sleep or spend more time at a specific temple/attraction. Obviously train schedules are out of the tour’s control but just something to consider when combining groups in the future.

Vacations To Go travel, which was the local tour company, really went all out to take good care of us. Ahmed was our guide for 4 days in the Luxor and Aswan area and he was great. I would have like …Vacations To Go travel, which was the local tour company, really went all out to take good care of us. Ahmed was our guide for 4 days in the Luxor and Aswan area and he was great. I would have like to had the tour star in Aswan and end in Cairo to eliminate a lot of unnecessary travel. As it was we traveled the nearly the full length of the country twice. The food was constant and plentiful but because it was included in the price we were limited in our selection, I would rather have chosen our food and just paid for it separately. Optional extras, such as Edfu, Abu Simbel, and the hot air balloon ride at Luxor were some of the highlights of the trip and should not be missed. We did feel that spending a day, including 6 hours of driving in a van, to see Alexandria was a waste and we would rather have spent time in Cairo with things like a city tour and a visit to the Citadel. Sound and Light shows and the Great Pyramid, Karnak Temple, and Philae Temple should be listed as optional extras because the two that we did were great fun and we would have gone to Philae Temple but we had a scheduled dinner in a Nubian Village which was unnecessary because we had lunch in another Nubian Village the next day. Overall, the sights and experiences were amazing, we felt safe the whole time, and Vacations To Go Travel took very good care of us. Some small changes to the itinerary would have made the trip perfect.

Everything went well for three countries visits. Although you had contracted tours of Jordan and Israel for these tours, the transition went very smoothly. Only one problem was the visit to Masada where the cable car was under maintenance. They should have let you know in advance. However, I am glad you adjusted our program to compensate the Masada tour cancellation.
All airport pick ups agents, drivers and guides were excellent, knowledgeable, courteous and friendly.

My daughter and I were surprised to find that we were the only participants in this tour -- but it resulted in very personalized attention from our guides, who were both quite knowledgable and helpful. Ibrahim suggested minor changes in the order of the itinerary to avoid the worst crowds, which were especially thick at Kom Ombu and Edfu. All of the logistics of the trip were well handled and went smoothly. The cultural expectation of baksheesh for every service, however small, was a greater financial drain than we had expected. Guidance was provided on reasonable amounts for various services, but added all together, the total was quite a bit more than we'd planned for. However, overall it was a memorable and enjoyable trip, and one I would recommend to other.

It was a busy schedule as we wanted to see as many places as possible in the time we had. So it was hectic at times, but we knew it would be. I highly recommend Tour Radar for a tour holiday.
I just have one piece of advice. If you can afford a plane ticket from Cairo to aswan buy one, if you can't afford a plane ticket from Cairo to Aswan buy one you won't regret it. Don't do the overnight sleeper train.
I would not hesitate to book with tourradar in the future.
If you are worried about going to Eygpt because of the troubles in the region, don't be. We never felt Unsafe anywhere we went.
Don't cancel if you have already booked, you will be safe

From the moment we landed in Cairo on Day 1, we were greeted (within the security area) by Michael who ensured our airport transits were smooth. Our Cairo Egyptologist, Tamer, and our Luxor-Aswan Egyptologist, Islam, were amazing. A good tour guide really makes a difference to how we see and experience the sights. Would definitely recommend. We felt Egypt to be safe no matter what was happening in neighbouring countries.

Much better in November to March. The van drivers in Cairo and Luxor had nice A/C and were accomplished, safe drivers. The van in Aswan was of lesser quality and the A/C didn't work as well. The Cairo guide spent quite a bit of time with the group in the Egyptian Museum and was very knowledgeable. English was understandable by all people helping us. Highly recommend this tour service.

If you use a tour guide in the Old City, be sure to ask them to take you SLOWLY through each station of the cross. I was pleased with tour radar as a source to locate excellent tours. All in all a great trip.

We went with a tour so we didn't have to make the decisions about where and when. As with anything you do, nothing is perfect but the guys make things happen quickly and ensure it has minimum impact on the clients. There's no problems just solutions. There were some very early mornings but I won't complain as there expertise made sure the 4 people in our group stood alone at Abu Simbel! No words can describe what that felt like!! This happened on numerous occasions and if you trust and follow the shedule...it's worth it. The guides are great at telling you the story, you can see the enthusiasm they have for their work. They make sure you see "their" Egypt. We also had lots of quoestions about day to day life and they were more than happy to tell us everything. The cruise is all inclusive due to the space and time they have between meals, so there are a few limitations. Food is very good, and they try to spice it up with a bit of Italian night and Mex night. They went out of their way to accomodate my GF diet. The cruise staff were a blast, if they know you are up for a laugh you will see true spirit. Egyptians have a great sense of humour and it shows everywhere you go. A smile and "how is your day going?" and you have a new friend. Anyone who has complaints about this tour likely complains about everything else in their lives. I will be recommending to all my friends and family. Thanks to Vacations to Go for helping me check off one of the Bucket List items!! O & H

We would like to mention some people, ever-smiling Mr. Micheal Adolf (coordinator in Egypt) was really great, our tour guide Mr. Tamer Mamdouly was excellent, a scholar and a fine gentleman, Ayman in Nile (Aswan, Luxor) was very good. All the drivers were very nice to us (I don't remember all the names, but "Rock").
In Jordan we had Abu Hamza from Jordan attractions was also very friendly.
We really appreciate all the help and the fine arrangements (vacations to go travel).
We had a great time in Egypt and Jordan, and we visited the beautiful countries and met very friendly people over there, and saw the wonders of the world.

Be careful. We paid Marrakech to Cairo flight money to VTG 6 to 7 weeks in advance when we booked the tour. 10 days before the travel starts, they notified us that they booked and cofirmed everything …Be careful. We paid Marrakech to Cairo flight money to VTG 6 to 7 weeks in advance when we booked the tour. 10 days before the travel starts, they notified us that they booked and cofirmed everything except Marrakech to Cairo flight for which they will send us the confirmation 2 to 3 days before we leave from US. They never notified us regarding this booking 2 days before. When we called, they responded on the last day of our departure from US that they require $2,850 extra for the tickets of this flight which will reach to Cairo @ 5:00 AM in the morning next day and our giza pyramid tour starts at 7:00 AM leaving only 2 hours gap. They did not even consider that we may miss pyramid tour if flight gets little late and on top of asking lots of money on the last day of our leaving from US. We had lots of stress on the last day instead of dreaming for our tour. In the end, we purchased last minute flight from Marrakech to Cairo spending $1,850 more leaving us no choice.
We were thinking about how they will provide the services in the tour if they start us with the big problems in the beginning of the tour.
However, our impression changed when we reached there. The tour of Morocco turned out good. Our tour director Aisa and driver Ibrahim both were so nice, everyday showed up exactly at the time promised and treated us very nice until we left morocco. Asia had real good knowledge about history and journey of Morocco and we were pleased.
We were also pleased with Egypt Tour. Thanks to Michel who received us at Cairo Airpot and made sure our airport ride back having no problem. Our tour director for Pyramid and Mohammed for the rest of the Egypt were nice and knowledgeable. The hotel in Cairo Steinberger was nice and very professional. Cruise, Aswan, Abu Simbel, Nubian village, luxor, valley of the king everything was enjoyable.

Our tour guides, Tamer and Hassan were also great, very knowledgeable and making it fun as well.
The only negative for us was the starting hotel, Safir Cairo Hotel. Although rated as a 4/5 star hotel, the district and surrounding area we felt wasn’t particularly safe. We met up with a fellow traveler, on her own, and she was afraid to go outside the hotel. We also agree, even as a couple it was not pleasant.
However the food, cleanliness, staff etc were a10/10.
So I think that Tourradar/Vacations To Go need to look at other possibilities when the hotel (Safir Cairo Hotel) is described as “similar” to the Steignberger Hotel El Tahir Cairo, it is not. They appear to be in totally different areas. Please review this.

The only thing that I would suggest is to have more optional tours available for the 7th and 8th days for the Hurghada stay.

Wifi was not readily available in the boat. Had to go back and forth to the concierge to have the wifi. We were not used to the Egyptian food, not too much variety. Entertainment on the boat needs a lot of improvement.

Booking and customizing the trip with Vacations to Go Travel was smooth, they are responsive and answered our questions quickly (vaccines, visa, payment, optional activities, ...).
They took care of everything from picking us up at the airport, transportation, accommodations, food, visits to the attractions and drop off to the airport.
The guides were very knowledgeable and helpful and give us a good description of each site that we visited as well as interesting information on the kings and gods in Egypt.
The tour pace was perfect, busy enough to visit many attractions but not too hectic to allow us to enjoy the places, take some pictures and get some rest.
The hotel in Cairo was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was great.
The room we had in the cruise ship to go from Luxor to Aswan, was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staffs were very attentive and friendly.
Several optional side tours were available to complement the main tour. The hot air balloon in Luxor was amazing to catch the sun rising in the desert. Abu Simbel morning should not be missed and really worths the 3 hours ride to get there.
