  First time travellers with Vacations to Go and we could not fault the entire experience. From the support staff in the Cairo office to Michael and the guides in Cairo, Luxor and Aswan, they all did a fantastic job, and made our Egypt tour a memorable one. The accommodation options were first rate and the recently renovated Nile Cruiser was fabulous. My wife and I were very impressed with Vacations to Go Egypt and will certainly consider the tour company for future travel destinations.Show more

  We contacted Tour Radar initially and was put in contact with Vacations To Go Travel. Don’t even try to go to Egypt if you don’t have Vacations To Go (John in our case) walking you through every process…from picking you up at the airport, getting the required Visa, and getting you to the hotel and back to the airport. The tour guides contracted were the absolute best. Tamer guided us through the Pyramids and museum and organized a wonderful lunch with an incredible view. After flying to Luxor for the cruise portion of the trip, we met up with our guide Monsour. He stayed with us every step of the way for the next 4 days. He was a wealth of knowledge and his love for Egypt was contagious. We highly recommend Vacations To Go Travel and there’s nothing we would have wanted done any differently. 15 out of 10 rating!!Show more

  I booked our trip through Tour Radar, looking for a reputable vacation company. The tour on offer was 10days in Egypt .it covered Cairo,Aswan,Luxor and down the Nile. The company we travelled with was Vacations to Go. This company is based in Cairo and has the advantage of having its own people on the ground. From the moment we landed we were taken care of by Michael who was an absolute delight . Our guide in Cairo was Tameer, an extremely knowledgeable man with a wonderful sense of humour, then we were passed to Hussain in Aswan who guided us through Aswan and Luxor and when we left it was like leaving a family member. The knowledge of our guides was amazing and their passion for their work obvious. I have been asked what was the trip like. Stunning is the answer. I have recommended Vacations to Go to everyone I know. Everyone there i must say you deserve a platinum rating, from the office team who patiently answered questions, the drivers,amazing, our guides and the wonderful airport greeters you gave us the best experience possible and you were all the bestShow more

  Looking for a safe, exciting and interactive way to experience Egypt, Look no further!! Our time spent was worth every minute and dollar! Through our Organizer John, We saw the most amazing sites, (the Pyramids blew us away) museums, and temples; learned from some of the most experienced, not to mention funny guides (Egyptologists-Tamir and Monty) and took in incredible amounts of knowledge on culture, ancient Egypt, foods and daily life. The Nile River boat was so relaxing and was staffed with wonderful friendly people, great food, drink and fantastic LIVE entertainment!! Our stays at each place was clean and comfortable, just as advertised. Giant shout out to the Sheraton Cairo Hotel and Casino, 5star all the way! We snorkeled in the Red Sea, we stood on holy grounds, and felt both humbled and larger than life at the same time. Totally worth it - don't wait - book now - you wont be sorry!!Show more

  We were pleased that our group was limited to the 7 of us who booked this tour and that we had very personalized guides throughout the tour. Honestly, we thought that we would be in a bus tour of maybe 20 to 30 people. All of the guides were friendly and met the needs of the group and the individuals in the group. All the excursions were as expected except the light show at the pyramids which was a big letdown. We were expecting seeing a light show which is going on now for the grand opening of the grand museum. So, I would not recommend that excursion unless they change the show in the future. All in all, we were very satisfied, and we thank you and your staff for a lovely time in Egypt.Show more

Dirty and a lot of noise from the street, no insulation at all. 3) The Sound and Light at the Pyramid was terrible. 4) The choice of restaurants during the day was poor. They are known to be very informative and have a lovely, engaging style. Their approach combines solid history with light stories to make the tours enjoyable for both adults and students. Concerning the Tolip Hotel in Aswan, we understand your concerns. However, hotel options in Aswan are quite limited, and the Tolip remains a good choice within its category. You were also placed in the superior room option, the best available. About the Sound & Light Show at the Pyramids, we were surprised to hear that you found it disappointing, as it is generally considered one of the main highlights for most travelers. Could you please share what aspect you didn’t enjoy? This will help us understand better. As for your request for additional site visits, these were unfortunately not part of the original itinerary, which is why we couldn’t include them. We understand this might have been disappointing, but we needed to follow the agreed program to maintain the timing and quality of the overall experience.   This was the perfect introduction to Egypt. We went late in the season and with the Gaza conflict on we were the only two on the tour enjoying the knowledge and friendship of the guides. It was hot in Upper Egypt but tolerable and outing times were adjusted to early morning and evening. George, our guide in Lower Egypt was fantastic and his knowledge and pride in his ancestors was admirable. The accommodation was superb, although the Nile Ship was a little dated it was super comfortable and well equipped. The food was exceptional. We always felt very safe and looked after.
