What will be the hotels used in Tokyo and Kyoto?

The hotel in Tokyo will be Yaesu Terminal Hotel and the hotel in Kyoto will be the Hotel Elcient Kyoto or similiar.

The information does not mention the class and rating of the hotels on the tour as do some other tours companies. Please send me examples of the hotels on this tour that you have or will use. Also we are arriving via cruise ship on Oct 8 in Yokohama, and would like to preplan our hotel.

The following are hotels we frequently use on this tour, all offering a comfortable 3-star standard or equivalent: Yaesu Terminal Hotel (Tokyo), Yamagishi Ryokan & Hotel Mifujien (Lake Kawaguchi), Hotel Elcient Kyoto, Dormy Inn Premium Kyoto, and Sanco Inn Kyoto Hachijoguchi Shikinoyu. While we may occasionally substitute similar properties, each offers en-suite rooms and convenient amenities.

I have two weeks to tour Japan's main sites

I have checked all of our Japan tours and they are all sold out for travel in the next week. The next available dates are the 25th or 31st May, with the tours being anywhere from 7-15 days, so I am afraid they will not work with your restricted time frame.

Can you provide any information about diet accommodations?

What is the group size for the Japan tour?

The group sizes can vary, but you'll meet your local tour guide and other passengers on the first day at the Welcome Meeting.

Do I need a Japan Rail Pass for travel?

It's not necessary to pre-purchase a Japan Rail Pass; a tour guide will assist with your rail card needs upon arrival.

Where do we meet our tour guide?

You will meet your tour guide during the Welcome Meeting on the first day at the hotel lobby.

As extensive correspondence with the tour company has stated we felt that the tour offered VERY poor value for money....
As extensive correspondence with the tour company has stated we felt that the tour offered VERY poor value for money. The high cost was not reflected in the standard of accomodation, all entrance fees were excluded and there were very few meals included. The tour company's response was that they had high overheads reflecting back of house expenses eg training, quality control etc Also they failed to pick up at the incoming airport as promised, stating we were ''coming in early' despite the fact that flight arrangement were always the customers ' responsibility. The guide was quite good but we would never use this company again. Feel ripped offf. Show more

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 70 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
