I saw this on TourRadar. It is a very similar itinerary to many others but more expensive than most. What makes it better? I am certainly ok with a higher cost for a better experience but I can't tell the difference based on the description.

This was a two-part journey: Jordan and Egypt. Vacations To Go provided us “concierge service” all the way, and I was impressed by their smooth, seamless operation. Aya met us before we got to immigration at Amman and guided us through customs etc. This was of tremendous help and relieved us of any anxiety usually experienced in traveling through such countries. Usually we don’t need hand-holding, but appreciated the personalized assistance. In Jordan, we were lucky to have Sayel as our driver. He is extremely polite and exceptionally kind as well. On the first day, I had some stomach trouble: he immediately stopped and got me a 7-Up and then took us to a pharmacy to get the right medication. This salvaged the day! And we could continue unabated and relish Jordan’s big three—the Dead Sea, Petra, and Wadi Rum. We were hooked up with local guides at various spots—Kerash, Dead Sea, Petra, and Wadi Rum—who were professional and knowledgeable. Mohamed at Wadi Rum was a funny guy who delighted us with humor in his broken English while taking us on a 4WD safari through scarlet sands of the desert. Mohamed at Petra has formidable knowledge of Petra. He has an honorary PhD and later he was slated to escort the Indian PM Narendra Modi through Petra. Tamer and Ayman were excellent guides in Cairo and on the Nile, respectively. Moustafa at Abu Simbel was brief but effective. So, the quality of guides was decent. This made the archaeological sites come to life giving us a historical perspective. Again, Vacations To Go’s dedicated assistants got us to and from Abu Simbel airport with efficiency in spite of the time crunch. Hot air balloon after disembarkation needed coordination and Ayman was on point. The balloon ride over the West Bank of Luxor itself was magical. Chateau Lafayette was a nice cruise ship with excellent food, although I wouldn’t call it 5 star. Michael shepherded us through Cairo airport four times. He has an effervescent personality and was a delight to deal with. All in all, we relished the incredible odyssey through Jordan and Egypt. I would definitely recommend Vacations To Go.Show more

For Egypt, Tamer was our guide in Cairo, he was so informative, I would have liked more time in the museum but I wasnt comfortable risking the traffic back to the hotel but that was my choice. In general, my experience on this trip was positive. We explored not only the popular attractions but also enjoyed several off-the-beaten-path experiences. However, there's room for improvement in the choice of accommodations, especially in Jordan. Throughout the journey, we always felt safe and well looked after, thanks to the friendly demeanor of our two tour guides, Bassem and Mustafa. The Tour Radar website was quite easy to use; it made an entire two-week trip easy, as I was given an online itinerary for both Jordan and Egypt. The tours themselves were then run by two different firms, one in each country. My Jordan experience was much smoother than my Egypt one, and this is why I gave TourRadar four stars, and not five. They are a web platform, and like most, they do some curating of the firms who post on their sites, but not enough. Sometimes you get lucky (Jordan), and sometimes you just get okay (Egypt). I'll end with this: If I was again traveling to an area of the world I was completely unfamiliar with, I would consider using them ... but I would take a much more proactive approach to the actual itinerary, and I would also first search for a local travel agency that someone I knew could recommend from personal experience.Show more

We arrived at Amman and were met by a smiling guy named George who walked us through all of the necessary paperwork upon arrival. Ahmed was waiting in a nice car to pick us up and take us to the Corp Hotel Amman. For the rest of our Jordan adventure, we had Ahmed as our driver/guide. He was AMAZING!! Always on time, car was clean and cooled down. Ahmed answered any questions we had about the country and culture and deftly maneuvered us through unbelievable traffic on the roads of Amman and throughout our trip. He even knew where every single speed bump was in the roads and highways! When in Petra, Ahmed introduced us to our guide who he knew personally and was actually born in a cave in Petra. This guy did a fantastic job of telling us all about the way of life and history of that area. In Jerash, we had another wonderful guide that was very knowledgeable and showed us lots of interesting things. Throughout Jordan, our accommodations were just perfect, clean, and well located. Walaa and Magdy with Vacations to Go were such a delight to work with. As a travel agent, I had lots of questions because I am detail-oriented when it comes to travel. They patiently answered every one of them and set my mind at ease. Unfortunately for me, I broke my foot on the last day in Amman and was unable to continue my journey into Egypt. Again, everyone with VTG was so kind and helpful to change our return home. They even went above and beyond to secure a last-minute pick up at Cairo airport by Michael and transfer to our hotel for our 6 hour overnight there. Then they picked us up at 4am to take us back to the airport for our flight home. I can't say enough how grateful I am to everyone who put together the details of our trip. We were so well taken care of!!Show more

Visa
- Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 17th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 17th, 2026, a minimum payment of $300 is required to confirm your booking with Vacations to go travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 75 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Vacations to go travel will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Vacations to go travel" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
Cancellation Policy
- Your money is safe with TourRadar, as we only pay the tour operator after your tour has departed.
- TourRadar is an authorized Agent of Vacations to go travel. Please familiarize yourself with the Vacations to go travel payment, cancellation and refund conditions.
