Egypt's history blew me away, but some optional tours were pricey. Food was okay, but we had to start early and deal with crowded traffic, especially in Cairo and Giza. There were too many shopping stops, and remember to budget for tips and entrance fees, which were almost half the tour price.
Despite these things, I really enjoyed the tour and would recommend it to friends. Thanks! Shawn

My recent Egypt trip with Vacations To Go Travel was truly unforgettable! Just like my travel companion, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Bassem, our guide, was exceptional, and the Nile cruise was a highlight. Despite the early start for day tours, especially during Ramadan when days were shorter, I didn't regret traveling during that month. Ramadan turned out to be a wonderful experience! The hotel in Cairo provided iftar arrangements at sunset, and it was heartwarming to see locals joining in. The decorations for this holy month, both at the hotel and in the streets, added a special touch to our stay, particularly in Luxor and Aswan. Exploring the local culture and observing the deep connection the Egyptian people have to their religion, beliefs, and traditions was a highlight for me. Their kindness and friendliness were truly remarkable. I also loved the concept of free food on tables in the streets across every city in Egypt—it's a beautiful display of community spirit. Magdy and his team took great care of us. Michael met us at the airport, helped with currency exchange, and made sure we were happy with our hotel. He stayed in touch throughout the trip to ensure everything went smoothly. Mahmoud, our driver, ensured safe and timely transportation.
We explored iconic places in Cairo with our guide, Bessem, who was excellent. We also had Ibrahim with us on the Nile Cruise, and he was amazing, providing historical insights and recommending memorable experiences.
We felt safe in Egypt, with a visible but not overwhelming police presence. The locals were friendly, and our guides managed vendors well. Overall, we highly recommend visiting Egypt. The strong US Dollar made it economical, and we did a lot of shopping!

Our drivers kept us safe & on time with their skillful navigation through the crazy Cairo traffic. Enjoyable riding in clean & comfortable air-conditioned vehicles. Although we are still only at the start of our trip, we could not recommend the tour team & company more highly. The team have created high expectations for the rest of the tour.

Everything on the tour was great, the only issue we had was with the accommodation in Egypt at Pyramid Park Resort where nothing worked and the rooms weren’t cleaned properly.
It was an awesome experience and adventure. Although it was a non-stop tour your company ensured we saw everything we could in 8 days. Loved all the accommodation too except for the Mezayan at Wadi Rum. So you know for future reference, the rooms were not well maintained there - eg. one of the bathrooms had a missing shower door and in another the shower head height could not be adjusted.

The tour is private and we had an A/C car or van with driver and excellent guides through out the whole trip. Our guide in Cairo Bassem was a wonderful guide who was an extremely knowledgeable Egyptologist who explained everything in great detail, whilst making us feel comfortable and relaxed. The description of the website and the informational package that we received via email was very informative and detailed. It had all of the information we were looking for (questions) especially the tips for the trip.
From beginning to end, the entire trip was very well planned and organized.
The entire staff were very attentive, friendly, and answered all our questions.
As we arrived at Cairo’s airport, we felt very welcome by Mr. Michael Adolf “Mr. Mickey”. He was already waiting for us to arrive and I was able to locate him immediately since he was holding the Vacations To Go sign.
As we proceeded to obtain our Egypt Visas, Mr. Mickey was very instrumental in helping us navigate through the VISA process and getting the VISA faster despite the long waiting lines.
Mr. Mickey was always extremely helpful, informative, very friendly, super funny and explained all aspects of the trip very clearly.
He made us feel very comfortable like we were long time fiends.
He will always go out if his way to ensure that we were comfortable and safe back in our hotel. Hats off to you!!!!🤠🤠🤠

Despite Egypt chaotic traffic, the drivers were driving very calm and nonreactive to all the commotion going on with the city traffic. Big shout out to Mahmoud " Egyptian Rock" very friendly and helpful driver.
Our first tour guide, Bassem was very friendly, very well educated and had excellent knowledge of every place he took us. He explained so much details of the pyramids, history of the city and museum artifacts. Excellent person 👏
Our next tour guy was just unbeliably amazing! Mr. Hassan made us feel relaxed. Since the very beginning when we met him, he explained in detailed all aspects of the trip during the Nile Cruise and all temples we visited. He is very knowledgeable and did an excellent job in explaining a lot of information of each site. He knew how to navigate the long waiting lines and how to obtain entrance tickets faster instead of waiting for a long time. We already missed Hassan, we bonded with him so much. In Jordan, Mr. Mohammed helped us navigate through all of the different sites drove us to the different cities throughout Jordan. He's a great person, very professional, always on time, answered all of our questions and made us feel very comfortable the whole time.
We would definitely use your services and recommend it to our family, coworkers and friends. Hopefully they will get the same team and tour guides we had.

This was our first experience taking an organized tour and the whole tour was great. We were met at the airport by Michael who walked us through the visa process and got us into the car to the first hotel. Our tour guide, Bassem Wagdy was the best. He has a great passion for all things Egyptian and keep the tour interesting and fun. All the hotels and the river boat were first class. We extended our stay at the end and spent five days in El Gouna. Michael met us at the end of the stay in Cairo and helped help get us back on the plane with no hassles. We would definitely recommend Tour Radar to anyone wanting to tour Egypt.

Both are knowledgable and kind. The trip is on a strict schedule because there so much to see. You do get your money’s worth and the accommodations were excellent! I’d have like more time to shop especially at the Pyramids and Cairo Museum. The trip is perfect for those that can walk an average of 10,000-14,000 steps. You do have the option to walk less if necessary, however you won’t see as much. Overall, I enjoyed the trip so much that I plan on doing it again!

From the moment we arrived at the hotel until we the moment we boarded our plane back to our home - our time was magical. The tour was made especially nice by our informative tour guide, Bassem. His knowledge of Ancient Egypt was exceptional, and made our time extremely meaningful. As an experienced traveler, we are accustomed to civilizations highlighting the absolute best of their cultures, but Bassem also shared the "not so great" aspects of current Egyptian culture that displayed his integrity and was appreciated. Our group was rather large, and he handled questions eagerly and as thoroughly. Many of us had specific questions regarding our lineage to Ancient Nubian Egyptians and he took the time to explain how specific people of Egypt considered themselves "Egyptian" than others (really we should receive a college credit from all the knowledge he shared with us). Now the fun part, The Valley of Kings was the highlight of the trip for me. Seeing the ancient tombs and hearing the stories was quite remarkable. Additionally, Abu Simbel should not be missed. Of course the Pyramids of Giza was a hot steamy dream, that checked a bucklist item for me, but the light show can be omitted from your itinerary - not worth the squeeze. Aswan, the Nubian village was especially warm and inviting to our group (Bassem treated our group to henna for the ladies and shesha for the men). The food and accomodations were excellent, and each meal was satisfying. My wife and I were especially grateful that Bassem helped her secure special artifacts for her clients back home. Be prepared to tip throughout your time in Egypt as it is expected. We arrived at Luxor at night, but I wish we had more time there - but again our group was large and a bit challenging. We skipped market vendors as the world seems like it is being taken over by Alibaba and Jeff Bezos. The special vendors that Bassem brought us too had a "gentler" feel with private shopping and were willing to negogiate pricing respectfully and we were extremely happy with our personal purchases. To haggle in market for mass produced items feels awful as everyone has the same merchandise. We are especially enjoying our cartouches that are around our necks daily that was worn to protect the pharaohs from evil spirits and bring good luck. We will continue to feel the good energy from this trip for years to come.

Overall tour: Our tour guide met us the airport upon arrival and stayed with us until our departure. Michael and Bassam were excellent. Our group was rather large, which presents challenges but it was handled with professionalism and grace.
We had a police escort, and additional security. We were properly advised when we entered markets that were deemed aggressive.
Information: Bassam specifically gave historical references from antiquity to modernity that was exceptional. Personal references were appreciated as gave a insight to his feelings about his homeland.
Shopping: I was also extremely pleased with the level of vendors Bassam introduced us to. All had notable acquistions, not normal items that you would haggle for in the open market, but higher quality pieces. I often prefer not to engage in "haggling" as it changes my overall experience. Bassam negogiated prices according to what I was willing to pay - which is a respectful amount to provide the vendor with profit.
Tours: My favorite part of the tour was Aswan and the Philae temple. My mind was completely blown at Abu Simbel, while the Pyramids of Gize and the Sphinx felt like a life-long dream come to life. I would reccommend the horse and carriage to the pyraminds, instead of riding camel (inhumane treatment of animals is rampant throughout the world of tourism). The knowledge of Egyptian culture and customs was outstanding, and I especially related to Hatshepsut and her reign as Pharoah was especially inspiring. The Nubian village felt like home, and was especially welcoming with greetings of "sister", "cousin", and an overwhelming feeling of comfort.
Stay open to the lived experiences of others, without imposing your personal beliefs on others and you will have an Amazing Time.
