I want to start in Israel on the 3rd of June, 2026. I then want to fly down to Egypt and take that tour, flying back to the States by the 20th of June. Can you do this with me?

At the moment, we regret to inform you that all our tours to Israel are suspended due to the current unrest situation, and we are not offering Israel tours at this time. We will be more than happy to assist you with arranging your Egypt portion.

Do all of your Nile cruise ships that you utilize have elevators or lifts?

We are pleased to inform you that our Acamar Nile Cruise is equipped with an elevator—something that only a few cruises in Egypt offer. The upgrade supplement for this cruise is USD 550 per person for the entire journey.

We postponed our trip to Egypt last year. We are looking to reschedule this in 2026. My concern on how ACTIVE this tour will be. My husband uses a cane and walks rather slowly. I'm ok but don't like walking long distances (i think a mile is a long distance!)

Our 11-day program includes a combination of sightseeing in Cairo, a relaxing Nile cruise, and visits to historical sites such as Abu Simbel, Dendera, and Alexandria. While some walking is involved at the monuments and temples, we would arrange this tour for you as a private journey rather than as part of a group. This way, the pace can be adjusted entirely to your comfort, with plenty of opportunities to stop, rest, and take your time at each site. To arrange this as a private tour, there is a supplement of USD 500 per person, which ensures you have your own dedicated guide and driver throughout. This allows us to accommodate your husband's use of a cane and your preference for shorter walks while keeping the experience relaxed and enjoyable.

Is there a list of the additional excursions with prices

This journey includes most of the major tours. The following experiences are available as optional add-ons should you wish to enhance your trip: Camel ride at the Pyramids - $25 per person, Hot Air Balloon ride in Luxor - $139 per person, Sound & Light Show at the Pyramids - $60 per person, Sound & Light Show at Karnak - $60 per person

We are reviewing different tour options for Egypt this November. We would like to know what the accomodations will be. No offense, but "Or Similar" makes us nervous because in the past we have been stuck with hotels that were not up to the standard advertised. The same hold true for the cruise boat, can you confirm which one it would be on these dates? Beyond what you have listed on the tour, are there any other unknown charges/fees that we should be aware of. Finally, is bottled water provided during the tours, boat, and transfers?

We completely understand your hesitation regarding the term "or similar" based on your past experiences. Please allow me to assure you that in cases where one of the listed hotels or cruise ships is unavailable, we will always provide an alternative of the same category—or even higher—so that the quality and standard of your experience is never compromised. There are no hidden charges or fees beyond what is listed in your tour package. Bottled water is provided during tours, transfers.

Can you please confirm: 1) That you will be able to feed my wife who is a Coeliac and therefore needs to be Gluten Free 2) That we can add a day on at teh end so that we can do both teh alexandria trip as part of teh tour and The Gem museum on the following day (please quote this for us) 3) confirm that we still get the included airport transfer after the extra day.

Gluten-Free Meals: While gluten-free products are somewhat limited in Egypt, most of the meals on the tour are served as open buffets, giving your wife the flexibility to choose what best suits her Coeliac dietary requirements. We also recommend bringing some gluten-free crackers or biscuits to have on hand during the trip. From our side, we can arrange to have some gluten-free bread available for her while in Cairo, and if you wish, we can also prepare some for you to take on the Nile cruise. It's best to avoid dishes such as pasta with white sauce, as these often contain flour — rice, grilled meats, vegetables, and legumes are good alternatives and are commonly served.

Would you please let us know the name of the 5* cruise ship that this particular tour will use? We would like to know the name of the ship and also would like to pre-request specific cabins/location if possible.

The 5-star cruise ship for your tour is the Chateau Lafayette. Cabin assignments are arranged by the cruise management upon arrival, and we are unable to pre-request specific cabin locations.

When I was doing the research I was incredulous that a tour can get only 5* ratings. My experience of the tour has shown why all reviews are 5* and deservedly so. Travel Date Oct 27 to Nov 07 2025. The accommodations were excellent. The service by the representatives of Vacations to Go Tours were very helpful and readily available. We were only 2 in the group and the transportation was in comfortable cars or SUVs all with air conditioning. Being only 2 in the group gave us extraordinary access to our tour guides Tamer in Cairo and Mansour at other places. I almost 76 and my spouse almost 70 could handle the hectic schedule, but I with some effort. Heed the note in the brochure about ideal age. We visited the GEM and Alexandria. Both are worth it. Mansour was very helpful in negotiating late check out in Luxor, because I needed more time to relax at the hotel. General comments (not specific to the Tour): Baksheesh is a way of life. At ATMs you are limited to EGP4000 per withdrawal. However, getting smaller denomination (!0 and 20) Egyptian Pounds was difficult, leaving you to choose between not tipping or tipping a high amount. We had issues communication in English with staff at hotels. Alternate staff was able to help. Hotels keep the temperature around 18 Celsius (it seemed) and we found it cold in some areas of hotels. We are Canadians. While meals are included, any drink, including water is to be paid by the guest.Show more

We postponed our trip to Egypt last year. We are looking to reschedule this in 2026. My concern on how ACTIVE this tour will be. My husband uses a cane and walks rather slowly. I'm ok but don't like walking long distances (i think a mile is a long distance!)

We are reviewing different tour options for Egypt this November. We would like to know what the accomodations will be. No offense, but "Or Similar" makes us nervous because in the past we have been stuck with hotels that were not up to the standard advertised. The same hold true for the cruise boat, can you confirm which one it would be on these dates? Beyond what you have listed on the tour, are there any other unknown charges/fees that we should be aware of. Finally, is bottled water provided during the tours, boat, and transfers?

Can you please confirm: 1) That you will be able to feed my wife who is a Coeliac and therefore needs to be Gluten Free 2) That we can add a day on at teh end so that we can do both teh alexandria trip as part of teh tour and The Gem museum on the following day (please quote this for us) 3) confirm that we still get the included airport transfer after the extra day.

  Gluten-Free Meals: While gluten-free products are somewhat limited in Egypt, most of the meals on the tour are served as open buffets, giving your wife the flexibility to choose what best suits her Coeliac dietary requirements. We also recommend bringing some gluten-free crackers or biscuits to have on hand during the trip. From our side, we can arrange to have some gluten-free bread available for her while in Cairo, and if you wish, we can also prepare some for you to take on the Nile cruise. It's best to avoid dishes such as pasta with white sauce, as these often contain flour — rice, grilled meats, vegetables, and legumes are good alternatives and are commonly served.
