The new Grand Egyptian Museum, the monuments, and the aircraft experience were all very amazing.
We regret not adding an overnight stay at the Sofitel Old Cataract Aswan Hotel to our plan instead of just having afternoon tea there. We also regret not staying longer in Cairo to see the Grand Egyptian Museum again and learn more about it.
We have already told our friends about your services and will most certainly be back in the future.

We met some fantastic guides/drivers and stayed in some exceptional hotels too, which is more than we expected.
I have already recommended you to one of our friends who is looking at just the Egypt and Jordan portions of the trip.
All our guides are highly recommended and deserve to be high on your list for future bookings. All the hotels we stayed at were more than we expected, although the Radison on the Dead Sea was a bit of a disappointment.
Everything went smoothly, with the next guide or airport connection always waiting for us and ready to help. Truly outstanding service.

Being active travelers, we relished the opportunity to explore continuously and dine in various locales.
Highlights included a delightful dinner at the Nubian Village in Aswan and a memorable meal at a local restaurant overlooking the pyramids following the sound and light show tour. The Egyptian cuisine was a particular delight, and we found Egypt to be remarkably affordable compared to Europe and the USA.
Max Maged proved to be an exceptional and knowledgeable guide, enriching our journey with insights and expertise. Additionally, Michael, our Cairo representative, was consistently present to coordinate our pickups seamlessly.

I went on the 8-day tour to Cairo, Aswan, Luxor, and Alexandria, and it was amazing. We saw a lot of cool stuff and learned a ton about ancient Egypt.

We started in Cairo and saw the famous pyramids and the Sphinx. It was surreal being there in person and hearing all about their history.
Then, we went to Aswan and took a boat ride on the Nile River. The temples we visited were really interesting and had beautiful views.
In Luxor, we saw more temples and the Valley of the Kings. It was like stepping back in time to ancient Egypt.
The best part of the tour was Alexandria. We saw old catacombs, visited the library, and walked along the coast. It was beautiful.
The places we stayed were nice, and the food was good too. Overall, it was an awesome tour, and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to see the wonders of Egypt.

They were always looking after our group to make sure we did not get separated. The tour is extremely fast paced and i would suggest taking a rest day in between. The only tour we could have done without was the sound and light show in Karnak. Unfortunately the sound and light show was very boring. I believe the company did a great job with the limited time we had. Great job you guys! Once in a lifetime experience!! I recommend this company and this tour.

We saw many historical sights: Abu Simbel, the pyramids and Petra. We also saw other things such as the Dead Sea and the desert. It was balanced between relaxation and adventure. It was superbly organised; the whole journey was smooth and the tour guides were very helpful. We went as a family with 2 young boys (8 & 11) and would strongly recommend this (although there is ‘a bit’ of walking!). It was very professional and friendly, in particular Michael in Cairo and Mohammed in Jordan were brilliant. Good hotels, cruise and desert camp. Wonderful holiday.

Our Egyptologist, Maged, was wonderful: knowledgeable, humourous, friendly and patient. I only have 1 suggestion - while travelling on the buses from place to place I would have liked to know a little of the sites we passed.
The itinerary was full, with several early mornings, but there was also downtime where you could put your feet up, relax, and take in the wonders of Egypt. The Nile cruise was excellent, ship and accommodations lovely.

Let me just talk about Egypt first. Maged Max was amazing - his knowledge and expertise, personality and patience was fantastic! The country is just so amazing. The historicity of the whole place was just unbelievable. The Nile cruise was awesome, the food, the people, the hotels we stayed in. everything was just perfect! At the end of our trip we thought we were going to Hurghada for a bit of rest and recreation but then we had the option To go out in a flash boat, snorkelling. The coral was so bright and vibrant and the tropical fish just amazing. My little sister thought that was the best day ever but we just could not believe how amazing everything was. Maged was fantastic taking us to the bazaar and accommodating us when we wanted to stop and go shopping, although he did put a timer on us. Sending an armed undercover guard with us to the bazaar was exciting. We never felt in danger with or without a guard. it was just really amazing fantastic holiday. I'm so impressed with Vacations to Go and I hope that when I go to South America next year that they are half as good as you!
Jordan was fantastic too. The Bedouin camp stay was awesome. One of my favourites! I was the one that was chosen to be tricked by them and it was a beautiful moment caught on video by my family. First I would like to address the hotel in Cairo I had 3 different rooms in 24 hours the first 2 rooms were dirty the curtains were hanging off the windows the 3rd was clean this is not good enough yo…First I would like to address the hotel in Cairo I had 3 different rooms in 24 hours the first 2 rooms were dirty the curtains were hanging off the windows the 3rd was clean this is not good enough your 4* rating is very wrong your company needs to make more of an effort to make sure what you are advertising is correct. The tour in Cairo was good Max was very informative and happy to answer questions. The boat was definitely not 5* but the food was ok and the rooms were clean and comfortable, We enjoyed the tours but some days were very busy early start and late finish perhaps you could look at spreading the actual river cruise by an extra day.
The final hotel in Hurghada was a very clean the pool and beach areas were lovely our room was lovely BUT the food & drink were terrible no cups for tea or coffee in the restaurant at meal times, the food was cold and badly cooked very and a very limited choice, drinks in the bar were served in paper cups at times not really acceptable for a 4* rated hotel. I was very happy with our guide Max during the whole of our tour

Having experienced it now there are some places I would have liked to have spent more time at. In all honesty you need more days to do this many stops/places - but it is an AMAZING tour (note we did several add on's also). Our guide was wonderful and had so much knowledge. We were a family (kids 23, 27 adults early 50's) from the U.S. People from all over the world on the tour and met some great people. Would recommend doing the upgrade and flying to as many stops in between instead of taking the long bus rides. Well worth it. Would highly recommend this tour!

Maged Max our guide was absolutely fantastic. Not only was he very knowledgeable about all of the sites we visited he was also very helpful when it came to the art of trying to buy something. First class guide and employee that you should be very proud of.
The only small downside was the train journey, Cairo to Aswan was just about Ok, good food and nice steward. The Return, Luxor to Cairo was horrendous food very poor and most uncomfortable journey. I appreciate that this is a third party company and nothing to do with TourRadar.
We will certainly be booking again and please give all your staff a good pat on the back from us.

Whatever you think you know and expect Egypt to be, prepare to be absolutely amazed and overwhelmed. Every day of the trip was a new discovery that was more impressive than the day before (and the pyramids were on day 1!). It was hot ( beginning of October), busy and exhausting at times but it was absolutely worth it!
Accommodations were nice ( some issues with AC in the hotel) and boat trip up the Nile was very enjoyable. We took couple of optional trips, one to Alexandria which was just ok, and another to Abu Simbel, which was amazing and is highly recommended. Luxor museum is definitely worth visiting although it was not part of the tour. Another ‘extra’ site we visited was tomb of Seti I in the valley of the kings. We had to pay for separate ticket but absolutely worth it, if you get a chance do not miss it!
We would absolutely recommend Vacations to Go Tavel. Tour was well organized and Michael (tour organizer), Maged and Ibrahim (Egyptologist guides) were all very professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. From the first day greeting at the airport, throughout the site visits and to the last day they were available to give us guidance and information and answer millions of questions on everything: logistics, culture, history, and modern life of Egypt.
Couple of tips on what to look out for:
1. Everyone is trying to sell you stuff!! There are people selling cheap stuff at the sites everywhere and it can become exhausting to try to avoid them. In addition, we visited “artisan workshops” as part of tour where we were given some demonstrations and afterwords offered to buy locally made “authentic” stuff. You do not have to buy anything if you do not want to!
2. Tips are expected everywhere by everyone so be prepared for that and have cash at hand.
Overall it was an amazing experience and we would love to plan some other tours with Vacations to Go Travel.

With no fault, we were met, greeted, transferred, assisted with check-ins etc. Also, the guides were excellent as well - very knowledgeable, friendly and caring.
Few negative points.
The train journey from Cairo to Aswan was a shocker - a 40 yo train/carriage which has unlikely had any maintenance, awful toilets, disgusting food.
Our hotels experience was rather mixed. Safir in Cairo had good rooms, great breakfast buffet but unprofessional staff and arrogant management. It also located in the area of Cairo where it’s better to stay inside - though it’s pretty close to much better areas where you can get by Uber. BTW, we found Uber in Cairo extremely useful, reliable and cheap.
Mercure in Hurghada has an excellent private beach and the rooms are nicely spread across a large territory - but the food included in the package (3-times a day buffet) is very average at best. There is also a very distinctive smell throughout the hotel - and it was particularly bad in our room. Looks like it was due to the water they use everywhere and therefore couldn’t be fixed.
In general, be prepared to tip at every corner (so try to carry as much of smaller notes - 10/20/50 Egyptian pounds - as possible) and be prepared for Egyptian traffic and drivers - who easily put Italian ones to shame,

Our tour group was small (only 12 people) and we were all from different countries- a great group to spend 8 days with. The Jordan part of the tour was just the 4 of us with a driver, very different but also very good. The Egypt part is full on and you do cover long distances with early morning starts but it is worth it. Jordan is a bit easier with less distance to cover.
The OK rating was not for each meeting which went smoothly and successfully. I was met each time I travelled, which I had feared most if it went wrong. It never did. It never did. My huge OK rating complaint was that I was the only one on the tour! It was great having my own personal guide, all of whom were highly knowledgable and patient. But on the Nile cruise boat, I sat alone in the dining room at my own table. That was uncomfortable. After a day, I started chatting to a lady in the self-buffet dining line and asked if she would mind me sitting at her table with several others. "Of course" she said, so I did. Within minutes I was addressed by one of the cruise officials who stated loudly enough for the whole table to hear, that this was not my table and I was not permitted to sit there, and I should move at once to my own table. It was humiliating, demeaning and extremely unpleasant, not only for me, but for the whole table. In fact it spoiled to some extend the whole tour, but especially the Nile cruise tour. I STRONGLY recommend to Vacations to Go and Tour Radar that in the event of a one-person situation you arrange for that person NEVER to be alone at his/her dining table at any point (including the hotel where at least I was not humiliated). Regrettably it is the one event which sticks clearly in the memory, rather than the first glance at the Pyramids, Abu Simbel or Luxor, which should have taken precedence and been the overwhelming experience of the trip. They were not.

Staff were so helpful and friendly. Edfu while the temple is spectacular getting to it by carriage is an ordeal and not one that the company can change.

Our driver in Cairo just left us feeling safe as he drove in his chaotic city. The mini bus was always immaculate . He was always on time and so friendly.
Recommend this company to any person thinking of traveling to Egypt who does not want to travel in a Large Group.

The wirst was the Nile cruise! Food was good but service was not good. One night, I could not sleep due to generator noise from another boat. That noise was vibrating my canin. The staff were unable to help and told me the best they can do is give me cotton for my ears, which was very rude.
For several of the boat rides, we had to climb steep, unsafe steps to get into the boat. Many times there was no ramp from land to boat. This is very unsafe for elderly travelers. Especially when no immediate medical help is available. If a aafe environment can’t provided, please do not offer the service.

We enjoyed our Cairo by Night excursion -we had no idea how big and busy the City was. We underestimated the heat at the Great Pyramids, but Max took care of us and helped me when I struggled with the warm temps. We enjoyed each site and especially enjoyed meeting our tour group. Each detail and transfer were handled professionally and smoothly. Aswan and the Nubian Village excursion were a highlight as well as the Valley of the Kings and Abu Simbel. The Nile cruise was relaxing and the stay in Hurghada was a like a vacation from our vacation! Don't miss the snorkeling -it is the best we have seen in the world! A big thank you to Max -best tour guide ever, Michael, Mohammed in Aswan and "the Rock." One suggestion would be to let guests know in advance the cost of all the entrance fees -we had to scramble a couple of times to the ATM when we underestimated the fees. A small detail, but a really considerate suggestion would be to get a printed itinerary upon arrival. Our tour order was changed last minute and we got a little mixed up as to what places we would be seeing each day. This was a second tour, but probably not the last with this company.

Angel with TourRadar was an absolute dream helping to facilitate getting the travel documents needed and the itinerary arranged. Michael made arrival extremely streamlined and stress-free at the airport. He arrived with a good attitude and a great sense of humor. The trip was made so memorable by our wonderful Egyptologist Max. Throughout the entire tour he was friendly patient and more than informative of all the temples tombs and sites. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable, but he was also the point person for all the arrangements that were made with our tour group. There were 12 of us total and every couple had different itineraries and add-ons that he navigated throughout the entire trip. As I said do not hesitate to book with TourRadar or vacations to go. He is helpful, knowledgable, intelligent, and kind. The only negatives were the spectacularly early pickups for flight to Aswan (1:30 a.m.), and the Hot Air Balloon Ride (4:30 a.m.). For the balloon ride, we were taken by car to a boat, and had to spend time on the boat (after boarding with a dangerous dock and ramp) listening to a sales pitch for a video. We would have appreciated the extra sleep, as the tour is packed-full, and we were very tired at the end of the day. The balloon ride itself was magnificent. Seeing Hatshepsut's temple and the Nile river valley from the balloon was fantastic. The Nile River Cruise was very nice - excellent accommodations and food. Everything went smoothly with transfers, but be warned - the Cairo airport has problems with cargo. We had to wait over an hour for our bags on arrival, but worse yet, our plane sat on the ground for two hours before take-off because of a "cargo problem". Consequently, we missed our connection to the United States, and were stuck overnight in Milan. We had purchased business class seats, but Egypt Air was not able to find us a flight the next day on business class, so we flew home in Economy Plus. Now we have to hassle with the airlines to get reimbursed for the difference.

The trip with many excursions is intensive, so you have to be in good condition. But there are also moments to relax such as the cruise on the Nile with luxury cruise ship Chateau de Lafayette, the stay in the all inclusive resort Mercure in Hurghada. All together an unforgettable tour, very well organised. Our opinion of Egypt, its people and heritages has changed a lot. We defintely will come back.

It was a very good trip. Unfortunately the hiccup we had of the Corona virus scare in luxor. Therefore we didnt continue with our trip to hurghada. We returned to Cairo.

First, we stayed at a very nice hotel in Cairo (Steigenberger). Met at the airport by Michael, who helped us through the customs process at the airport and got us to our hotel late at night. Next day the tour started. Our guide, Maged, was excellent, an egyptologist who also expertly managed our full itinerary. There were several early mornings, 4-5 am, but we came to be busy, not relax. The sight visits were much better thanks to having an expert guide along. (after the trip, we stayed an extra day to visit pyraimids at saqqarra and dashur. Without a guide, the experience was not as informative, but still great. I recommend going into the red pyramid.)
Definitely pay for the extra trip to Abel Simbel (long bus ride after early morning wake up, but worth it) and the balloon ride over Luxor.
This is not a luxury trip, and we did not view it that way. Thus we were pleasantly surprised by the accomodations and care from the VacationsToGo crew. The food was Egyptian, and a bit of a challenge for my 17 year-old. The bus used to transport us 4 hours to Hurghada and 6 hours to Cairo was small and cramped. These are the only downsides, which all in our group handled with good humor.
If you want luxury, go elsewhere. If you want good value, to see most of the fantastic historical sites in Egypt, this is the tour.

We did a day trip to Alexandria which was a bit of a disappointment but not due to the tour organisers, the city just looked like a massive rubbish dump. All in all, a great trip, well organised, packed with unbelievable wonders of the ancient world. As a suggestion, maybe a review of the places where lunch is served during the itinerary (Luxor and Alexandria for instance). The Nile cruise was great, however, while the internet was free the receptionist tried to make a side buck by selling the 1 GB with US$5. Ask to see the value of the voucher on the coupon.

We were worried that we may be carrying them. And fortunately it looks like we are not.This really affected our trip. We got bitten really bad , the redness, and the itching was very unpleasant.
Also, one of our flights ( Luxor to Cairo) was changed without any warning. 4 of us had to stay at the Luxor airport for 10 hours before we were able to get into a flight.
We will be reviewing this hotel online for people to avoid getting into it

The Cruise ship was nice but not safety conscience. Not sure if Max informed you about the accident my wife had on their elevator where she could have been seriously injured. While pushing my wife's wheel chair into the elevator it started going up pinning her wheelchair half in the elevator and half still on the ground. We had to make sudden decisions and we pulled her out in time before she hit the roof. Her wheelchair fell down along with my wife from ceiling height to the ground. Luckily she got away with bruises. Case was reported to my Medical Travel Insurance. Wheelchair suffered some damage in the fall.

Maged Max our tour guide was very detailed in all our excursions. We learned a lot about the
pyramids and the other sites we visited. it involved a lot of walking and we handled it

The guide Max was great. He kept track of everyone and all our needs. As we learned from Max keep you left foot forward when facing anything important in Egypt.
