Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakech
You'll land at Marrakech Airport and head to your hotel to settle in for the night. If your flight gets in early enough, there's time to walk through the old medina and check out Djamaa El Fna square, where you'll find the narrow winding streets that make up this historic part of the city.

- Day 2
Marrakech to Ouarzazate - Roses Valley - Dades Valley
You'll cross the High Atlas Mountains through Tizi n'Tichka Pass, heading toward Ait Benhaddou where you can walk through the UNESCO heritage village known for its kasbah architecture and movie filming locations. From there, continue to Ouarzazate, Morocco's film production center, then drive through the Roses Valley where Damaskina roses grow throughout the region. You'll arrive in Boumalne Dades for the night.

- Day 3
Dades Valley to Toudra Gorge - Erfoud - Merzouga
Head east toward the Sahara, passing the Toudra Gorges, which rivals the Grand Canyon in scale and drama. The route takes you to Erfoud, known for its fossils and fossilized marble deposits. After lunch in Rissani (cost on your own), you'll transfer to camels and ride across the sand dunes to reach a Berber camp in the Sahara where you'll sleep overnight.

- Day 4
Merzouga to Fes
Following breakfast and a shower at the Berber camp, you'll drive through Errachidia and into the Ziz Valley, which is lined with thousands of date palm trees on both sides. Then you'll cross through the High and Middle Atlas Mountains that form the barrier between the Sahara and Morocco's interior regions. By evening, you'll reach Fes, the country's oldest capital, where you'll stay the night.

- Day 5
Fes
A guided tour takes you through Fes, the oldest and largest medieval city in the world. You'll walk the medina's narrow streets, navigable only by donkeys and bikes, seeing dye-pits, tanneries, pottery workshops, and eating spots along the way. Later that evening, you'll experience traditional Moroccan entertainment with live music, belly dancing, and magicians performing at a local venue.

Fes to Chefchaouen
After breakfast, drive south toward Chefchaouen, the blue city tucked in the Rif Mountains near the Mediterranean. You'll wander through the medina with its distinctive white and blue-washed buildings, check out local handicraft markets, and find great photo spots of the town and mountain surroundings. Dinner is at your own cost at a local restaurant.

Chefchaouen - Rabat - Casablanca
You'll travel south to Rabat, Morocco's official capital, for a guided tour that covers the Royal Palace, Hassan Tower, and Oudaya Kasbah. Then head on to Casablanca, the country's economic center, where you'll spend the night.
