Stop at Volubilis on your way to Fes (3 hours). One traveler notes: "Get a guide at Volubilis - the Roman ruins make little sense without context." Spend a full day in Fes exploring the medina with a local guide. Visit the tanneries early morning to avoid the strong midday smells. The Batha area makes a great base for medina exploration.

- Day 6
Desert Experience
The long drive to Merzouga (7+ hours) takes you through the Atlas Mountains. A practical tip: "Pack motion sickness pills for the winding roads. The sunset camel ride feels rushed - request an early arrival to fully enjoy it." Pack warm layers for your desert camp night as temperatures drop significantly.

What people love about 10-day Morocco tours
- Morocco Tours 10 Days Tour From Casablanca
Our Morocco tour was a wonderful way to discover the country’s diverse landscapes, culture, and history. From the vibrant streets of Casablanca and Rabat to the blue streets of Chefchaouen, the historic medina of Fes, the beautiful landscapes of Midelt, and the magical Sahara Desert in Merzouga, every destination offered something special. We were very pleased with the accommodation throughout the journey. The hotels and riads were carefully selected to provide comfort and a pleasant experience, while the luxury desert camp in Merzouga was one of the highlights of the trip. The itinerary was well organized, combining guided visits to Morocco’s most important historical sites with scenic drives through the Atlas Mountains and the desert. It was a great opportunity to experience Morocco’s culture, architecture, hospitality, and breathtaking landscapes in one journey.
- Totally Morocco Tour from Casablanca
Our 10 days of the Totally Moroccan tour provided a unique insight of Morocco, which included Casablanca, Tangier, Chefchauoen, Rabat, Fez, Merzough Desert, Kasbah, and Marrakesh. Each location showed influences from different parts of the world, allowing us to truly understand the diversity of Morocco. The entire tour is not fast-paced, however there is ample time for breaks and dining. If you are vegetarian, it will be difficult to find a variety of food in some of these locations, limited to couscous, tagine, and salad. We were provided with a 4* hotel at every location with only one location (Kasbah) that was subpar. Keep in mind this location is secluded so don't expect a surplus of amenities. Each location came with a tour guide that was well versed with the local area. The last 4-5 days we spent a lot of our time with our splendid driver, Mustapha. He is very considerate, kind, sweet, and very informative as well. We visited many scenic areas where he would stop for a couple of minutes to take some photos before starting up again. This trip has been truly memorable and we thank the Totally Moroccan tour for the package they have put together. Thanks, Skyefami
- Totally Morocco Tour from Tangier
We had a hiccup in the beginning for transfer from the airport to the hotel upon arrival. The promised transport was not available and it needed multiple phone calls and a wait of 50 minutes for the transport to arrive. Apart from this, the trip was very good, the arrangements as promised, the vehicles as requested and promised and the personnel with the travel agency easily reachable and responsive. Both Amira and Mariem were on the ball, though our contact was more with Samira as she was supposedly on the day shift during our visit. Would recommend this agency, without hesitation.
