  Overall the tour was great as we got to see and do lots but the mini bus used most of the days did not cool right. It was extremely hot at times inside and even leaked all over at the very back one day onto people sitting in the last row. A few of the days the guides taking us around the medinas/market places could have cut down the time we walked around and around seeing vendors that had a lot of the same stuff and only taking us to places they wanted us to go to. Also, guides not telling us ahead of time that certain restaurants we were brought to didn't accept credit cards only cash. The camel ride out to the desert was very unique and glad that I did it (once). I enjoyed meeting the other tourists that were on the tour with us. My husband and I got to meet people from Australia, Canada, UK/Spain, Kenya, and other U.S. citizens. Morocco is a place I never thought I'd ever see so I'm glad I did get a chance to see some of the best areas there and will always remember this trip!!Show more

  Morocco is a large vibrant county and we enjoyed our visit. The business model used by Discover Morocco means we joined various smaller groups for parts of the tour - sometimes 6 people, sometimes 20. Each location we were met with a local guide, who led us around their city. Unfortunately, the guides have their own programme, so we were repeatedly taken to aromatherapy coops and carpet sellers, having seen and heard the information previously. At the 5th aromatherapy stop, we had to protest - surely in this wonderful country there is more to see! The distances travelled are vast - 7.5 hours of driving plus stops across the Atlas’s mountains to reach the Sahara was undertaken in an Iveco van with limited legroom for taller passengers and air conditioning that maintained the cabin temperature at 30 degrees celcius. The food, with one exception was very bland. The tour is advertised as active, so we expected to walk, climb stairs and traverse rough terrain. Many of our fellow travellers found these conditions difficult, which left us wondering why they had booked. Am I glad I have visited Morocco? Yes, of course.Show more

  This tour could have been great, rather than just okay. My major complaint was lack of communication and details about the itinerary. For example, we didn’t get to go to the ruins in Volubilis because they only accepted cash. Had we known, we could have been better prepared. Once we met up with our group and guide on day 3, things were a little bit better.Show more

  This was a great tour that exceeded our expectations. Just be aware that some of the drives to other destinations are up to 5 hours. Also the camel ride in the safari was 2hrs too long and we spent little time in the safari. The staff there were very rude and non empathetic especially when we were so thirsty after the camel ride. It would be lovely if there was more communication about what was to come next. For example if we had known the camel ride was 2 hours we would have taken water. Other than that our driver was very nice and always helpful.Show more

  As many other reviewers have noted, the first 3 days of this tour were a bit of a challenge. We thought we would be part of a small group tour, but for the first 3 days we were alone, with just emails &/or WhatsApp notifications arriving in the evening telling us what to expect the next day - which we found to be somewhat stressful. To be fair, all of the drivers showed up on time every time, but we still had an unexpected amount of free time each day and no suggestions as to things to do or see. For the first 3 days the driver's keep changing, and truly are just driving you to the various locations, then handing you over to a city guide to tour the various locations (usually just the old towns (medinas)). Once we arrived in Casablanca, and met our driver/guides Zouhir and Lahcine, the tour congealed. Each day they went over the plan and stops for the day, and gave us the information we would need for the next morning each evening. We met our other travel companions, and the tour ran much smoother, and without any undue stress for the duration.Show more

  Your brochure indicated the age of 0 to 99. I am well within that range. We did a lot of walking and I understand that the tourist need to see the various market and soups, but most of it was very similar to the previous town experience good except man is often the same. The hotels were very nice and our guide was excellent. I would recommend this tour to anybody. It was a very enjoyable tour unfortunately, the prices for the restaurants was quite higher than the Your company put in for the last two days. I understand when it gets hot in Morocco. You probably don’t have as many in the winter time. That’s why I feel the prices for the meals on the road were excessive. I paid approximately half at this luxury hotel then I did in route to the destinations. Again, I would definitely recommend this tour, but I think you should think about the quality of the food that we are served on the road, while traveling to the new destinationShow more

  Although we were initially unaware that we were to have many different guides and drivers throughout our tour, once we questioned it and it was explained to us, then it worked well. The communication and prompt responses from admin were much appreciated. Special mention to our guide into the Atlas/Sahara region for five days, Tariq, and driver, Ismail. Also our Fez guide, Said, plus our Ait Ben Haddou guide, Baba (we think that was his name) were fantastic. Thanks to all concerned for a great trip 🇲🇦Show more
