We absolutely fell in love with Moroccan food, and the people were so friendly. Spending extra nights in Marrakesh at the start of the tour gave us the chance to really explore the city and even enjoy a hot air balloon ride. A lunch at Majorelle Garden is a must, and it’s best to avoid the touristy restaurants along the way.
Yes, there are some long drives between cities, but it’s all worth it—it’s the only way to truly see Morocco. If you can, extend your stays here and there to rest and soak it all in.

We started in Marrakech, enjoying its vibrant culture and lively markets. We then headed through stunning scenery including Ait Benhaddou, Ouarzazate and the breathtaking Rose and Dades valleys. The scenic beauty continued as we explored the Toudra Gorge and the desert town of Merzouga. Later, we moved on to Fes, known for its rich history and culture, and then visited the charming blue city of Chefchaouen. Finally, the tour concluded with stops in Rabat and Casablanca. All in all, it was a fantastic experience that offered a perfect blend of Morocco's varied landscapes and rich cultural heritage.

The camel ride through the Sahara is incredible, especially at sunset. Fès immerses us in history with its souks and medieval alleyways, while Chefchaouen, the blue city, is the perfect ending. An unforgettable trip, full of discovery and charm!

I recommend arriving in Marrakech a day early to explore its bustling souks and historic sites like Jardin Majorelle. After the tour ends in Casablanca, staying an extra night allows you to visit landmarks such as the Hassan II Mosque.

We signed up for a group tour and ended up with just the two of us. Mustapha is very knowledgeable and Hussein was a great driver and both were so nice to spend the week with. Some of the travel days in the van were quite long but we had plenty of photo or snack stops. And the scenery is spectacular.
Riad Rhiana was exceptional. The room was lovely and the food was incredible.
The visit to the Sahara was a highlight as was the camel ride and watching the sunset and sunrise over the dunes. The Berber performers by the fire was a great end of the day.
With two nights in Fes, staying in a riad at the entrance to the Médina was a bit limiting for after dinner walks when paying attention to the warnings.
Chefchaouen was worth the drive. So picturesque. The hotel was quirky but well located.
I would absolutely recommend this tour for a first time visitor to Morocco. We added a night before the tour and the El Andalous with the enormous pool was great to get rid of the jet lag. And Marrakech is worth the extra time.
