What is the baggage allowance for the best of Asia tour?

The baggage allowance on our trips is 20kg as standard. If you planned to bring more we could see what we can do and potentially find a way for you to increase your limit. We'd need to check with our Ops team and find out the necessary fees associated.

Could you help me understand what has happened with the booking cost.

The discounted price is 'from' which is just on selected dates. I can confirm that the 23rd November trip is at the standard price and unfortunately not on sale via Tour Radar.

I would book it as double room for single use. I am a performance athlete, but above the age recommendation, is that an issue?

We do offer a private room upgrade travellers with their own double/twin room and this is £1000 extra for the full 29 Day trip. As much as we would love for you to join us, we must remain faithful to our target audience and existing customer base. We have customers who are young students and gap year backpackers eager to join others on their first-ever solo adventure. It would be unfair for us to accept bookings from travellers outside of the 18-39 age range that we set for our groups.

Is there any chance to get a discount for the tour in February? Do you already know how many bookings you babe for this tour?

The discounted pricing is actually for early bird bookings that book 10-12 months ahead of time. You'll find that most of our 2024 dates are at the standard rate. To be honest we are actually increasing our pricing again from tomorrow. From the 1st December the Best of Asia trip will be £2549 (British pounds Sterling).

I am very very interested is this trip. I was told I would have to ask for an exception to to age. I just turned 40 in May but the mix of adventure, night life and culture seems like the vibe for me. I was hoping I could book this trip with you. Thoughts?

We do ask TourRadar to ensure customers outside of our 18-39 target audience get in touch before they book to ensure the trip is right for them. But as you're 40 we have no problem with you joining us. Our 26 Nov Best of Asia trip actually on has 2 spots left so I recommend booking your spot ASAP to avoid any disappointment.

I'm just wondering about the cancellation policy on this tour? I'm really interested in going however would like to know if there's any situations whereby you can cancel as a result from Covid with travel restrictions etc?

We run a completely flexible date change policy so if the trip didn't go ahead because of COVID or another reason you could change your date for free as many times as you want.

What an incredible 15 days!! ? This is my second solo trip but my first with Feel Free and I would 100% recommend Feel Free over the other company. Everything was well organised making it very stress-free. There were so many things planned for us each day (you don’t have to do it if you don’t want to). Met a bunch of fantastic people that have become very good friends ?. Jamie is a fantastic, sassy, feet loving ?? tour leader and I loved that we bonded so well over the 2 weeks. He is very experienced and was able to answer any and all questions that any of us had. He made everyone feel very comfortable and connected with each person individually. I’d certainly want him to be my tour leader again for my next tour (Yes, I loved it so much that I already booked my next trip #Bali) All in all, it was an amazing trip where I made so many memories and laughed until my belly hurt. What a trip of a lifetime and memories I will treasure forever! My tour guides in Thailand were Tia and Charlotte (Tia being the main guide and it was also her first tour and she was a natural!) Instantly I felt so comfortable and looked after. Solo travelling can be quite daunting but I felt so at ease. The accommodation, activities and everything included were amazing and so worth the money. For my Vietnam trip I had Jack and Gabs (Jack being the main tour guide) and their vibes were impeccable. Feel Free do know how to choose their guides!! It was well organised, we were constantly given updates and told everything we needed to know about where we were going and our plans for our next travels. I have made friends for life on these trips and would recommend to anyone who wants to go travelling but doesn’t want to worry about where to go/doing it by themselves. It was a stress free experience and you really do get to see so much in just 29 days. I can confirm I have the travel bug and this has given me the confidence to go solo travelling again in the future :) thank you to all the amazing people and guides who have made this the best trip ever!!!!Show more

Had an unreal time on the best of Asia trip. From Thai islands of phi phi to the crazy streets of Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam, everywhere we went was beautiful and had a perfect mix of activities and free time. You’ll never run out of things to do as the itinerary is brilliant. Group leaders were both amazing people and took care of the group in every way they could. Wouldn’t have been the same without them. I’d highly recommend as a group or solo traveler as you’ll meet friends for life. 10/10 all round one of the best experiences in my life!Show more

You will experience things you never thought you would, stay in stunning and unique places and make amazing and likeminded friends. Don’t be nervous about doing it solo, you will make friends as soon as you step off that plane! Both the Thailand and Vietnam trip have a perfect balance of time to experience the culture, to party, to relax and to explore the stunning places which you will visit. You will love the big experiences like meeting elephants, Thai boxing, Ha Long Bay and driving over the beautiful sand dunes. But my favourite moments were times when we were all belly laughing in a tuk tuk, having deep chats with people who you feel like you’ve know for years, riding a bike (and getting lost ;) through rice fields and meeting local people who welcomed us and showed unbelievable kindness. Also, special shout out to Sammy and his cooking class, as exceeding all my expectations: I felt like we were visiting a friend and I learnt so much. Speaking of amazing people… Jamie and Jonny are an absolute credit to the company. They both have so much knowledge and cultural awareness about the country that they are in and they were always there to support and guide us, whilst still feeling like a part of the group. I feel very lucky to have been a part of both of their tours. Mat and Adam started this company out of a pure love and a passion for travel and it really shows in every last detail of the trips. We were lucky enough to spend time with Mat in Vietnam and we know from speaking to him, that an activity or accommodation does not appear on the trip until they have visited and confirmed the quality and that it is ethical. I cannot thank them enough for their hard work and determination to make their trips incredible. One of the best experiences with these guys, we had Jamie as our guide and she was so incredibly amazing with each one of us, she always made sure everyone of us was okay and took the time if we ever needed anything, and she's just such a lovely person, legend!! I never expected to do as many things as we done, it was sooo fun! There's so much included! Solo but not solo 29 Days Best of Asia Trip! I can’t thank Feel Free enough for the incredible month I have had travelling Thailand and Vietnam this summer! The tours are very well thought through. They have the perfect combination of cultural immersion (such as cooking classes, lantern making workshops and informative walking tours with local guides); active days including hikes to see beautiful views and temples; rest days at postcard-looking beaches/pools whilst sipping on coconut water; and fun nights out filled with dancing, cocktails and good times. All of the activities are also optional if you ever feel like taking some time to yourself or fancy something else! The accommodation we were staying in honestly surpassed all of my expectations (fantastic pools, spacious rooms and conveniently located). Special mention to the overnight trains that made all of us bond and were a lot of fun. The activities like the muay thai class, canoeing in national parks, cruising on a boat in Ha Long Bay (and many more) made the trips amazing but what really made them unforgettable were the little things: looking at the stars in the pool at night, connecting with locals along the way, trying different food you see at the markets, impromptu rain showers during bike rides and laughing with your newly made friends on tuk tuks. A very special thank you to Jamie, Jonny and Mat who felt more like friends than tour guides whilst still being incredibly professional and making sure that everyone was having a great time/feeling safe. Finally, probably the best part of all were the people in our group: we met as strangers and finished the trip as friends already planning to meet up again. If you’re looking at these reviews trying to decide if a Feel Free trip is for you, this is your sign to book it and to get ready for the adventure of a lifetime! Visa
- Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
- Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
Payment information
- For any tour departing before July 8th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 8th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Feel Free Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Feel Free Travel will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Feel Free Travel" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
Cancellation Policy
- Your money is safe with TourRadar, as we only pay the tour operator after your tour has departed.
- TourRadar is an authorized Agent of Feel Free Travel. Please familiarize yourself with the Feel Free Travel payment, cancellation and refund conditions.
