All guides and representatives were knowledgeable, courteous, and extremely helpful—especially Ibrahim, our Luxor and Aswan guide, who was truly outstanding and went above and beyond, even assisting with matters on the cruise. Egypt is an enchanting destination, made even more memorable thanks to the excellent VacationsToGo travel team.

The service was friendly, professional and very supportive. Michael in Cairo and Ibrahim in Luxor/Aswan were guides extraordinaire. Both were knowledgeable and passionate, both were constantly on the look out for the best opportunity for us. I thoroughly enjoyed their company and kindnesses. They brought Egypt alive for us and we now have precious memories thanks to them. Ibrahim is definitely the rock star of the south! Thank you.

They were incredibly knowledgeable and went the extra mile to show us hidden treasures. It was clear that they had a love and passion for Egyptian history which worked well for us! They also catered to our specific interests such as nightime visits to temples, sacred areas in churches and temples, shopping for authentic handicraft or experiencing the local cuisine.
I also recommend the hot air balloon adventure!
The hotel accomodation and Nile cruise ship were top class, all the staff were very friendly.
Food everywhere was varied and exquisite!
The flights and bookings were well managed by the company representative Michael, who always had a smile on his face was keen to make sure all flows smoothly.
All in all we had a great time and if you really want to experience true Egypt with its rich culture, history and friendly people I would recommend this tour in a heartbeat. For that we are incredibly thankful to all the team and for sure we shall return to Egypt!

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and appreciated the transparency from the beginning, with no surprises. The tour price was excellent, although the optional tours were a bit pricey and mandatory…Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and appreciated the transparency from the beginning, with no surprises. The tour price was excellent, although the optional tours were a bit pricey and mandatory, constituting essential highlights of the experience. I'm glad I didn't miss out on any of them. Our tour guide, Ibrahim, was exceptional—knowledgeable, helpful, and informative. We learned a great deal about ancient Egyptian life and history from him. Be prepared to cover entrance fees and tipping costs. Vacations To Go Travel didn't collect tips in advance due to our small group size of three. Instead, they provided a tipping sheet outlining who to tip and the price range. It's something to budget for, as we ended up paying almost USD 250 in total for tipping and approximately USD 130 per person for entrance fees for the entire tour and optional tours. The entrance fees for the optional tours did not cover the entry tickets either. There were numerous shopping stops along the way, with some bazaars offering reasonable prices while others were quite expensive. The quality of food on the Nile cruise could be improved, but overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the tour and have no complaints.

Then, in Jordan, Fady led us through Petra with stories that made the place come alive.
And oh, Ibrahim, our guide on the Nile cruise, was not just great but hilarious too! He had this knack for putting a smile on our faces every day. These guys didn't just show us around; they turned the whole tour into a personal, unforgettable journey. If you're into trips filled with history, heart, and awesome guides, this is the one to pick!

Our tour guides were all really good and flexible when needed! We were met at the airport each time we flew. Our hotels were all good. The Nile Cruise was not “5 star”, but a nice way to visit the Nil…Our tour guides were all really good and flexible when needed! We were met at the airport each time we flew. This is a great way to visit so many interesting sites that we have only ever heard of.

Michael, our transfer man, was fantastic at getting us everywhere on time. We NEVER had a worry about checking in to our hotels, train or cruise ship thanks to the Vacations To Go team. Our two tour guides, Tamir and Ibrahim, were beyond wonderful with their knowledge of the historical sites we saw and their hospitality in sharing their country's rich history. Our personal favorite experience was the Nile Cruise. The staff, accommodations and food made for a memorable experience. Combined with the amazing temples in Luxor, Edfu, Kom Ombo and Aswan, the Nile Cruise is a memory we will always cherish. If there was a bleak spot in the trip, it would have to be our stay in Hurghada. The resort we stayed at was very run down, and with Covid-19 restrictions in place, the poor state of the resort was even more noticeable. It's website states that it is a four star resort. We later found out that this is the equivalent to a two star resort in the United States. We did however make our time in Hurghada worth while with our two snorkeling trips. We would highly recommend Vacations To Go and can't wait to book our next trip to Egypt!

There was always someone to meet us and guide us through every process and the transport was comfortable and the drivers safe, smooth and yet appropriately speedy. And that is "VACATIONS TO GO!" They have my absolute fealty. Even before the tour begins VACATIONS TO GO is completely engaging, cordial, caring,helpful at every step of the process. Making one feel way more than just a client and customer satisfaction and experience is the number one concern. Any questions submitted or asked were duly responded to right away. My most recent travel with was Egypt and soon as I stepped off the plane and made it into the airport was I welcomed and waiting was my reception person Michael, whom I might add has one of the greatest personalities and a spirit that is totally service based. Totally makes sure you are taken care of from bags, visa, to getting through passport clearance and safely to lodging. VACATIONS TO GO truly has the best tour guide via a man named Ibrahim. Whenever I am in Egypt with VACATIONS TO GO, I request him, his knowledge base is vast and his heart is even bigger. The respect and admiration Ibrahim puts into his detail is way beyond call of duty and the respect and admiration he receives from his peers and others who are tour guides is just mind blowing. Ibrahim has to be on top 5 for tour guides for Egypt. I enjoyed my trip to Egypt with VACATIONS TO GO and was even able to go to some sites that were not part of my initial itinerary such as Temple of Kalapsha which requires government or military approval and Dashur was added. My lodging was excellent from Aswan, Cairo, Luxor, it was nothing but 5 star lodging with most meals included. And one driver named Mahmoud who I have met couple years ago is just an exceptional driver and a great man. This tour was great! And I appreciate the new people I was able to meet and work with on this tour such as Ahmad who welcomed me in Aswan and checked in on me daily, and tour guide referred to as Benboe.
I am way more than happy with VACATIONS TO GO and can't wait to plan my next tour with them.

Specifically, the Safir hotel in Cairo and th…The tour was absolutely amazing. It was probably our best vacation ever. My only criticism is related to some of the hotels that were part of the tour. Specifically, the Safir hotel in Cairo and the Grand Court in Jerusalem. All of the other booked accommodations were great. While the lobbies of both the Safir and Grand Court hotels are beautiful, the rooms are quite old and tired. The bathrooms are definitely in need of renovation.
Apart from the above, our vacation was great. The itinerary and tour guides / drivers were awesome. We did book a private tour guide for Nazareth which was not required and is a waste of money.

This Egyptian tour was absolutely amazing. We had two amazing tour guides. Max for Cario and Alexandria. Ibrahim Elmonir for Luxor and Aswan. They were absolutely wonderful and very knowledgeable!

We upgraded our rooms and the Sheraton had a great breakfast buffet. Additionally the food on the cruise was also very good! No complaints :)
The only thing I would add as odd would be the places we stopped to view retail products. Carpets, perfumes, papyrus paper, alabaster, spices. Although their is no requirement to buy anything it’s sometimes difficult to turn down. Although I did at a few locations because it wasn’t of interest. Also if you do want to buy ensure you barter no matter where you are. Just do it if you are interested in purchasing items.
Additionally, I have to give a special shout out to the amazing tour we had while in Luxor from Ibrahim. We went to Karnak and were able to see some off the beaten path gems!!!
By the end of the tour I felt like apart of the vacations to go family. Definitely a trip I will not forget. Thank you!
