Yes, when booking your tour, request 1 x double room and 1 x twin room. A double room has one double bed and a twin room has two single beds.

What is the location in Galway for the last stop at the end of the 5-day tour? I will arrange accommodations in that area and need to consider the convenience of carrying bags, with no need to return to Dublin.

Are there any interesting less active options for a traveler who doesn't ride bikes, do kayaking, or undertake long hikes?

You can pick your room type after your select your date, we do have twin rooms as an option.

Will lodging places have restaurants on premises?

Some hotels will have a restaurant or bar onsite, though not all. If you are wanting to stay in a property with a restaurant on site, then I would recommend booking the Hotel package (not the B&B package), and send us a message at the time of booking to request properties with a restaurant attached if possible. This kind of request isn't guaranteed, as it will depend on the availability with hotels during your chosen dates; but if you choose the Hotel package the property will be centrally located and within walking distance of local restaurants. Breakfast will be included at either property type (B&B or Hotel), and there will be a dedicated lunch stop each day as well.

I want to be sure I have selected the right accommodations. Can you let me know what the options are for Bed and Breakfast?

We don't give options for customers to choose from for the accommodation. You can choose between B&B or Hotel, and then we book the property accordingly. We work with a number of providers in the overnight locations, and the property you are booked into will depend on our availability of allocated rooms during the dates of your tour.

We had a wonderful time on our tour of Ireland! Our guide Matthew was a wealth of information. He had a great playlist featuring Irish artists and he was really funny. We lucked out and had plenty of sunshine which made the tour extra special. There were 11 of us + Matthew, and that was a good size. This experience cured me of the travel bug. Never again. The most "memorable" part, sadly, was the constant stream of profanity from our tour bus driver/guide. He seemed quite knowledgeable of the various site's history and legends, but would then tell us it was all #*&%(@&*@* nonsense. He also drove like a maniac over extremely narrow, bumpy terrain. My companion's smart watch registered 90 minutes of vigorous exercise from our seat at the back of the bus on just one leg of the trip. This would have been fun when I was a child, but as a senior adult, not so much. As for the tour, your information pages state that "entry fees to visitor attractions unless specified" are not included in the package price. That's fine except you do not say that some places require electronic payment, some places require cash and some places require coin only payments. The driver spoke very quickly and gave dining recommendations at various stops in the middle of other information and would say, "give them a google and make reservations", then carry on at rapid fire pace and expect us to remember all of it! When we returned to the bus one morning he asked if we'd brought the maps that he'd given us on the day before, and then cussed us all when none of us remembered him telling us to bring the map. I could go on. One last thing, I did not expect to see all of Ireland in 5 days, but I did expect to have a bit more time that 5 - 10 minutes for a "pop out for a photo and on we go". Perhaps fewer stops with a few more moments to breath between rollercoaster rides would be better. The saving grace of a bad experience is that it makes a much better story than a good one. Must find the rainbow in all things.Show more
