    Asked on August 5th, 2026

VERY interested in this tour, hoping you get back to me ASAP. I found this tour AFTER booking the Skellig michaels tour on the 20th (8am). is it still possible to do this tour AND the skellig michaels tour on the 20th?? they dont do refunds, unfortunately.

    Tour Details
    • Rabbie’s Small Group ToursOperatorWritten August 2026

On Day 4 of the tour (20th August), the tour arrives at the Skellig Experience Visitor Centre at around 1.00pm and departs from there at 1.45pm, so a boat tour to Skellig Michael would not be possible, I'm afraid.

If you are still interested in our tour, we currently have 2 seats left for the departure on 17th August.

  • M

    Monique

    Asked on August 5th, 2026

Me and my +1 are very interested in this, however we booked the Skellig Michael tour on the 20th, can we still do both?

    Tour Details
    • Rabbie’s Small Group ToursOperatorWritten August 2026

Have you booked the experience that spends 2.5 hours on Skellig Michael? You would be welcome to take the tour and miss the planned itinerary Day 4 to do your own thing and re join the tour on Day 5, this would be absolutely fine. We would just ask you let your driver-guide know of your plans on Day 1 of the tour. You would have to make your own way to and from Portmagee (depending on the time your Skellig Michael tour departs at), so I would recommend researching this in advance.

  • S

    Sophie

    Asked on July 24th, 2026

My son and I are traveling together and would prefer twin rooms if possible, as opposed to sharing a double bed. We are both tall, so sharing a bed is going to be quite uncomfortable. Please let me know what options we have.

    Accommodation
  • L

    Leanne

    Asked on July 13th, 2026

Our luggage is larger than your bus parameters and we are wondering if it is possible to put our belongings into smaller, soft-sided duffle bags for the bus tour and store our empty, hard-sided luggage during the tour and then retrieve it after the tour is over? If so what are the storage options and how do we go about setting this up?

    Transport
    • Rabbie’s Small Group ToursOperatorWritten July 2026

There is limited space on our mini-coaches so luggage is restricted. Each passenger is entitled to one 20kg bag, plus one small bag for personal items:
      - Your main luggage must not exceed 55cm x 45cm x 25cm (22in x 17in x 10in) in size or 20kg (44lbs) in weight. This should be one piece of luggage similar to an airline cabin bag.
      - A small bag for personal items such as a handbag, purse or small backpack. This should be small enough to fit under a standard airline seat.

We wish we could let you carry more, but this is a legal requirement in place for your safety. We can refuse to carry luggage over these limits, and you may not be allowed onboard if you've not stored your excess baggage.

Please ensure you can lift and carry your own luggage without assistance. Unfortunately we're not able to accommodate larger or heavier bags, please ensure you pack accordingly or store excess baggage prior to departure.

When travelling with another person, if you want to combine your luggage into one larger, heavier bag, you are welcome to do that. However, it must not exceed the total weight per person combined (40kg/88lbs for two people), and you need to be able to lift this bag in and out of the boot of our mini-coach on your own. Unfortunately, our Driver Guides are unable to help with that. The boot is approximately 1 meter from the ground, so please do make sure this is possible for you and your luggage.

For luggage storage options in Dublin, we recommend stasher.com and radicalstorage.com.

    • L

      Leanne

      TravelerWritten July 2026

if we transfer our personal belongings into soft sided bags that do not technically meet the size parameters but are not full and can be compressed to within the size parameters, is that acceptable for the trip? Essentially what we are thinking of doing is bringing soft sided duffle bags on the bus tour, the dimensions don't exactly match your specifications, however because they do not have structure and would not be full they can be manipulated into the sizes specified when we put them into the coach storage. Does that solution work for the tour luggage parameters?

    • Rabbie’s Small Group ToursOperatorWritten July 2026

Yes, that would work if each duffel (1 per person) can fit within the space of our luggage measurements as long as the duffel doesn't weigh more than 20kg per person.

    Asked on July 7th, 2026

Was wondering if I could get the hotel accommodation details for this trip as well as the BnBs. Also, which entry fees are not included, how much are they and how do we pay?

    Tour Details
    • Rabbie’s Small Group ToursOperatorWritten July 2026

We work with a number of different accommodation providers throughout Ireland, including hotels and B&Bs. Accommodation is allocated based on availability at the time of booking, so we're unable to advise where guests will be staying before the tour has been booked and the accommodation has been arranged.

With regard to attraction admissions, entry to the Cliffs of Moher is included in the tour price.

Any other optional attractions or admissions are not included and can be purchased directly upon arrival if you decide you'd like to visit them. As these admissions are managed by the individual attractions, we recommend checking their websites directly for the most up-to-date prices.

    Asked on April 16th, 2026

If we book separately from our friends, can we be guaranteed to stay in the same accommodations? For the nights in Killarney, will all 3 nights be in the same B&B or hotel? What is the price difference for a hotel vs. B&B accommodations? Any recommendations on places to stay in Dublin? We will arrive 2-3 days before the tour and have a day or two after the tour before we depart for home. Any recommendations on tours to Belfast? We would like to day trip, or possible overnight, in Northern Ireland either before or after this tour.

Unfortunately, if bookings are made separately, we're unable to guarantee that you'll be staying at the same properties. However, if we're informed at the time of booking that you're travelling as a group, we can try to place everyone in the same property where possible.

Generally, all nights in one location are spent at the same property. If this is not the case, you'll be advised in advance.

I've attached a document with some accommodation recommendations in Dublin near our departure point.

Rabbie's doesn't offer any 1-day or 2-day tours to Belfast. We only operate the 5-Day Northern Ireland & Atlantic Coast tour, but you should be able to find suitable alternatives with other operators on TourRadar.
