  Please advise luggage allowance on south west Ireland small group tour August 2026.

    There is limited space on our mini-coaches so luggage is restricted. Each passenger is entitled to one 20kg bag, plus one small bag for personal items:
    
    - Your main luggage must not exceed 55cm x 45cm x 25cm/22in x 17in x 10in in size and 20kg (44lbs) in weight. This should be one piece of luggage similar to an airline cabin bag.
    - A small bag for personal items such as a handbag, purse or small backpack.
    
    Please ensure you can lift and carry your own luggage without assistance. Unfortunately we're not able to accommodate larger or heavier bags, please ensure you pack accordingly or store excess baggage prior to departure.

  Could you please confirm the names of the hotels the traveler is interested in upgrading. Additionally, could you let us know if the B&B offers a private bathroom?

    We book with a number of local hotels, so I can only give you a small sample of the places we use on this tour. Please note we are not able to give a choice of a named hotel. Sample of hotels:
    - In Galway: Western Hotel, HYDE Hotel
    - In Killarney: Fairview Hotel, Arbutus Hotel
    
    Any accommodation we would book, hotel or B&B, would have a private bathroom.
    
    We currently have 3 seats available on this tour departing on 7th June.

  If we book separately from our friends, can we be guaranteed to stay in the same accommodations? For the nights in Killarney, will all 3 nights be in the same B&B or hotel? What is the price difference for a hotel vs. B&B accommodations? Any recommendations on places to stay in Dublin? We will arrive 2-3 days before the tour and have a day or two after the tour before we depart for home. Any recommendations on tours to Belfast? We would like to day trip, or possible overnight, in Northern Ireland either before or after this tour.

    Unfortunately, if bookings are made separately, we're unable to guarantee that you'll be staying at the same properties. However, if we're informed at the time of booking that you're travelling as a group, we can try to place everyone in the same property where possible.
    
    Generally, all nights in one location are spent at the same property. If this is not the case, you'll be advised in advance.
    
    I've attached a document with some accommodation recommendations in Dublin near our departure point.
    
    Rabbie's doesn't offer any 1-day or 2-day tours to Belfast. We only operate the 5-Day Northern Ireland & Atlantic Coast tour, but you should be able to find suitable alternatives with other operators on TourRadar.

  I am interested in booking your tour as a solo traveler and paying the price for single occupancy. I have a friend who is interested in this tour as well, but cannot commit yet. She needs more time to decide. If she decides to join the tour and if there is still room available, could I change my booking to a double occupancy instead and share a room with her?

    If you decide to change your booking, the easiest way to amend capacity would be to cancel your original request and re-book the tour with your preferred accommodation type.

  I am interested in booking this tour in the next couple of days and am willing to pay for the single occupancy. However, my friend who is undecided about this tour needs more time to decide. If there is still space available, would I be able to change from single occupancy to double occupancy once my friend books the tour?

    If you book as a solo traveller and later decide to add another passenger, that shouldn't be a problem, provided there is still availability and we're able to arrange accommodation on your behalf at that time. So it would depend on those factors when your friend makes their decision.
    
    If we're able to accommodate the additional traveller, we can amend your booking accordingly, and you would simply pay the difference in price to have everything confirmed.

  We are seniors & have taken another tour in Italy - last year we went on a river cruise (all thru tourradar. We are seniors and found the tour to fast pace for us but really enjoyed the cruise. Is this trip - 5 days in Ireland - a fast trip? Do you have river cruises from Paris or Porto?

    I have done this tour myself and thoroughly enjoyed it. I didn't think it was too fast-paced at all, we got plenty of time in each location and lots of opportunities to wander. I found it a very lovely and peaceful trip.
    
    I'm afraid we do not do cruise tours.
