Itinerary
- Day 1
Dublin to Galway
You'll leave Dublin heading west through farmland and peat bogs toward Kilbeggan Distillery, where you'll do a whiskey tasting and learn about Irish whiskey production. After that, you'll head to Clonmacnoise abbey sitting on the River Shannon to walk around the historic monastic site. There's lunch at a traditional pub somewhere along the way, then you'll arrive in Galway City for your first night.

- Day 2
Galway to Killarney
Starting early, you'll explore the Burren's distinctive limestone pavements and see rare flora that grows there. From there, you'll visit Kilfenora and its ancient cathedral, then head north to the Cliffs of Moher for walks along the cliff-top and check out the environmental exhibition. Later you'll board a ferry to cross the Shannon Estuary heading south, arriving in Killarney for a three-night stay.

- Day 3
Killarney to Dingle Peninsula
The day focuses on the Dingle Peninsula starting at Inch Beach. You'll drive through the town of Dingle and continue out to Slea Head where you can see the Blasket Islands and ancient forts stretching out before you. Weather permitting, you'll ramble along beaches and cliff tops, then swing back to Dingle for seafood lunch. By evening, you'll head to Killarney National Park for a stroll.

- Day 4
Ring of Kerry
You'll tackle the Ring of Kerry route, driving through valleys and passing towns and villages along the way. Macgillycuddy's Reeks and Carrauntoohil (Ireland's highest mountain at 3,406 feet/1,038 m) come into view as you drive. Portmagee fishing village is where you'll stop for lunch, and from there you can optionally visit Valentia Island and the Skellig Experience. Later you'll see Waterville and Coonmakista Pass for photos, explore Derrynane House and its gardens, then finish the day with views at Moll's Gap and Ladies View before heading back to Killarney.

- Day 5
Killarney to Dublin
You'll drive east through West Cork mountains along the Lee Valley to reach Blarney Castle, where you can kiss the famous Blarney Stone and walk around the castle grounds. After that, you'll head to historic Kinsale for lunch, exploring the colorful harbor and Charles Fort ruins along the water. Before returning to Dublin, you'll visit the Rock of Cashel for free exploration. You'll arrive back in Dublin in the early evening.
