I did the 10 day Egypt and Jordan tour with Travel Chance Egypt and must say they hit it out of the ballpark. I came across this tour package right after my Middle East cruise got canceled due to the US/Iran conflict. I was looking at other places around the world to visit, but had my heart set on visiting Egypt and Jordan as these are stops I would have made on my cruise. From the time I booked my vacation, TCE (Travel Chance Egypt for short) handled everything with precision and efficiency. From the moment I landed in Cairo, they lined up someone to help assist you through customs followed with a driver to take you to your hotel. Since I arrived the day before the actual tour began, I opted for a day tour of Old Cairo, visited the Egyptian Civilization Museum, and some sightseeing. I also added an evening cruise with dinner and entertainment. The following day is when the real tour began and we went to the pyramids, plus visited Grand Egyptian Museum. Mohamed, the tour guide, was wonderful to have during the time I was in Cairo as was Nour the driver. Mohamed was very knowledgeable in Egyptian history. The next segment was Aswan to Luxor where I connected with Peter who was my tour guide. I got to enjoy a Nile cruise for the next three nights where the ship made some stops to visit temples. I also opted to visit the Nubian Village which was a wonderful experience where I got introduced to their culture. Peter shared his knowledge of the temples and Egyptian history and concluded this segment by visiting Karnak Temple. The final segment of my TCE vacation was in Jordan. Like the Egypt arrival, I had someone who greeted me and assisted with customs in Jordan. Then, I had a driver named Mohammed who was my driver during the three days I was in Jordan. While I was in Jordan, I got to visit Jerash, Petra, Citadel, Madaba, Mt. Nebo, and more. I also opted to visit the Dead Sea and swim in the waters. Then, it was time for me to end my vacation with TCE. While I traveled as a solo female, TCE would place me with others on some of the excursion days. I always felt safe with the tour guides and drivers who made my bucket list vacation amazing. This vacation packs so much in so little time!
