Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo
You'll arrive in Cairo and get picked up for a transfer to your hotel. After settling in, head out to explore Downtown Cairo and wander through Islamic Cairo, checking out the mosques and monuments that line El Moez Street. The area has hundreds of years of history packed into these narrow lanes, so plan on spending several hours walking around and taking in the architecture.

- Day 2
Cairo
This is a full day covering several major sites. You'll start at the Giza pyramids, visiting the three main ones: Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. Then you'll ride a camel out in the Sahara Desert before heading to Saqqara to see the first recorded pyramid. After that, you'll check out some noble tombs and wrap up the day in Memphis, the ancient capital. It's a lot to cover, so breakfast early and wear comfortable shoes.

Cairo to Luxor
After breakfast, you'll take a bus to Luxor (flight upgrade available if you prefer). Once there, you'll get transferred to your hotel and meet your guide. Spend the afternoon exploring Luxor's East Bank, starting with the Temple of Karnak complex, which spans over 2000 years of construction. Later, head to Luxor Temple to see the impressive courtyard and the granite statues of Ramses the Great.

- Day 4
Luxor
You'll get up early for a 4:30 AM hot air balloon ride over Luxor's West Bank to catch the sunrise from above. After landing, you'll visit the Colossi of Memnon and explore Hatshepsut Temple. The rest of the day takes you through the Valley of the Kings, where you'll see the tombs of pharaohs carved into the rock. Bring plenty of water and sunscreen for this one.

- Day 5
Luxor to Aswan
You'll drive to the Temple of Horus in Edfu, a Ptolemaic temple that stretches over 140 meters and is really well preserved. Next, head to the Temple of Kom Ombo, which is unique because it's dedicated to two gods, Sobek and Horus, and has a symmetrical layout. Then continue on to Aswan and check into your hotel by evening.

- Day 6
Aswan
After breakfast, visit the High Dam, a massive rock-fill structure that created Lake Nasser. Then take a trip to the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. This temple was actually moved by UNESCO to save it from flooding. You'll head back to the hotel in the afternoon to relax and have a quiet evening.

- Day 7
Aswan to Amman
You'll get transferred to Aswan Airport for your flight to Amman with a connection through Cairo. Once you land in Amman, the team will help you check in at your hotel. This is mostly travel time, so settle in and get ready for the next part of your trip.

Jerash - Petra
This day covers a lot of ground as you move north and south through Jordan. You'll start in Jerash to see the Roman ruins, then return to Amman to explore the Citadel, Umayyad Palace, Byzantine Church, and the Roman Theatre. After that, you'll drive the scenic King's Highway south, stopping in Madaba for the Byzantine mosaic at St. George's, climbing Mt. Nebo for views of the Holy Land, checking out Wadi al-Mujib canyon, and touring Kerak Castle. You'll finish the day arriving in Petra and checking in. There's an optional candlelight tour available if you want to explore more after sunset.

- Day 9
Petra
You'll spend the full day at Petra with a 2-3 hour guided tour through the Siq canyon, then free time to explore on your own. You'll walk past the famous Treasury carved from colorful sandstone and check out tombs and ruins. Optional hikes go up to the Monastery (800+ steps, nice views) and the High Place of Sacrifice. Horse carriages are available for the Siq (around 20 JD or USD 28), and donkeys can help with the Monastery steps. In the afternoon, you'll head to a Wadi Rum Bedouin camp for the night, where you'll have dinner and sleep under the stars.

- Day 10
Wadi Rum to Dead Sea
After breakfast, you'll go on a Jeep safari through Wadi Rum's red desert and mountains, the place made famous by Lawrence of Arabia films. Later, you'll drive north along the Dead Sea, which sits over 400 meters below sea level and is the lowest point on Earth. You'll get to float in the incredibly salty water, which is a strange and fun experience. The landscape here is both beautiful and spiritually significant as a Biblical location.

Dead Sea to Departure
