Are there issues with traveling to Egypt and Jordan from the USA during the Iran conflict? I am interested in visiting and am a solo female.

In general, Egypt is very safe and welcomes thousands of tourists every day. We have a group that has just completed their Egypt tour and started their Jordan tour today. We also have another group arriving on 8th August. For your departure from Jordan, you may wish to book a flexible flight from Amman. If there are any changes in the regional situation, we can easily adjust the itinerary by replacing the Jordan portion with another amazing destination in Egypt, such as Hurghada, Siwa Oasis, or the White Desert & Black Desert, subject to availability and your preferences.

I want to know more information or details about the hotels, bedrooms, name of the hotels... how they look, if the breakfast or some food are included, and the same in the cruise please. Also if the included flight includes the 10kg bag and the customers would be able to flight without any trouble.

Will we need to book flights from Cairo to Amman ourselves? Will the visa be arranged for us? Will we have a private guide at each spot? What will be the hotel options in each location if we upgrade and don't upgrade?

Sure you can book your flight from Cairo to Amman by your self. Visa for Jordan is free. Visa for Egypt is approx 25$, you can get your visa upon arrival Cairo International Airport or by online. Names of hotels will be sent shortly according to availability.

Would we be able to confirm if it's closer to $150?

We have got the confirmation from the camp in Wadi Rum & Happy to confirm 175$

What is the transport provided in the package? How many hours of travel? Is it day time travel or night travel including the start time of travel on day 2 and day 6?

I truly cannot recommend Travel Chance Egypt more. I’ve been to 27 countries and this is the best vacation I’ve ever had. The level of organization, communication, and overall care is unmatched. When we first arrived in Cairo we had someone waiting for us in the airport, who helped us navigate the visa line and get our luggage so quickly. I want to specifically thank Mazin in Cairo. He picked us up from the airport the first day, and immediately realized we were super interested in learning about Cairo, so gave us a bonus tour while driving us to our hotel. He went above and beyond for us while we were in Cairo and even after. I’m truly thankful for his guidance and friendship. Ahmed was our guide for the pyramids and museum. He was so knowledgeable and patient while we took 100s of photos all day. You’re very lucky if you get to meet him! We were sent the full schedule on the first day of the trip, so it was nice to know what to expect. We were also given the contact information for all of our drivers and guides throughout the trip. They sent specific pick up times ahead of time so that we knew when we should go to bed or get ready. We could reach out to them directly on the day of or the company WhatsApp whenever needed. All of our hotels, cars, and meals were excellent. My mom and I are both gluten free, and we were preparing to have issues eating during the trip. It was never a concern and each place we went to eat was able to accommodate. The river cruise was lovely, and on a nicer boat than expected. It’s important to note that the schedule on those days is quite flexible because it’s completely dependent on the timing of the lock. We were running late in the river the 1 day so we ended up having to move things around. We were still able to see everything on the itinerary so it wasn’t an issue. Our tour guide in Luxor was Peter, and he came to see us on the boat to walk us through the new itinerary even when it could have just been a message sent. That was so appreciated, as he didn’t have to go out of the way like that. Our original itinerary included going to Jordan. Given everything going on right now we had to pivot to Hurghada. When I first started arranging our trip I had asked about golfing. The person booking hotels remembered that from months earlier, and ensured our resort in Hurghada was on a golf course. It was such a beautiful place, and we were able to go snorkelling, diving, and horse riding on the beach. For budgeting purposes it’s best to look up the costs of entry for each of the archeological sites, as they are not included in the original price. It’s all very reasonable but good to note. Thank you again to everyone we met and interacted with on our trip, there were truly no low points and it’s a testament to the whole team working around the clock at Travel Chance!!Show more
