The boat and accommodations were decent, and the staff on the Nile cruise were friendly and warmly welcoming. Though the weather was extremely hot at this time, it didn't detract from the overall experience.

The cruise staff was friendly, and the ship was always clean. The food was excellent, and our rooms were comfy and spacious. they handled our daily tours, and they did a great job. Everything was well-coordinated, and the cars were always on time.
Our guide, 'Egyptologist Mansour,' was fantastic. He made Ancient Egyptian history so interesting. We also did Pyramids and Alexandria tours, guided by 'John,' and those were well-organized too.
All our tours were just for our family of four. Big thanks to Magdy from Vacations to go, he took care of everything from the inquiry to the tours. It felt like having a friend guide us. I wholeheartedly recommend Magdy and Vacations to go travel.

The tour guide, Ibrahim, was truly exceptional, and I had a positive experience with John in Cairo as well. However, I must mention that the train portion of the journey was less than ideal due to its noise and lack of comfort. While I wished for an upgrade to domestic flights, my tight budget constrained such a choice. Nevertheless, I appreciate the efforts of your team and want to thank you for a job well done overall.

We enjoyed meeting the people who were very kind to us and learning about the culture which was very interesting and seeing all the amazing pyramids mosques and temples. We loved the Nubian Village tour and snorkeling in Hurghada with so many colorful fish.
It was fantastic! John is maying guide, he explained everyting good and everithing was really good organised. We joined the group tour that only had my friend and I. We were happy since day 1 when you were greeted by our local operator within the immigration area and then we went the immigration at ease. We w…We joined the group tour that only had my friend and I. We were happy since day 1 when you were greeted by our local operator within the immigration area and then we went the immigration at ease. We were introduced to our driver Ahmed at the airport. He is definitely easygoing and on time all the times. We had a great time with our driver for the whole journey.
In Amman, the city tour was good and the Sanrock hotel staff was nice. Its location was not so convenient. However, we used Careem and Uber for our extra activities without any trouble.
In Petra, the hotel was average but clean. Food was okay in the hotel. Petra was definitely a great place to visit and our Petra guide was great and knowledgeable.
In Wadi Rum, we enjoyed every moment in the camp with amazing food in the camp.
In Dead Sea, Dead Sea Ramada Resort was nice but the food was very average and boring.
In Perash, it was another educational experience. The local was just fine.
We loved the arrangements. We had a great time for our journeys. This tour company are very very efficient for correspondence. They gave us the hotels name and WhatsApp or mobiles contact before landing at Amman Airport.

Accommodation could have been better in Cairo. John our tour guide was excellent.

they have a wonderful supporting them; John was a wealth of knowledge and information on all of the Cairo based travel, and Mansour in Aswan and the Nile cruise was the same. All of the questions we had about Egypt, it recent and ancient history were honestly answered and enables us to have a valuable insight to the country.

It was amazing. The local guides were fabulous. It is a fairly jam packed tour with many early mornings, so it’s that’s not your thing consider something less packed

The 10 day tour was amazing visiting the best sites of Egypt with local guides (John & Islam) who have in depth knowledge of all the locations, happy to answer even the most silliest of questions but …The 10 day tour was amazing visiting the best sites of Egypt with local guides (John & Islam) who have in depth knowledge of all the locations, happy to answer even the most silliest of questions but also assist in navigating some of the locals who can be very forthcoming when selling goods, along with drivers who get you there safely & on time. This tour provides excellent insights into the history & culture of Egypt. Extremely professional dealings with Vacations To Go from initial booking to arrivals. Can’t speak highly enough of Magdy also from head office & Michael (local contact) for their professionalism and ensuring everything went odd without a hitch!! Would recommend & use Vacations to Go Travel to anyone so it’s 5 stars from me!!

The entrance fees to the various monuments were rather high but that's not in the control of the tour company. We were under constant pressure to tip for every turn all day long. The meet and greet at the airport and drop off after the tour was well arranged. A suggestion - it would be good to get more free time at each site for exploring on our own. This is a trip of a lifetime for most of us and we felt we could have used a longer visit to most of the sites.

Hotel and boat were ok although there were continuous strong diesel and exhaust fumes on the boat which had to be unhealthy plus half our tour group got sick on the boat so not sure about why that was.
Food was pretty bad
Did not like the use of horses at Edfu as they were clearly maltreated plus our carriage almost tipped over in a road accident
Washrooms at sites were very dirty and we had to pay to use them and have toilet paper
Pace was sometimes uneven- some days full and others back to the room before lunch with nothing else to do for the rest of the day. Guides should advise re things to do and restaurants to visit on off times as we had no information and did not know what areas were safe to visit or what was close by.
We were continually harassed from locals to buy things. It would have been nice for the guides or tourism police with us to tell these people to leave us alone.
There was strong pressure from the guides to pay $150 US tips up front and this pressure continued daily. I was asked at least 15 times to pay the $150. It was treated like it was a mandatory cost instead of my choice as a guest.this was extremely annoying. Plus we were asked to tip just about everyone for doing anything. It made it difficult to understand what exactly was covered in our tour fees that we had already paid.
Ditto re demand for entrance fees of $150 without any clarification. An itemized list would be useful in terms of clarifying what this money covers.

My mom and I had a wonderful time learning and exploring the Egyptian culture. We made new friends that at the end of the trip they turned out to be like family (including John). We made new friends that at the end of the trip they turned out to be like family (including John). John was an AMAZING guide. He was incredibly smart, knowledgeable, patient, super nice and respectful, but specially, he had a very kind heart. We definitely want to go back, and would love for John to be our guide again!
Highly recommend this tour!!!
