The plan was perfect for each city that we visited on the list. The hotels were very good and the package offered the right attractions at each city . What could be improved is adding an extra day at Rome
Milan, Venice, Florence, Rome: essential (3* hotels) low carbon tour by trainOverall, tour was amazing. Hotels were accommodating and being given transportation to each location was a huge help. I’m leaving 4 stars and not 5 because I thought our hotel for the Cinque Terre portion would actually be in one of the five towns, not in La Spezia. La Spezia was not a nice area, had nowhere to get dessert at night, and was by far the worst town we stayed in.

The day hikes were fantastic and sights beautiful, and we were well fed from the hotel. I would gladly recommend this tour!! In terms of difficulty, there are some slopes but perfectly doable if you are of average fitness like myself. The ages in my tour ranged from 19 to 80!! May be too difficult if you cannot handle slopes and stairs.
