Is Lake Garda one of your destinations or is it possible to add a stay there for a couple nights on the back end? Are there any hotel rooms that have 3 beds for the adult children, or 2 beds and a couch? Is June 2026 available for booking yet?

The Hotels we use in the Dolomites all have some triple rooms, so that wouldn't be an issue. Lake Garda is not an area we do or cover. I wonder if we could drop them off there at the end of the Dolomites tour, and have them explore it more independently. Our max group size is generally 10 people. Usually we would require a minimum of 6 people to schedule a private tour.

What if the tour I'm interested in is already booked?

If a tour is fully booked, alternative tour dates or different tours might be offered to accommodate interested participants.

How difficult is the walk? Both my sister and myself and active and enjoy hiking.

The hikes are strenuous, but not exceedingly so. If you are both hikers and in good shape you should have no difficulty whatsoever. Our 2025 tours are fully booked, but I will be sure to get in touch with you as soon as we open booking for our 2026 dates.

Is it possible to alter the number of participants after booking a tour?

Yes, adjustments to the group size can be accommodated, allowing more participants to join if needed.

How are special accommodations like spa visits and additional excursions handled in the tour pricing?

This was the first Asian group to join the Caspin Dolomite trip. Our friends came from both the U.S. and Hong Kong, and since it was a small group where most of us already knew each other, it really felt more like a family trip. Keep your group with maximum 10 people so that everyone could fit into one van, which made the journey more fun and lively. Because of the time difference, suggested to start the itinerary a little slower at the beginning, which will work out better. Everyone had such a great time, and we took lots of photos. The tour leader was incredibly thoughtful and friendly — it honestly felt like visiting an old friend’s home. The food and accommodations were excellent, and the hotels all had saunas and swimming pools, which made the trip even better.Show more

You and Pino and now your family are really in a class all your own and a model for small group travel experiences. We particularly remember with relish the month we spent at Cortona at your place in that marvelous space on your grounds that had its own kitchen whilst we studied Italian in Cortona. The day trips we took after class which you and Pino assisted us in planning were truly some of the best times we have had on a trip….ever.   The dates which would work for us are 16-23 June 2026. We could run this as a group tour or privately. The group tour price is €4250 per person. For a private trip, the price would be €4800 per person. We would not charge a single supplement for the 5th person, as the 3 children would share a triple room. We can drop them off at Lake Garda at no additional cost.

  I really what to do a Dolomite tour but unsure if my sister my is fit enough as the tours look strenuous. There is one called the Dolomites Premium which maybe Okay but not sure. Also looking at the guided Cinque Terre guided 8 nights tour during September which I am sure my sister 52years who is healthy and has a reasonable fitness level but has never gone hiking.

  The Dolomites Premium will still be a Level 3 when it comes to activity level. Activity Level 3 (Moderate) walking, where we usually walk between five and seven hours per day. The area we are visiting is criss-crossed by a network of long-established trails and walking paths, most well-maintained and waymarked. Even so, paths are rocky and on occasion exposed. A reasonable level of fitness is required for these weeks.
