Yes we do offer an e-bike option for the trip. The approx. cost is US$250 to be confirmed at time of booking depending on the departure date. If you do wish to book we do need you height at time of booking in order to request the e-bike for you.

Can you advise if there is a 240V power socket in the room so that I can plug in my CPAP Machine? Could you please provide the address of the accommodation for the night of the 14-09-2025 and any contact details. We create bookings in twin share rooms but are able to put in a request for double bedding wherever possible, this will be dependent on availability of course. Your rooms will have ensuites. The start hotel is called the Residence Flora in Merano - Via 30 Aprile, 2, Merano, 39012 Italy. This tour includes 7 breakfasts, all other meals are your own arrangements. I am afraid I don't have the information available to me about the voltage of the power points in each of the rooms but if you decide to go ahead with this tour, we can reach out to the properties for you.

first, was is the trips's riding rating - from easy to moderate to difficult or from 1 easy to 5 difficult? Second, what is the usual average rate of speed for the ride? If answered very quickly, I can decide to join or not.

We've graded the cycling on this tour as leisurely. While you don't have to be a pro to take part, you should have a basic level of fitness and enjoy being in the saddle. On one day there is a moderate grade ride, but it can be shortened significantly, lowering its grade to leisurely. On this tour we cycle 189 km/117.4 miles over five days (an average of 38 km/23.6 miles per day) with optional extra 24 km/14.9 miles cycling. The terrain is virtually all on tarmac and 90% of the route is on dedicated cycle paths. We encounter traffic for short sections at the end of day 6. The route is generally a gentle descent with flat sections and occasional ascents; with a few steeper inclines on days 4, 5 and 6. The Explore Leader will cycle with the group every day and luggage is transported between hotels. We have graded the route as Leisurely.

Yes e-bikes are offered on this trip. We can only confirm them when we have a deposit on file for the tour.

Insurance is not included but it is highly recommended to have coverage for the trip.

How do I get from Venice to the initial meeting point for the tour?

You can take a shuttle from the airport or arrange for a private transfer to the hotel.

What should I do if I need to cancel the trip?

For cancellations, please check the policy for deposit refunds or applying them to future itineraries.

You are able to rent an E-bike at a cost of US$81. Please note these are on request, so let us know when you make the booking and we will confirm with our local agent. You will need to bring your own helmet as one will not be provided. You can bring your own saddle if you wish. The luggage will be transported to each hotel in the support van. There will be a guide cycling with you, and there will be a separate drive for the support van.

What time do we return to Venice at the end of the tour?

The trip concludes after breakfast at the hotel in Mestre, and you are free to leave at any time.

This was simply a wonderful trip to the jaw dropping peaks in the Dolomites down to beautiful Verona and mind boggling Venice. The scenery en route was spectacular and varied. Our leader and guide Fabio was fantastic- he was upbeat; amusing; an excellent communicator and knowledgeable of the culture and geography of the regions in which we cycled. He was always enthusiastic and explained our trips beforehand in detail. Our group bonded very quickly facilitated by Fabio's excellent interpersonal skills. The accommodation was always comfortable serving excellent buffet breakfasts. Show more
