- Day 1
Palermo
You'll arrive in Palermo whenever works for your flight, then head to your hotel to drop off luggage and settle in. The evening is yours to explore at your own pace and grab dinner somewhere that catches your eye as you wander around the city.

- Day 2
Palermo
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll travel to Monreale to see the Arab-Norman Cathedral, which has beautiful Byzantine mosaics and a nice cloister worth checking out. Then it's back to Palermo where you'll see the Cathedral, Martorana Church, and Cappella Palatina. You'll have a typical Sicilian lunch, followed by time to walk through the historic center and see Teatro Massimo and Pretoria Square with its fountain. Dinner is on your own tonight.

- Day 3
Catania
You'll head to Cefalú, a coastal town with a Norman Cathedral and charming medieval streets perfect for walking around. There's free time here if you want to visit the Mandralisca Museum or just explore on your own. After lunch at a local restaurant, you'll travel to Catania at the base of Mount Etna. In the baroque old town, you'll see the Duomo Square with its famous Elephant symbol, walk through University Square and Via dei Crociferi, and try some local granita and brioche at a historic bar. Then you'll head to your accommodation for dinner.

- Day 4
Taormina - Catania
Starting with breakfast, you'll visit Catania's famous fish market before heading up to Mount Etna, Europe's highest active volcano. At Rifugio Sapienza, you'll walk through the dramatic landscape with its lava flows and see the inactive Crateri Silvestri while tasting artisanal honey and local products. Later you'll continue to Taormina for lunch in the old town, then visit the Greco-Roman Theatre with its views of both the sea and Mount Etna. You have free time to wander the charming streets or visit craft shops before heading back to Catania for the evening.
