Dear Leonard, thank you for your feedback It took a while to read the whole review but we would like to respond to every pointed matter. First of all we would like to clarify that Dimensione Sicilia never hid rates, it is all specified in the Tourradar page under the voices “the rate includes” and “the rate doesn’t include”. You can see all the services included and it is obvious that to add extra services you should ask! To start, we gave you all information needed per time, including the anticipation that we would have sent the travel document witht the list of the hotels one week before the departure. When you asked again, we confirmed what anticipated and your rage came through. We had to work even harder to accomplish your needs and excepcionally sent the document with ALL information, 2 months before your departure. Regarding the hotels used for our Sicilian Secrets Tours, they are all 4* for Italian Standards, we are sorry if they didn’t meet your expectations but Il Principe Hotel is in a building of the 19th century, renewed and located in the hystorical centre of Catania. We are sorry that you had to wait some minutes to get to your room, as you understand it is not easy to intervene in such buildings and implement another elevator. This explains also to the room size difference, you stated yourself that the same hotel gave you 2 different rooms for your stay. We confirm that most of our hotels are centrally located and sometimes the bus can’t stop just in front of it. The maximum distance with you luggage on hand is never more than 100 meters. We are sorry to have to deny your statement since it doesn’t correspond to the truth! (luckily you had an umbrella with you, it can rain also in Sicily ????). Regarding the beverage, once again, our offer clearly stated that these were not included – you had all these kind of information months before the departure. Entrances to sites and Museums are not mandatory and you are free to decide if taking part or not, you could have organized an alternative with the guide and the bus driver and i am sure that your requests would have been satisfied with possibility. Fish in Sicily is more expensive than meat, like i imagin in most countries, the availability and high quality doesn’t make it cheaper, and we confirm that we offer alternatives if we receive a communication or request (we couldn’t contact all of our customers to ask what they would like to eat everyday) so you understand that we arrange fixed menus with a variety to let our clients have a taste of traditional dishes. It is very offensive to read many accusations of our agency hiding costs, please check the proper section on the tour page, here a refresh: The rate does not include Aeroportuual Transfers in/out, Meals not included by the program, beverages, entrance fees at monuments/museums, city taxes (where compulsory), tips and extras in general, anything not specified under “The rates include”. We are please to read that at least our guide and driver were good enough for your standards. We are sorry that your experience wasn’t good with us, maybe next time you could contact a better agency, we suggest Perillo Tour!
