What people love about Tuscany Tours
- The Best of Tuscany - 4Days/3Nights
I had a great time on my tour with Italy on a budget! Gabriela was an awesome tour guide for my walking tour of Florence, and for the day trip to Pisa and Cinque Terre! I also enjoyed the day in Tuscany with the wine tastings. I liked how much I got to see in a few days, and all off the guides were super friendly and informative! It was an amazing trip!
- The Best of Tuscany - 4Days/3Nights
I absolutely loved this trip! It was well worth it and very organized. I cannot wait to plan another trip soon.
- The Best of Tuscany - 4Days/3Nights
Overall, I found the trip to be good value and fun! The guides really knew how to take care of the tourists and gave plenty of suggestions and ideas and also information about the history and culture of the city. However, if you’re going to call it a 4day 3 night trip, I would’ve like to have had at least another half day of touring in or around the city. It was really only 2 full days and one evening... The places that we did go to, though, were great.

"Our trip to Italy with Meet and Greet Italy and Riccardo was the trip of a lifetime! Riccardo was so organized and fun and made sure we didn’t miss a thing in Italy! We had a great small group of 24 and traveled by rail which we loved! Riccardo took such good care of us as a group and we will always carry with us the wonderful memories of Italy!

"This adventure seemed new when I booked and didn't have enough reviews but I went ahead as the itinerary looked great and matched our dates. The itinerary and people behind "Italy on a budget" and "Italy on Wheels" exceeded our expectations. We are a mid 40's couple and the places we were taken to where outstanding from a Tuscany famous winery, top cooking classes, to a night tour around Florence or the spa night and dinner. It was magical! There was two small glitches in the itinerary, not this company but their partner's, but the team was quick to respond to fix it. I am personally thrilled with the caring service we got. Thanks to Alessandro, Antonello, Veronica, Anastacia and many others that made this trip wonderful. Ci vediamo presto amici !

Discover Tuscany tours for every budget
Our popular 3-day Florence packages work great for travelers watching their budget, mixing city visits with wine experiences in Chianti. You can stay in Florence and take guided day trips to explore the countryside. People really like tasting Chianti Classico, Brunello and also Super Tuscans at local estates, paired with aged balsamic and truffle oils. Many appreciate having free time to visit Florence's museums independently while getting expert guidance during wine tours. The guides make a big difference - Veronica and Lorenzo get mentioned often for their deep knowledge of both Florence and wine production. These tours connect well with younger visitors too; groups in their 20s tell us it's an ideal first taste of Tuscany without breaking the bank.
Our luxury tours center on exclusive wine experiences and villa stays in restored Tuscan estates. Top picks include private cooking classes in centuries-old properties paired with premium Brunello di Montalcino tastings. Travelers particularly enjoy intimate sessions at family vineyards in Bolgheri, where exceptional Super Tuscans are produced. Several tours mix in visits to glass workshops in Colle Val d'Elsa and private access to medieval tower houses. We're quite particular about accommodation - think converted palazzos overlooking Chianti's rolling hills. Our guests often mention loving how cultural visits blend with indulgent moments, like going truffle hunting before unwinding at thermal spa resorts.

Demographics
Our premium Tuscan tours give couples those special moments that make a trip memorable. You'll find yourself in lovely country hotels where you can watch the sunset over cypress-dotted hills, often with a pool and excellent restaurant right there. What makes these tours special are the little extras - like private lunches in Roman noble families' homes, where you can chat with the owners under centuries-old painted ceilings. The wine experiences really shine, especially at small family agriturismos where you'll try Vernaccia wines paired with local cheeses and olive oils. Most couples tell us they love how the schedule flows - enough guided activities but also plenty of time to wander together through medieval streets and find quiet spots for gelato. The evenings are particularly nice, with authentic Venetian dinners and walks through Florence when the day crowds thin out.
The Florence-based tours hit the sweet spot for younger travelers who want good value and social vibes. Each walking tour wraps up at local bars where everyone shares aperitivo - it's a natural way to meet other travelers while getting into Italian traditions. Our guides Gabriela and Lorenzo really get it right, mixing cultural stories with fun wine tastings and food spots that locals actually go to. The hostels are perfectly placed, just 5 minutes from where tours start, which works great for morning meets or heading out at night. Our travelers in their early 20s particularly connect with the mix of structured activities like winery visits plus free time to check out Florence's evening scene and local markets.
The premium tours work especially well for our senior travelers, with thoughtful touches that make everything smoother. The multi-city routes include private transfers and hotels picked for their location near train stations - it just makes getting around easier. Walking tours move at a comfortable pace with regular stops, and our guides are skilled at bringing places like medieval Siena and San Gimignano to life through their stories. The countryside portions use air-conditioned transport between villages and wineries, and travelers can count on a good mix of included restaurant meals and free time to explore independently. Our guides get consistently good feedback for reading the group well and adjusting the pace while keeping the cultural experiences rich and engaging.
