Thank you for writing in and for sharing your feedback. We would, however, like to clarify a few points, as some of the comments do not accurately reflect how the trip was operated. We run our tours across various established travel platforms, including Viator and Gray Line, working with experienced local guides in each destination. Our tour creation team personally visits the destinations we promote so that we can understand the experiences, accommodations and logistics before offering them to our guests. I can also see from your communications that members of this team shared their own destination knowledge and experiences with you during your trip. Having reviewed your communications with our team, the principal concern raised regarding the Amazon portion was the lack of Wi-Fi at the lodge. Anaconda Lodge is in a remote jungle environment and provides Wi-Fi only in the reception area for essential/emergency use; it is not available inside the rooms. This is not advertised by us as an in-room Wi-Fi facility. We appreciate that limited connectivity can nevertheless be frustrating for some travellers during a multi-day stay. There was also an unforeseen airline disruption during your journey when you missed a flight connection. LATAM handled this disruption by providing accommodation, meals, transfers and the earliest available onward connection. We appreciate that this resulted in lost time and understandably affected your itinerary. To minimize the impact of this disruption, our colleagues Zufi and Amy went further and upgraded your two-day Iguassu arrangements to a completely private experience. This allowed you to retain the planned sightseeing while also adding the Bird Park. We provided this upgrade at our cost as a goodwill gesture, despite the disruption originating with the airline. Following this upgrade, our team continued to check in with you to ask how the Iguassu portion of your trip had gone. Unfortunately, we did not receive a response, which meant that if there had been any further concerns, we were not given the opportunity to address them while you were still travelling. We certainly acknowledge that travel to remote destinations can involve limitations and that unforeseen disruptions can occur. We take constructive feedback seriously and continuously review our experiences, accommodations and suppliers based on guest feedback. At the same time, we believe it is important to distinguish between an individual preference or an unavoidable travel disruption and a failure in the organization of a trip. Throughout your journey, our team remained involved, responded to the circumstances that arose and, where possible, took additional steps to minimize their impact. We are sorry that the overall experience did not meet your expectations. Due to the geography of Brazil and the fact that this itinerary connects several regional destinations such as Rio de Janeiro, Manaus, and Foz do Iguaçu, many flights operate with connections and, in some cases, at late-night or early-morning hours. These schedules are largely determined by the airlines, and direct daytime services between these destinations are often limited or unavailable. When planning this itinerary, we aim to use the most practical flight combinations available while maximising your sightseeing time during the day and keeping the overall tour cost competitive. Following the overnight flights, the itinerary is intentionally designed with relatively relaxed schedules to allow guests time to rest before their next major excursion. We would also like to mention that, prior to your booking being confirmed, the proposed flight schedule was shared with you for review, and we proceeded only after receiving your approval. For this reason, we were a little surprised to see this concern raised after the tour, as we would have been happy to discuss alternative flight options before booking had they been preferred, although these may have involved additional costs or changes to the itinerary. Nevertheless, we genuinely appreciate your feedback. Comments such as yours help future travellers understand what to expect when travelling between these destinations, and we will continue to review flight options wherever possible to improve the overall travel experience.
