Venice
You'll arrive at Venice airport and head to your hotel to get settled in. The rest of your day is open, so you can wander through the streets at your own pace, check out the local architecture, pick up some souvenirs, or just sit down at a café and soak it all in.

Venice
After breakfast, you'll join a guided walk that starts at St. Luca Square and takes you through Palazzo Fortuny, La Fenice Opera House, and the historic Rialto area. Later in the afternoon, you'll get a gondola ride through Venice's canals, which gives you a different perspective of the city from the water.

Venice
You have the full day to yourself after breakfast. If you're interested, there's an optional half-day tour out to the islands of Murano, Burano, and Torcello where you can see glassblowing workshops, walk past colorful fishermen's homes, and find lacework souvenirs. Otherwise, just explore whatever interests you.

Venice to Rome
After breakfast, you'll head to Venezia Mestre Station and catch a train to Rome. Once you arrive, the day is yours to explore from your hotel in central Rome. You can get settled, walk around the neighborhood, or check out whatever catches your eye.

Rome
You'll meet your guide after breakfast and explore ancient Rome's major monuments. The tour includes the Colosseum where you'll walk through where gladiators once fought, the Roman Forum ruins, and Palatine Hill. Your guide will fill you in on the history and significance of each site.

Rome

Rome to Sorrento
You'll catch a train from Roma Termini Station after breakfast and head to Naples. From there, you'll make your way to your hotel in Sorrento. The rest of the day is free to settle in and get a feel for the town at your own pace.

After breakfast at your hotel, you'll board a boat and cruise along the Amalfi Coast with a skipper at the helm. You'll have stops in Positano and Amalfi, plus the option to visit Ravello. Each village has charming streets and squares to walk through before heading back.

Sorrento to Naples
