      What are the best travel dates for chasing the Northern Lights, September or March? I'm considering climate and clearer skies.

      Both September and March are excellent, high-activity times for viewing the Northern Lights due to the equinoxes, but they offer different experiences. March is generally better for snowy, classic winter adventures with longer dark nights, while September offers warmer weather, open lakes for reflections, and no snow.
