What people love about touring Tuscany solo
- Italian Sojourn with Leaning Tower of Pisa
Wanderful was great to work with. Good communication via WhatsApp. Had a booking hiccup for the Vatican Tour where the information held by the local tour company didn't match my group and we weren't able to go. Wanderful staff worked hard to get it fixed but were not able to. We were able to rebook a similar tour ourselves and Wanderful refunded the value of the original booking. We upgraded to 4 star hotels and were happy with the locations and amenities.
- A Taste of Tuscany - Hilltop Towns and Vineyards
The hilltop towns were all incredibly beautiful! Our guide Esther was very organized, fun and made our trip as comfortable as possible. The pace was perfect with a mix of guided tours, classes and demonstrations with enough free time to pursue our own interests. The location of Pieve a Salti was incredible as were the highlights of the Ricasoli Wine Estate and Brolio castle and the Fattoria San Donato for the pasta making class. The only caution is that the hotel rooms are comfortable but are in very old buildings that have been renovated.
- Italian Triple Centre with A World Wonder
Would have score 4.5/5 with overall the team has done pretty well in accommodating, resolving issues and responsive. This is not a group travel but more of a virtual travel assistant with the itinerary focusing on main highlights within the country. The small hiccups that we had was related to late checkin in an unmanned reception and adjusted itinerary. The team do manage to respond to it promptly and not having a disruption on the plans. What I do like about their services were the daily check-in and reminder on the next day arrangements, and when we provide some feedback, they do relay those comments to the provider and try to make it right.
