  1. We were informed that snorkeling would be in the afternoon after a morning hike and lunch back at the hotel. We didn’t take our snorkeling gear in the morning and missed the snorkeling which was in the morning. 2. We were not informed that we were staying overnight for the visit to Isabella Island. Just prior to our departure they asked us for our luggage which we had no idea why they wanted it! It was a stressful moment to pack our stuff at the last moment to avoid holding up the boat!Show more

  For people reading this and thinking about going to the Galapagos - just do it! It's simply a staggering place! The hotel (and I think tour operator) was Galapagos dreams who operate locally in the Galapagos. As regarding the tour it was a well organized series of day trips, with one over night stay, not a conventional tour with a group experience - which suited me better personally. The staff and guides were really nice and helpful. The Itinerary was very good, covering a solid amount different activities. I did enjoy talking to some of the local guides, their passion for the Galapagos islands and their conservation was really great to be around. The only poor value was the single £284 for a 'single person supplement', £84 more than it cost me to rent a 2 bed/ 2 bathroom apartment for 7 days after the tour.Show more

Our tours can run during the whole year in shared and private service (GROUPS) in your case- was shared service :with families, couples, solo travelers and sometimes just you with our tour guide. Normally for the single supplement other company’s charge 50% and more in you case was 20%, so sorry for the “single £284 for a 'single person supplement” that you had to pay, but It is logical because you made your booking through “TR”, it implies commission, fees, and other taxes for this prestigious OTA as TR. So sorry for that, I think you did not take the test on time according the information given by you.- You took the PCR TEST on JAN 20 and you had to be in Ecuador on JAN 21 and the next day in Galapagos on JANUARY 22 and unfortunately you did not receive the results on TIME. We sent you the information about the entry requirements with plenty of time. “Ecuador: A vaccination certificate (2 doses) (2 copies) ONE for Guayaquil airport and ONE for Galapagos airport, completed at least 14 days prior to arrival AND a negative RT-PCR test performed within the past 72 hours” “Galapagos: The same at international requirements: A vaccination certificate (2 doses) , completed at least 14 days prior to arrival AND a negative RT-PCR test performed within the past 72 hours of your Galapagos flight” Nevertheless, we offered you to reschedule the dates of the trip, and you asked for a refund and I sent a message the day before of your trip (JAN 21) explaining the following: “Everything depends of the hotels, guide, yacht (excursion full day), restaurant and transportation, due to the fact that All of them demanded a total prepayment to confirm availability” But you also claimed, the following: “Can we use the credit with another tour though the TourRadar company” That is no possible because everything is paid for Galapagos no FOR ANOTHER TRIP. The option is to choose another departure date for Galapagos during the whole year 2022. On the other hand, many companies apply strict policies of cancellations: Example: (If the tour is cancelled less than 8 days before the departure, The company reserves the right to charge the entire price of the reservation, no refund and nor can reprogram the dates of the trip) We don't have that kind of policies we are more flexible because we understand the current situation that´s why We have never denied the option to the Passengers can reschedule their trip, if something happens. As I mentioned the option is to reschedule the dates of the trip to Galapagos (no for another trip just Galapagos); since you did not receive the PCR Test on time to take your international flight. We were met at the airport and then driven to our accommodation - Galapagos Dreams - the staff at Galapagos Dreams were very helpful and provided transport to all our activities. The day trip to Northern Seymour island was great for the wildlife, the Santa Fe day trip was great for snorkelling, Isabella island was great for snorkelling and hiking.Show more
