Communication was the worst I've experienced. e.g. I was told the Florence tour would be 8 hours and it lasted 10 1/2 hours. Pick up points were not provided in the planning instructions and we had to walk long distances or take a taxi. During the Florence region bus tour the guide was not clear on the meeting points after free times and we, and other guests were scrambling to find the guide and bus. It would have been good for the guide to have either given us a central meeting point or handed out the meeting point on a piece of paper so I could get walking directions on my phone. The whisper hearing buds were not the best for guests, like me, who wear hearing aids.Show more

Regarding the hotel in Florence, please note that Pitti Palace al Ponte Vecchio is a 4-star hotel located in Florence historic center, few steps from Ponte Vecchio, one of the most famous bridges in the world where it is possible to admire the goldsmith shops, with a 360° view of the city center of Florence. It is located less than 100 meters from Palazzo Pitti and the Uffizi Gallery and just a 15-minute walk away from Florence Santa Maria Novella train station. Hotel Pitti Palace al Ponte Vecchio rooms have been renovated with classic furnishings enriched with all the comforts and technological services to welcome guests with style, elegance, and efficiency. The hotel has 4.5 stars rating on Google and TripAdvisor and very good reviews. Concerning the extra costs, you paid on site; please note that in the tour description is perfectly indicated what is included or not in the tour. City taxes are never included and must always be paid by customers on site throughout Italy. Furthermore, please kindly note that our team was able to accommodate your request of a different area hotel before your arrival without extra costs. We do apologize again for the inconvenience.
