This tour is offered as a shorter itinerary for our Italy Tours during Low Season. September is still within our "Season" period and for that month, we offer our Italian Delights and Taste of Italy Tours (Both Tours make up our Italian Explorer Tour).

Do you have tours for June 2026?

Our 'Italy in Low Season' tours are not available in June 2026, as June falls outside the scheduled low season. Currently, departures for this tour are available only in February, March, November, and December. If you are flexible with your travel dates, we would be happy to provide a tailored quote for a tour during one of these months, allowing you to enjoy the full experience of Italy in Low Season at the best possible time.

Do you assist in invitation letter any supporting document for visa processing for people like me from third world country-Kenya

Yes, we can provide visa supporting documents once your booking is confirmed and fully paid. These include: Travel Document – This contains a visa letter addressed to the consulate and a purchase statement showing full payment. Visa Programme – This outlines your detailed tour itinerary and the list of hotels where you'll be staying. Please note that while we aim to provide accurate guidance, we are not a registered visa agency. We strongly recommend confirming the latest entry and visa requirements with a reputable travel or visa agent, as regulations can change unexpectedly.

I have a doubt, my group have 6 adults and one baby under 3 years, is there any discount to the baby?

At the moment, we do not offer group, child, or senior discounts — the only discounts displayed on our website. Our tours are designed for adult travelers, and the minimum age to join is 10 years old. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate babies or children under this age limit on our trips, as the itineraries involve long days of travel, walking tours, and experiences that are not suitable for very young travelers.

Any airport transfer?

While airport transfer is not included on the package, we can provide helpful links once booking is confirmed.

What optional excursions need to be pre booked? The optional excursions are very confusing. It would be nice to have better clarification.

For our Italy in Low Season Tour, the only Optional that requires to be pre-booked is the Colosseum & Roman Forum Guided Tour. On your free day in Rome, why not take a guided walking tour of the stunning Colosseum and visit the ruins of the ancient Roman Forum? Accompanied by a local tour guide, learn the history behind the stunning buildings that once stood in the centre of Rome. Included is the entrance ticket as well as the services of the local guide. This excursion must be booked at least 20 days prior to the start of the tour. This is due to the high demand for tickets. This excursion is subject to availability and is non-refundable. The rest are booked on tour through the Tour Leader and can be paid in cash or via credit/debit card.

I would like to know whether I can have twin share accomodation with another female traveler in the group please? I m flexible.

We understand your interest in twin shared accommodation, and we're glad to inform you that it is indeed possible to share a room with another female traveler during the tour.

can you please let me know if we can have our tour in mid July What would be the itinerary and the cost for me and my daughter who is 15 years old

We do not offer this tour for July (as it is a peak season for tours on the region). Instead, we have another Tour offerd for the region around that month, and you may check the itinerary and available tours in Tour Radar. You just have to search for Italy Tours, then filter the month and the operator (Expat Explore), to see other options.

Does this mean the tour is really about the bus driving through each landmark or attractions staying for an hour and then going to the next? That 50 people is a lot for a group, too large a group to even hear anything from the guide via blue-tooth earing device.

We believe the best way to get to the heart and soul of a city is on foot, surrounded by the people and the culture. For this reason, we do walking tours through most of the cities we visit. This means that Yes there will be a couple of stops in each city to conduct the walking tours (which could last upto 3 Hours). The maximum capacity is 48 Pax (2 spaces are allocated for the Driver and the Tour Leader) and so far, we do not have any negative reactions from our previous travelers for this capacity in terms of hearing discussions during the tour.

1- when I booked with tour radar, I was not informed that I actually booked with Xpat tours. This led to a lot of missed communication 2- you labeled the tour low season, however, Xpat made as an extra $400-500 on tour, otherwise, we miss many things. For example, the Venice hotel was far away, so the only way to see Venice was to book the extra expensive tour. That is deception! It turned out to be an expensive tour. 3- the system that there is a tour leader who just manages logistics but does not know much about the sites, is pathetic. OtherTourRadar tours did not do that. 4- we had to carry our heavy bags long distances of walking in the streets! Book hotels where the bus can park to load and unload infront of the hotel! 5- never heard of a tour that is done through moving large groups in public transportation! This is unthinkable! 6- there is much much more, but you get the idea. I am not sure if I can trust tour radar again! Iam very sure, I will never book with Xpat again.Show more

If you book by November 10th for the November 30th departure, there's a good chance the pre-booking can be accommodated. The exact cost depends on supplier rates. Guests who pre-book will enter the site with the guide, while others can remain in the hotel or do anything they want during the excursion.

However, if you book for a tour that starts less than 60 Days away, then you would need to make full payment.

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
