It was a fast paced tour with lots of adventures to see and explore. One of the best tours available for all the experiences you are able to do in a short period of time.

Our tour guide Gemma was wonderful—very organized, knowledgeable, and always made sure everyone in the group was comfortable. She kept everything running smoothly and made the trip enjoyable for all of us.
We traveled through 8 countries in 12 days, which was a lot, but the itinerary was well planned. The hotels were good, and we also really enjoyed the company of our fellow travelers.
A big highlight of the trip was the food. The culinary experiences were fantastic throughout the journey. We especially enjoyed visiting the cheese and wooden shoe factories in the Netherlands—it was a fun and unique experience.
Italy was definitely my favorite part of the trip. Rome was amazing—the culture, history, and food were unforgettable. The visit to Tuscany (Montecatini) was probably my favorite stop. The old town felt like something out of a storybook. Florence was beautiful, and Trastevere in Rome was colorful and lively with great restaurants. Venice was also magical, and we had some incredible pasta there.
Some of the optional tours do cost extra, but in our experience they were definitely worth it.
Overall, it was a well-organized trip and a great way to see a lot of Europe in a short time—especially traveling with family.

What stood out most was their ability to balance fun and information, they shared great stories. You can tell they truly love what they do, and it made our Europe trip unforgettable.

Gemma and Sylvian made a great team and created little surprises for us from the twinkling Eiffle tower to windmills in Amsterdam. I would highly recommend the tour.

The tour was very well organized, with several unexpected extras that made it even better. Our guide, Gemma, was outstanding, incredibly knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make the experience memorable. We really lucked out with her! Our driver, Soni, was just as impressive. He was kind, helpful, and an excellent driver. We never once felt unsafe or uncomfortable on the coach. Highly recommend!

Some hotels could be more central as some were well out of the city. Maybe 2 nights as opposed to 1 night in the more popular cities as sometimes felt a little rushed but understand why.

Tour leader was super organised and her and our bus driver were a dynamic duo together. Cannot fault either of them.

Sail & Swim: Croatia - Split to Split (Plus) 2022
This was an absolute 10/10 trip! The trip leader (Gemma) and the crew were phenomenal and really made this trip. The itinerary was great and a sailing holiday was just what I needed.

Travelling solo, I was so pleased to have booked Top Deck’s Sailing and Swimming Plus on Leonardo as I was with like-minded people and we were all really well looked after by the crew and TopDeck lead…Travelling solo, I was so pleased to have booked Top Deck’s Sailing and Swimming Plus on Leonardo as I was with like-minded people and we were all really well looked after by the crew and TopDeck leader, Gemma. The crew were so efficient, the food was lovely, they changed our linens half way through the week, and cleanliness was excellent. The itinerary was perfect and meant we could have a nice balance of me-time and group time everyday. Our leader also gave us extra optional activities like wine tasting and zip lining in Omis. The boat was a fantastic size and had lots of spaces to relax, whether in or out of the sun. I highly recommend this trip!

From the moment we arrived into Bali, our trip leader Gemma was super helpful and friendly. She did everything she could in her power to make our trip as easy as possible. Her kind nature & happy go lucky attitude only enhanced the already once in a lifetime experience. She has gone above and beyond to cater for our needs & nothing is ever too much. Not only has Gemma & Intro made my experience perfect, but have really made me think about making this a potential career. Thank you Gemma & thank you Bali Intro

Truly supportive of everyone’s wants and needs during the trip, Gemma has helped facilitate everything I’ve wanted to do on the trip. She’s been super fun and easy going while still managing to get us everywhere we need to be, and being our resident Karen whenever we needed it. Would 100% recommend intro again, and specifically Gemma as tour leader. The trip wouldn’t have been the same without her.

It was perfect for us, 9 countries in 12 days! Our tour guide, Gem and coach driver, Soni, were fantastic! We had a great time and met a lot of great people along the way.

There's a good amount of downtime to …This 13-day tour of Japan is a joyful, jam-packed journey that will take you to pretty much every major "bucket list" place in the country, plus a few quiet gems. There's a good amount of downtime to allow you to explore the cities and do the more niche things on your list. I luxuriated in the private onsen in Hakone, made sushi and soba noodles (stupidly good), got some chopsticks engraved, saw more shrines than Link in Tears of the Kingdom, went to the Making of Harry Potter outside Tokyo (totally worth the 50 minute commute), chopped 4/4 tatami mats with a 100+ year old samurai sword, got to stay in a traditional ryokan with tatami floors!!!, and almost got interviewed for a Japanese foodie YouTube channel (I didn't have time). The itinerary seemed simpler than it ended up being, but only because every activity involved either a lot of walking or a lot of time--not a bad thing! I've been home about 2 weeks and I already want to go back!
Thankfully, I managed to book a trip right around peak cherry blossom season, so almost every single city we went to was full of them! The locals are more obsessed with them than you are, so feel free to take every single photo your heart desires. They won't judge. If you're not sure if you'll have fun on this trip, you will. The food is delicious everywhere, the people are orderly, everything is clean, it's quiet even in the city (unless you're in a very touristy area), and the toilets will make you wish you'd always had a Japanese one.
Practical Advice:
I would highly recommend bringing electrolytes to help with fatigue from so much travel and altitude change! (I was slightly dehydrated after my trip, and one bottle full helped me perk right back up...after a week of jet lag.) I'd also HIGHLY recommend shoe inserts as you will get 15-25k steps a day, as well as compression socks to help with leg fatigue. (I'm on my feet all day for work and I was still tired.) You don't need to bring a water bottle as vending machines are plentiful and Japan is great about recycling, but I brought mine to avoid using/drinking out of plastic. With current exchange rates, one bottle is about USD $1, so if you buy 3-4 a day, you're spending an extra $40-$50. Japan doesn't have water filling stations, but most of the places we stayed had water available in the lobbies. Bonus: the tap water is safe to drink!
Also, PLEASE take the time to learn some service-based Japanese as these will get you into their good graces for trying. I was complimented on my rudimentary sentences and really appreciated it! (NinjaMonkey and KenshoQuest on YouTube were great.) What helped most with language barriers was Google Lens and Google Translate--make sure to download the Japanese language pack to use offline.
I also purchased a 2-week eSim (Sakura Mobile, but there are others) that only worked with iPhones, so I had to use apps to contact Android users. Lastly, iPhones users can put a Suica transit pass into their digital wallets to use on Japan's subway system. This made travel a BREEZE, and you can use it to buy from vending machines that are EVERYWHERE in the major cities.

Our trip leader Gem was an absolute legend, she provided so much intel and advice about each destination we were visiting, including food, activities and even supper niche things we could do while there.
There was a really good mix between time spent on land and time spent on the ship & I could recommend this more!

1. Our ship was downgraded last-minute. I purchased Sail and Swim: Croatia Plus (Leonardo). Topdeck downgraded our ship to an inferior ship, the Moja Maja. T***, a team leader, and G**, our tour guide, did not provide a specific reason.
2. My cabin on the sailboat was infested with bedbugs. I had 30+ bites on my body.
3. My health was severely compromised. Without my permission, the crew sprayed bedbug poison in my first cabin with my belongings in it and in my second cabin. I was forced to sleep in the second cabin that was sprayed the same day with bedbug poisoning, which was severely hazardous to my health.
4. The second cabin was awful and unsanitary. It had no window shades. I had to hang a towel to cover the window for privacy and to sleep. The soap dispenser in the bathroom did not work. I was provided with no blankets. Bugs, other than bedbugs, were in the bathroom.
5. The crew denied me access to my belongings. I could not work on my laptop, causing me to lose over $11,000. I could not charge my mobile phone, not allowing me to use it for work, pictures, videos, and ridesharing appropriately. Because I did not have my contact lenses, I could not see properly. Since I did not have my toiletries, I was forced to purchase toiletries at a grocery store.
6. My belongings were destroyed by the bedbug poisonings. I had to throw out about 95% of my belongings (luggage, backpack, clothes, toiletries, supplies, supplements, etc.), totaling over $10,000.
7. The tour was shortened and limited, not as scheduled or promised. Our tour was limited because of the schedule changes. We were unable to visit some of the sites and experience some activities. We could not fully experience Croatia.
8. The food was subpar, and the dishware was unsanitary. For breakfast, the eggs were not fully cooked, and the sausages were overcooked. The coffee tasted awful and had grounds in it. The water glasses were dirty. For lunch and dinner, the soups were broth with no contents. For the optional barbecue, the meat was inedible, having pieces of bone and excessive fat. Also, the sailboat ran out of supplies, including some non-alcoholic drinks.
9. The tour guide was unorganized and cared only about herself. G**, the tour guide, consistently provided the daily schedule significantly late, sometimes after lunchtime. She did not help me communicate with Topdeck about my situation.
10. The crew cared only about themselves and their business and were unprofessional. When she was notified of the bedbugs, the captain was upset and made me feel horrible about the situation. When I showed her the bedbugs I caught and placed in tissues, she became quite angry, crushed the tissues with the bedbugs, and littered, throwing the tissues into the sea. She yelled in a language I did not understand, making me feel like a burden. Some of the crew partied with the clients at a club until around 4:00 a.m., which is quite unprofessional and inappropriate.
11. Topdeck has poor customer service and only cares about its revenues, not about its clients. During the trip, I called Topdeck. I explained the situation to T***, a team leader. She said she would call me back with a remedy. She did not call me back. If you have a problem during a trip, Topdeck will wait to contact you back with a "remedy" until your trip is finished to attempt to use you finishing the trip as a reason not to properly remedy the situation. Topdeck will have no sympathy or empathy for your poor experiences and insult you with laughable "remedies." After the trip, I spoke with S*****, a customer experience manager, and C******, the general manager. Based on our conversations, Topdeck's primary concern is generating revenue not providing a positive client experience.

Overall, the biggest reason for the 3 star review is because we ended up on a tour of all girls and many of them were cliquey. I felt like I was in high school again. I was expecting a mixed group of people and it ended up being a bunch of 25 year old girls from The UK. I do not fault Intro Travel or the guide for this. I enjoyed many of the activities on the tour including snorkeling and the Monkey Forest. I kinda wished we spent less time in Canggu and Lovina and more time in Ubud and Gili T. As for the accommodations, they could be better. The Canggu and Gili T accommodations need to be improved- please pick nicer hotels in the future for these spots.
A great trip thanks to our leaders Gemma, Craig, Vitor and Rachel!! Accommodation and activities were amazing and everything ran smoothly which is actually amazing in a place like Bali!!
