Our guide Kaelin was professional and very accommodating and our driver Jefferey was skillful. Overall the tour gave highlights of the cities that we went through although it had short sstops at some spots The hotels in Italy were not good ( cleanliness and cramped space). The tour doesn't really cater for Vegan diet but more towards a basic Vegetarian diet although our tour guide did her best to accommodate my dietary restrictions.

Both my wife and I, had a wonderful time and an experience that will remain memorable for both of us. A trip that without the guide we would not have gone to all the historical places that we visited. The guide was very knowledgeable and informative. The only part that we would have love to have is time. It feels like we were always on a time crunch which is understandable. If more time was given, then we would have been able to explore a little bit more.

It was too fast. Would love it it abit slower more time at each city and a chance to see more art Museums. I had a problem with my knee and was walking with a cane. Did not want to miss the tour. The expat tour guide Sem was very accommodating and kind. But I could not keep up at times. He would figure out what I could do and make sure I had ways to make it back to the hotel when it was too much. Thank you for the experience.

Myra and Pascal performed their positions in a professional and effective way. Over and above this was their knowledge of the places visited and the kindness with which they performed their assignments. Example: one of the passengers was cheated out of money by a passenger on another bus and Myra and Pascal resolved the issue in minutes with the return of the money. The organization of the trip was superior. I do think that for me personally that the extensive walking caused me to slow down about halfway through the trip. This was due to a health condition that I thought was under control. Myra and Pascal were more than patient with me and others who experienced limitations without causing a problem with the enjoyment of the trip. Everyone in our wonderful group worked together to make the tour an unforgettable experience.

    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten September 2025

At this stage, the exact hotels have not yet been allocated since your departure is still quite far in advance. What we can confirm is that you will be staying in comfortable 3-4 star hotels, usually located in the downtown or city center area of Amsterdam, which serves as both the starting and ending point of this tour. The specific name of the first and last accommodation, and whether they are the same hotel, will only be confirmed closer to your departure date (around 90 days prior). We do not offer pre- or post-night accommodation or airport transfers. If you plan to arrive early, we recommend checking platforms such as Booking.com for hotels near the meeting point once it has been confirmed.

    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten September 2025

The tour begins at your hotel in Amsterdam at 10:00 AM on the first day and ends back in Amsterdam at approximately 7:30 PM on the last day (traffic dependent). As this is a coach tour, ground transport throughout the itinerary is included; however, airport transfers to and from the meeting and ending points are not provided. For flights, we recommend arriving in Amsterdam the day before the tour starts and departing the day after the tour ends to allow some buffer time.

I'd like to book the Europe Jewel tour for myself and several other couples for April 2027 but don't see those dates available. Can you tell me when those dates will become available so I can book them as a travel advisor?

At this stage, we haven't finalized the 2027 departures yet. These dates will most likely become available to book on our website in the last quarter of this year, otherwise by early next year. We'd recommend checking back then so you can secure your preferred departure date for April 2027.

Our coaches are not equipped with Wi-Fi, so it's a good idea to plan for offline entertainment and perhaps download maps, guides, or music in advance.

When you arrive at each hotel, are your keys waiting on you and your luggage out in your room. And is your luggage collected outside the room when you leave each location. Or, are we responsible for checking in and loading luggage?

    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten August 2025

When travelling and settling in to a new Hotel or from the Hotel to the next destination, customers will be the ones to handle their luggages to and from the Hotel. Check-in to the Hotels will be done with the Tour Leader as this is a Fully Guided Tour and the Tour Leader will stay with the group all throughout.
