Itinerary
- Day 1
Amsterdam
You'll meet your tour leader and start the day at a local cheese farm where you can watch traditional cheese and clog-making demonstrations. After that, there's free time for lunch in Volendam, a lakeside town with a nice setting. From there, head to Zaanse Schans to see historic windmills and wooden houses. Back in Amsterdam, you'll take a complimentary canal cruise before the day ends with a group dinner.

- Day 2
Rhine Valley, Germany
The journey takes you to the Rhine Valley where you'll visit a wine merchant for an included tasting. You'll try local wines, and if conditions allow, you might sample eiswein, a sweet dessert wine. After the tasting, board a scenic riverboat from Boppard to St. Goar. Along the way, you'll see the highest concentration of Gothic castles in Europe lining the riverbanks.

- Day 3
Nuremberg to Prague
Travel to Prague with a stop in Nuremberg, a Bavarian city that was rebuilt after World War II. Once in Prague, a local guide leads a walking tour through the city showing you beautiful architecture, quirky bars, and cobbled lanes. The evening features a group dinner with authentic Czech cuisine.

- Day 4
Prague
You have the full day free to explore Prague and understand why it's known as Central Europe's gem. If you're interested, there's an optional Prague+ tour covering the city's history, churches, concert halls, and Prague Castle. Another option is the Prague Tastes & Tales excursion with a Slivovitz distillery tasting. Later, you could optionally try traditional Czech food, music, and dance.

- Day 5
Bratislava to Vienna
Heading toward Vienna, there's a stop in Bratislava, Slovakia's capital, which sits among mountains, vineyards, and ski runs. You'll explore Bratislava's medieval castle and see its unique Socialist architecture. Continuing to Vienna, a local guide walks you through the UNESCO-listed city centre, pointing out Hofburg Palace and St. Stephen's Cathedral. Dinner is included, and if you're interested, there's an optional orchestra performance at Schönbrunn Palace Orangery later.

Budapest
You'll leave Vienna and travel to Budapest, Hungary's capital straddling the Danube River. A local guide leads a driving tour through Budapest's historic heart, showing you the Buda side and giving you views of the Houses of Parliament and St. Stephen's Basilica. The afternoon is yours to wander the city at your own pace. In the evening, there's an option to take a dinner cruise along the Danube.

Maribor - Ljubljana
Departing Budapest, you'll head toward Lake Balaton, Hungary's largest lake with nearly 200 kilometers of shoreline and a popular holiday destination. A stop in Maribor, Slovenia gives you free time for lunch. Then it's on to Ljubljana, Slovenia's capital, where a local expert leads a walking tour showing you the fairytale castle, beautiful architecture, and natural surroundings. You can optionally explore more of Ljubljana and try traditional Slovenian food.

- Day 8
Postojna - Venice
You'll start the day in Postojna where there's an optional guided tour through the cave system if you're interested in that kind of thing. The cave itself is quite something with all the underground passages and formations. After that, you're heading to Venice. Once there, spend the afternoon walking through the city and checking out Piazza San Marco, the Basilica di San Marco, and Palazzo Ducale. Later on, you can arrange a gondola ride if you want to get out on the water, and there are plenty of restaurants around for Italian dinner in the evening.

Venice to Florence and Tuscany
Leaving Venice behind, the tour heads to Florence in Tuscany's hills. Along the way, you'll see scenic countryside before stopping at Piazzale Michelangelo for panoramic city views. A local guide leads a walking tour showing Florence's Renaissance history and ancient Roman landmarks. You'll watch a leather-making demonstration, then have free time in the afternoon. This evening, there's a traditional Italian meal at a local restaurant, followed by travel to the Tuscan countryside for your accommodation.

- Day 10
Pisa to Swiss Alps
You'll leave Tuscany and travel to the Leaning Tower of Pisa for photos and to learn its story. From there, the tour continues to the Swiss Alps. As the landscape changes, you'll see snow-capped peaks and lush greenery rolling past. Upon arrival at your Swiss Alps accommodation in a village setting, you'll have an included group dinner.

- Day 11
Swiss Alps
You've got a free day in the Swiss Alps to do what you want. Walk around the nearby villages, take in the lake views, or just relax and wander at your own pace. If you're up for something more involved, there's an optional trip to Jungfraujoch where you can visit the train station, check out the Sphinx Observatory and Ice Palace, and do snow activities if conditions allow. The glacier views from up there are really nice. Back down in the valley this evening, consider finding a restaurant for Swiss fondue dinner, which works well after a day like this.

Swiss Alps to Paris
An early start gets the tour moving toward Paris. When you arrive, a driving tour takes you through the City of Lights, pointing out the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe so you know where to go tomorrow. You'll have an included dinner at a local restaurant before heading to your hotel.

Paris
You have this free day to experience Paris at your own pace. Join the optional Paris+ excursion to visit a well-known macaron shop, tour a perfume museum, take a sightseeing cruise on the Seine River, and go up the Montparnasse Tower for views. You can wander Montmartre's romantic streets and have a Parisian dinner. There's also an optional cabaret show to end the evening.

Ghent to Amsterdam
This is the final day of your Europe Jewel tour. You'll travel to Ghent, a Belgian port city, with free time to explore the medieval city centre and grab lunch. After that, the journey takes you back to Amsterdam where the tour concludes. Before heading home, make sure to swap contact details with the new friends you've made.
