Any point during the trip you could always talk to him about anything related to the trip or even anything else. He would invite to join him for activities that he would do during his days. All the recommendations he gave us were all ways great. I would do this same trip or any other Europe trip again in a heartbeat if I was able to. The trip met and exceeded all my expectations that I was expecting.

I came on this tour with an open mind and I was not disappointed in the slightest. I even left knowing alot more than what I did before the trip and being "one of the oldies" that says alot. The information that Tim gave was structured to the way the group was and i felt was all we needed but i will say it's very unfortunate that he cannot do the walking tours in some places as i felt all the other people didn't adapt to the group and how it would hold there attention. I loved it and maybe fit in another one before I hot 39. Thank you for everything and the support you gave the people that ask for it or for the ones that didn't but you saw that they needed. I wish my tour leader tim all the best in his career with topdeck and any other company he works for as his knowledge should not be wasted at all.

This has a lot to do with having Tim as my guide as he pushed myself and the rest of my tour mates to try new things and make memories that we never imagined we would have. This tour showed me that you really don’t need to be in a fancy hotel or airbnb to have an amazing trip, it’s all about the people. Even on long 10 hour driving days we could count on Tim to keep our spirits high as well as be a fountain of knowledge.

Two years later, I'm still looking back at my tour with fond memories. A large part of the success of my tour was from the people that I met along the way, but an overlooked part of the experience is …Two years later, I'm still looking back at my tour with fond memories. A large part of the success of my tour was from the people that I met along the way, but an overlooked part of the experience is how much of an impact that Tim had on the tour. It didn't matter where we were travelling, Tim always knew the history of all the cities and could answer any question thrown at him (we tried to stump him with a few hard questions, but to no avail). Not only did he have an extensive knowledge about the history of all the places we were visiting, but he would do optional walking tours in the cities (including a 4 hour walking tour in Rome, much to my delight), restaurant, bar, and general actitives recommendations, and would make sure we were all having a good time. He would always be walking around the bus and joining in conversations, ever willing to engage with the people he was leading. I'd done plenty of tours while travelling that year with plenty of different tour guides, yet all were entirely forgettable, except for Tim. I was only 18 at the time and the youngest on my tour, but he never once made me feel excluded from my tour, but, without knowing it, would give me memories and experiences that I think of every day and I'm sure I'll remember until the day I die. Nothing could replace those amazing 24 days I spent on that tour. I want to thank Tim for all of it. There was one particular day at the camping village in Rome where I received bad news from home. I found myself crying outside the bar at ugly o'clock. Everyone from my tour surrounded me, worried and willingly to help, but Tim took my away from the group and, with the help of a tour friend of his, managed to have me laughing in no time. I appreciated that constant support he gave and the laughs I would never replace.

The places we visited seemed like the perfect introduction to Europe. On paper a bus tour doesnt sound like much, but the combination of good people, friendly and knowledgeable tour guide and bus driver, and unbelievable places visited makes it very difficult to completely describe how amazing it was.
The tour guide Tim made every day so much more fun and enjoyable. It was impressive how extensive his knowledge was of the cities we visited, and the way he delivered it was the perfect balance of engaging and informative. I always had the feeling that Tim would be one of the better selection of guides, because it is very difficult to fault the way he managed the tour. I appreciate the extra steps he took to ensure we got the most out of the places we visited, even showing us around in his free time.
I would recommend Top Deck to any travellers.

I would admit that some of the offered excursions were not worth it, but you can always go off and do your own thing. Overall this trip was an amazing experience! I would recommend if you don’t mind fast paced trips and being in a bus for long periods of time.

Tim is an excellent tour guide and incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Europe. He made every destination come alive with rich history and colourful stories (delivered in a very witty, humorous way) What impressed me the most was his ability to capture the imagination of all the young people on the tour. Tim has remarkable organisational skills, and his patience is commendable. You set a very high industry standard Tim :) You probably spoiled us for any other tour guide hehehe.

Maybe have tours for getting drunk and flinging your money at bars for 18 years olds and tours for people who are 25 and up who want to do more with their hard earned cash.
If you get Tim the tour guide and your not his type or I dont know how ever he judges people. Does he even like have a set rule.. no I think he just hates you if your different. JOY.. You'll be ridiculed picked on, sarcastically slow clapped after you've introduced yourself to the entire bus, which he made us do fyi. I really didnt understand what I did to deserve his attitude but get it I did. He'll also make you answer questions to the bus such as if you were a lamp what would turn you on. Or express what you're OCD about. I don't know Tim what am I obsessively compulsive about? It's almost as if you have no idea what OCD actually is. It's a mental illness which alot of people, lots of young people..lots of young people on the bus actually suffer with. What else oh yes if your not a confident traveller make sure you go to prauge with Tim where he'll get the tickets and completely disregarded the barrier get you in trouble with the transport police and you'll have to pay a hefty fine. AND even when you are so understanding of this mans bull.. and say hey dont worry about it Tim it's an easy mistake(its really not.)You'll get the biggest sarcastic response. Wow. I was so glad I decided to brave it and trust his tour that evening yes this was 11 at night in a foreign country being threatened by the transport police who went round the group and took our ID and passports off us. Oh and after that to put the icing on the cake it will be too late for the proper tour the subway will be closed and hes getting a taxi back with his little clique group. He guides you to the tram and says thats how you're getting home and just leaves you there for an hour in the rain yaaay just what I worked hard for! What else I mean theres so much. Oh yes the toilet on the bus you're not allowed to use it. You might aswell take it off the bus and off the description. If you do somehow beg to use it just for a wee Tim will shame you for using it. He'll make comments he'll make toilet jokes he'll fake choking all that stuff you'd expect from a 13 year old. Maybe if you have IBS dont take this tour. That's right this tour totally excludes you! And that's great actually save your money do your research. I wish I'd done that. I'm never getting that money back all the while I know Tim will be making his. I know that Tim will be on that bus guilting teenagers out of there money telling them oh come on why are you worried about money. Dont be such a (fill in the gap with sarcy response sigh.) It's easy right they are new to the whole having money thing. Come spend this 300 here 100 there I actually just felt sorry for the people who didnt want to say no becuase they were worried about being excluded. Just young impressionable people wanting to fit in. Thinking it's okay how hes treating us this is normal. It's not guys. No matter how much he gives excuses that deep deep down hes a nice guy. I dont care Tim if you're a nice guy be a nice guy. No excuses. I've been through hell and back this year after I lost my Mum and I put up with your behavior like a saint. I was a nice person regardless of what I've been through. So you're just a horrible person. We deserved better.
To sum up. If you get Tim, create your own tour. You dont have to fit in, you deserve so much better than having to put up with his attitude. You've paid for better so go find it.
Also free wifi means less that a GB for the month UNLESS you're leaving a review for Tim on TopDeck. LOL I know. Oh and AND he'll tell you how he deserves 5 stars too! Fun.
If I can save that one person whose been on this trip and suffered Tim and thought maybe it was my fault I deserved it I didnt want to get drunk every night or I'm a quiet person maybe it's my fault. It's not you, you lovely human being. :)

The only thing that I dont recommend is to camping, it just got me tired during the trip.
