Asked on December 7th, 2025Do you have a tour that would allow me to research my Grandmothers birth? She lived in Cork I believe, and born in 1894. Name Margaret Mary Collins. Roman Catholic.
Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written December 2025Our current tours do not specifically include genealogy or family history research in Cork. The closest option would be the Irish Explorer tour, which visits major locations across Ireland, including Dublin, Galway, Killarney, and other historic sites. Please note that this tour is focused on sightseeing and cultural experiences rather than archival research, so Cork and Margaret Mary Collins' records would not be a planned stop.

Asked on November 22nd, 2025We are planning a trip to Ireland to see Josh Groban in Dublin on the 29th of March in the evening. We plan on arriving on the 28th and I would like to know what hotel is being used with the tour group so I can book the same for the 28th.
Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written November 2025At the moment, your departure is still quite far in advance, so we're not able to confirm the exact starting hotel yet. Hotel allocations can vary by tour and departure date and may change as we get closer, so we don't want to give details too early and risk any confusion. For reference, in the past and for upcoming departures, we have used Clayton Hotel Leopardstown and Louis Fitzgerald Hotel — but please note this is subject to change. The best time to check back for accurate details is around 90 days before departure, once the hotel list has been finalised.

Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written October 2025We currently have one Ireland tour left this year - a 7-day tour from 19 to 25 October 2025. Asked on August 14th, 2025Were people during the tour provided with a sort of head set to translate from English to French?
Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written August 2025Our tours are conducted in English, and we don't provide headsets with automatic translation into French during the tour. Tour leaders are happy to assist if you need clarification. Many guests use translation apps for key phrases or signs while travelling.

Asked on August 13th, 2025I wanted to learn more about this 7 Day Irish Explorer. It seems to include a lot but seems me might be on a bus traveling all the time. Do you have a breakdown of time on the bus each day? Also, the cost of $1505.00 is very good but wondered what is included. I suspect I'll need to buy many excursions? Can you provide a list of available not included excusions? I have a family of 5 - my 3 kids are all in their 20's.
Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written August 2025For the Package Inclusions on each of our Tours, you may refer to the "What's Included" section on the tour page. For our Irish Explorer Tour (same with most of our tours), yes the main mode of transportation is our own Coach was what we offer are Coach Tours and the average time spent on the Coach when traveling from 1 Location to another would be around 3-5 Hours.
